"My two friends and I visited Nimboo on a Friday night. The restaurant was only half full, so we were seated next to a wall. I placed my soft leather handbag on the floor next to my chair and ordered the fish curry, which unfortunately was disappointing. The dish resembled a thick tomato soup with small bits of fish. When I picked up my bag, I discovered it was wet and the leather had become soft like a sponge, ruining it. There was a leak next to me, so I informed the waitress who seemed unsure of the issue. The waiter brought a folded tablecloth to soak up the water, but did not address my damaged bag. As I walked to the bathroom, I noticed cartons on the floor to absorb the leaking water. I was puzzled as to why we were seated at that table when they were aware of the leak. I have no plans to return to Nimboo after this experience."

"Pretty poor service and food at Shabab Express, Leeds although the express part lived up to it's name! We felt rushed, that the food was quite generic (two completely separate dishes we ordered were exactly the same I kid you not... Lovely chapatis though! Coffee tasted rubbery and stale. Won't be returning which is a shame as the place is lovely in terms of decor and it was certainly busy on a saturday night, we paid £20 a head though and everyone had indigestion afterwards."

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"The food at this restaurant was really delicious and the portion sizes were generous. The appetizers were especially good. My friends ordered the Thali and were very pleased with their choice, especially since it came with dessert. I opted for two small curries with rice and Naan, and I was extremely satisfied with everything. The Naan was freshly baked and helped me scoop up every last bit from my plate. I can't wait to come back and use my loyalty points for another visit."

"I've driven/walked past this restaurant many times and one day upon googling I was suprised to learn it was one of the best restaurants in Cambridge. So I had to make a visit. Indeed this is the best Indian restaurant that I've personally visited in Cambridge (so far). I went for the Nalli Ka Gosht and Butter Naan. The meal was an absolute delight with the tenderness and flavour of the Lamb complimenting the sauces beautifully. I will certainly have to come back and try the fish menu. Thanks for making my visit a great experience!"

We didn't order any starters and the main courses came very quickly despite the restaurant being quite busy because we went on a Saturday night. "Our trip to Hazara was poor and a huge disappointment. I would not go again nor would I recommend it to anyone. The staff member who served us (bald, middle aged man) was incredibly rude and unhelpful. It was clear he had a vendetta against being helpful from when we walked in. What was particularly egregious was his dismissal of my question about gluten free items on the menu. My girlfriend is gluten intolerant, I asked him “what does the gluten symbol mean, does it indicate gluten is in those dishes or that they are gluten free?” to which he palmed me off, not answering. Consequently we ended up ordering exactly the wrong items and my girlfriend ate dishes which CONTAINED GLUTEN. He laughed contemptuously when I asked him if my curry could be hot, drink orders were met with further contempt, asking for which wines the restaurant served he impatiently and brusquely informed us that we should “look at the drinks menu”. Sadly this is a bitter human being who enjoys going about being rude and unhelpful to customers. I strongly recommend avoiding Hazara. This is London there are a multitude of other Indian restaurants available which are far better."

"I chose this restaurant because of its good reputation, but I was disappointed with the food. My Bombay aloo lacked salt and the cheese naan was not very cheesy. The restaurant is divided into two sections: a restaurant and a pub. However, it feels more like a pub, as you have to walk through the pub to reach the bathroom, which can be uncomfortable. Additionally, the TV was muted with Indian music videos playing, but it would have been better to have the sound on for a more authentic Indian dining experience. Despite these shortcomings, the cocktails were delicious, especially the Passion Fruit Martini. The waiter was attentive and even offered more bread during our meal. One highlight was the option to take home leftovers, which was convenient for lunch the next day."

"I have been a long-time fan of this restaurant, but it changed ownership and management last year. During my visit on August 17th, I enjoyed the delicious fried snapper and coconut crumb from their Caribbean menu, however, the service was lackluster. The familiar and attentive waitstaff were nowhere to be found. When it came time to pay, they wouldn't add the amount to my frequent customer card or accept my Toptable Essscheck without any explanation. Due to the poor service, I chose not to leave a tip. I may not return for quite some time, as there are other excellent Indian restaurants like Khyber in Croydon to choose from."

"First night in London, and we were looking for a basic bite and a basic drink. Something local , you know. Turns out we found a spot That 's not basic at all. We checked in to our hotel a bit late in the evening, and asked the guy working the front where was good for a bite and a drink. He said most places were closed or closing soon. I mentioned that I saw Salt on yelp nearby with food. It 's close but it has, sorta different food. And it has, night people, if you know what I mean , is what he responded with. Well that was intriguing so we had to go. We arrived and realized what he meant. The place was packed with Middle Eastern people, most outside enjoying the night air and smoking from Hookah pipes. it was a popping place, but definitely not a British crowd of guys pouring back pints. we sat inside and we were hungry. I got a lamp curry wrap and my gal got a wrap too. OK not the most original thing on the menu but we got the potato cakes too. Everything was great. The wraps were really, really good and hit the spot. The had some good wines and scotches as well, which really added to the night. The quirky ambiance was a welcome surprise. it was so foreign to us, but was designed to be entertaining. I don 't know when we will be back to London, but we really do hope t make it back to surprisingly great spot."
