"Called in after a very busy day around the shops. Very warm welcome and they cleared a table for us within a couple of minutes as we hadn't booked in advance. We were just at the right time to order a cream tea which was delicious. Beautifully served in silver tea set. Fresh scones with jam and cream. If you are visiting it is definitely worth booking in advance as it was quite busy. Good toilets. Very welcoming and attentive staff . The lunch menu looked very good as did the ala carte menu."

we had lunch here when we bought in bicester. the staff were very friendly and sorted some allergy friendly tellers for us (not shown). the salates were delicious. Huhn's half. a beautiful lunch, easy on the pricy side. View menu

The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The set menus, which included options for 2 or 3 courses with an alcoholic drink, were very affordable. The ambiance was charming, reminiscent of a traditional old-fashioned restaurant.

they love this food stop in bicester village for several reasons: they do champagne through the glass, the breakfast is wonderful (I had smoked salmon eggs royale, and the salmon was cut so thick and generous), the server are all very welcoming and the decor is classic. really nice to sit on a summer day, and the afternoon is one.

it is a very nice restaurant in bicester village, with pleasant environment, haute cuisine, stylish serve. we had a prix fixe menu with soup and grilled salmon, both tasty, especially the fish. the evaluation easy to degrade because we were not offered house wine or softdrinks that are part of the menu, but tee, that is extra. I found it a little bizarre. the bill can be paid via QR code, which is quite high-tech and cool, makes it faster.

"I don't know what on earth happened last night when we had dinner here, the reviews looked good, and we're struggling to understand how. We're very easily pleased and takes a lot to prompt a complaint, but we had an absolutely awful experience. My partner ordered the belly pork off the specials board, and it turned up on a side plate, a very few overcooked bits of diced pork thrown in with a few veg. I had the cauliflower with braised lentils, this turned out to be a few mainly burnt cauliflower florets thrown into a plate of sludgy lentils. The chunky chips we ordered came out as skinny fries, not a big deal but just added to the general lack of care. We were both mortified, to the point of embarrassment. We ate it as we were hungry and there was nowhere else to go as we were staying at a local campsite. One of the team took the plates away, and another brought the bill. Neither of them asked us how the meal was, else we'd have said how disappointed we were. So we just left, just as the table next to ours was commenting on the small portion sizes of their food. We should have complained but we were hungry, disappointed, tired and just wanted to leave and simply couldn't face the confrontation in the busy setting. No excuses but that's how it was. We are very relaxed easy going people but this was a truly disappointing meal and experience and we felt robbed of £45 instead of enjoying what we'd hoped would be a lovely Saturday night out and special occasion."
