"Called in after a very busy day around the shops. Very warm welcome and they cleared a table for us within a couple of minutes as we hadn't booked in advance. We were just at the right time to order a cream tea which was delicious. Beautifully served in silver tea set. Fresh scones with jam and cream. If you are visiting it is definitely worth booking in advance as it was quite busy. Good toilets. Very welcoming and attentive staff . The lunch menu looked very good as did the ala carte menu."

"slow service and amateur. my man got his coffee long before mine, after which I had to hunt. the eggs of my man came ice-cold and overcooked and waiting for a long time. was not just us - all very slow and coworkers of 3 seemed overwhelmed in a restaurant that was no more than 1/3 full"

"Went here on a Friday evening to start the night. The place quickly filled up with drunk middle-aged men who were rocking out with their ties around their neck and suddenly I felt like I was back at some sort of dodgy regional bar. BUT, before that, it was a fun vibe with good pop music and reasonably priced drinks though it did take quite a while to be served at the bar."
