Rich, velvety dark chocolate indulgence with a deep, bittersweet flavor.

"Popped in for some food before a gig in town. The fixed menu at £11.95 for two courses excellent value and it wasn’t basic dishes I had calamari and steak bavette with rocket/basil/Parmesan. Couple of draught beers that weren’t on the menu that were worth checking out. A lager and a hoppier version as well. The location of the restaurant right at Momument ideal for a grab of food on a night out. Service was sometimes less attentive than it could be but overall a nice meal to start the night with."

"We’re firm film goers so it’s nice having a great restaurant near Curzon to pop in before or after a film. Apart from great service and food choices, I have a tiny therapy dog and it’s brilliant that the The Running Horse is doggie friendly. What more could you want!"

"We chose this restaurant because of the Menus online looked great.. On arrival we were given a different, very limited menu. We were told it was the ‘Christmas menu’ and that it had been on the website for a few days. This wasn’t the case. I had looked at the website the day before and there was no mention of a ‘Christmas’ menu. There were pre-theatre and a la carte menus. There were only 3 starters and 3 mains to choose from on the menu we were given, and they weren’t very inspiring. We asked if the chef could do something different but we were told no. We didn’t have time to go elsewhere so we stayed. The portions were really small. The service was slack. Our glasses sat needing to be refilled often, the waiter was not observant and needed prompting by the more senior waiter. There was no atmosphere and I won’t be recommending this restaurant."

"I would give this restaurant zero stars if I could. My party and I were excited to dine here for dinner. We arrived on time with a reservation, but the waitress seemed surprised. We ordered dessert and water but waited 30 minutes without any update. It took 35 minutes just to get our water. When we asked about our dessert, the waitress said it would be another 10 minutes. After waiting for so long despite having a reservation, we decided to cancel our order. The waitress did not offer to speed things up or apologize. We found dessert elsewhere that was faster and cheaper. Overall, this experience was a disappointing waste of time."

"A few weeks ago, my husband and I decided to stop by the restaurant at the hotel before heading to the Royal Albert Hall. We arrived early for our reservation so we went to the bar across the restaurant for some pre-dinner drinks. The staff...there was lovely, very attentive and the cocktails were superb. We thought we were in for a great night, but when we moved to the restaurant, it was a disaster. First we didn't got our drinks served for ages, with the waiters not understanding or even being able to explain anything at all. On top of that, they were the total opposite from the bar staff, very rude and chatting with themselves instead of attending the tables, making not only us, but other clients irritated aswell. When the food finally arrived it was actually quite good, but we felt uncomfortable beacuse we felt rushed to finish and go, like they where desperate to finish the service. We tried to understand that maybe they were in a difficult situation or understaffed, so when my husband asked for the restaurant manager to explain the situation, he was very rude, not paying attention at all, like he didn't care. He brought us the check quickly and threw it on the table. It's a shame that we got that treatment. I remember going to this restaurants or years ago, and the services was extraordinary. I hope they can bring it back to what it was. For now I'll just get food at the cocktail back if I ever go back."

"I have visited this restaurant a few times and each time I have had the pleasure of enjoying some really delicious gelato, possibly the best I have ever tasted. What really caught my attention was the Gelato-Toughnut, it was truly amazing! The customization options were fantastic, allowing customers to choose any flavor for their donut. During my next visit with my wife, we ordered a freakshake, a milkshake, and waffles. Unfortunately, the woman who served us was not very friendly. She wasn't rude, but could have been a bit nicer. On the other hand, the gentleman who I believe was the manager was very accommodating. Despite the broken cream machine causing a bit of chaos with our waffles, the flavors were still incredible. Personally, I would not have served it or at least offered extra gelato instead. The prices were a bit on the expensive side, but that is to be expected in a city setting."

"Today at they informed me the booking I made in July for this Sunday was cancelled as since August they haven’t opened on Sunday’s. Birthday treat meal and then seeing Hamilton. So I have tomorrow to try and book a table for in Victoria area for Somehow I don’t think that I will be very successful. Now if Aster had let me know MONTHS ago I would have been able to. They have no idea how upset I am. First family theatre trip since out of COVID. Just because someone didn’t do their job and check Sunday’s bookings from August"

"Rawduck has been on my “to go” list for a while and I thought what better time to go than valentines. Although I think I would have preferred elsewhere. The restaurant wasn’t too busy, but the host made us feel like it was. There’s sharing tables and we were seating right next to another couple even though there were empty two tables available which is a shame for valentines night. Service was slow. Took a while to take our order. Food was nice. Good quality ingredients but nothing new or unique. The ratio to labneh and flatbread was a shame- 4 small pieces of bread with a bucket load of labneh. The fried chicken was delicious and 100% our favourite dish. The beef ragu however seemed like a very cheap and average dish that we got charged £18 for. We waited a while for our second drinks. We then waited again for our plates to be cleared. Then when they did no one came over to us again. No dessert menu. No drink offer. No tea or coffee. We flagged someone down but by then we didn’t want anything else so just asked for the bill. Any other night it would be fine but Valentine’s Day, it was disappointing."

"Had seen Zeus Greek takeaway when driving through Seaview. It looked like somewhere I would like to eat. Thought it was just a kebab takeout, so when I fancied a kebab for dinner I knew where I was going to go. After a minute...wait I got something I wasn’t expecting. Not your average kebab at all. It was freshly cooked, served with salad and a delicious yoghurt sauce and a Greek bread. I was blown away. It tasted amazing! I would totally recommend it and was good value for money. For five people it was about We couldn’t finish all our food. If you fancy something a little different than your average takeout it’s definitely worth a visit."

"The table I reserved was incorrectly listed for a different time at the restaurant's end, leading them to think I was late. They seemed disorganized and had an excessive number of new staff members. I requested some butter, but it took a while to arrive."

"Enjoyed the chocolate and hazelnut gelato. Not too sickly. The ingredients is one long list in comparison to something like Booja Booja which has 4-7 clean ingredients Almond Drink (59 (Water, Almonds, Salt, Stabilisers: Locust Bean Gum, Gellan Gum; Emulsifier: Sunflower Lecithins; Vitamins: Vitamin B2, Vitamin B12, Vitamin E, VitaminNatural FlavourIng), Hazelnut Paste, Sugar, Maltodextrin, Dextrose, Trehalose*, Chocolate Flakes (Sugar, Cocoa Mass, Cocoa Butter, Emulsifier: Soya Lecithin; Natural Vanilla Flavouring), Nibbed Hazelnuts, Cocoa Powder, Vegetable Fibre, Sunflower Oil, Emulsifiers: Mono and Diglycerides of Fatty Acids, Stabilisers: Locust Bean Gum, Sodium Alginate, Guar Gum, Carrageenan, Salt"

"if they think of iconic institutions in london, the ivy is second to none; periode. embedded in a quiet corner of the covent garden, it serves and delights londons westward since 1916. Exactly, 1916! to put this in perspective, since the call of the service on its first teller, Great Britain has seen 4 monarchs, 23 minister presidents and the top film was 20,000 ligas under the sea '. It is certainly the case that each court is served with a side of the story and to enter into its stolen dining room is like a step back in the time that is just stunning. modernizes but still keep all the classic decoration accumulated over the decades; and the menu has also followed suit. in the connection to the footsteps of so many before us, we visited the ivy in this night for a late dinner after the conclusion of a show that starts for a meal with popcorn shrimp then on the nets of spaghetti with atlantic prawns, chili and wild garlic and the grilled thunfish. as they would expect, eating was divine and lived up to his call. the popcorn garnels were so addicted, I could have eaten again and again that all night, although it would have been a scandal to pamper my appetit in front of the tuna that was excellent. the spaghetti, as simple as it sounds, was romantic in its simpleness and so fragrant; I'd like to eat it again. to round the food was a classic dessert from apfelteertetin; a befitting ended with a classic evening. if you were with the ivy, I hope you agree with me that this place must be one. it is now an institution and so much more than a meal; it's an experience."

"Delicious sourdough pizza at affordable prices. The ambiance is lacking and the acoustics are poor, making it very loud, but the pizza is truly tasty."
