"First of all, the web site allows you to make a reservation for 530pm but when we got there the lights were off and door locked. Had to sit in the car for 1/2 hour and log back on to make a 6pm reservation. The staff are extremely rude! When we walked in the guy said SIT! We almost walked out right there. We were approached immediately by another waiter who didn't say hello .... smile or anything . In all we had 3 different servers. When we ordered we had to say what we wanted at least 2 times ... with the drinks and the food. They don't seem to understand very well. We were never asked if we wanted another drink and they tried to take the food off the table before we were even done. It was very uncomfortable being felt to be rushed out. The food was good but we will never go back again ... and we live less than 5 miles from it. Don't go to this restaurant unless you don't mind being treated like you're putting them out by eating there. They do takeaway thou, so since the food is pretty good that would be the only option to go back for us, if absolutely necessary. Busby stoop Indian is wayyyyy better."

"My friend and I decided to go to Notting Hill for breakfast and after walking around for a bit we decided on Farm Girl. Big mistake. Initially we walked in and were seated quickly, it had a nice atmosphere and so far everyone seemed friendly. After being seated, a small card stated the menu was online and could be viewed using a QR code, which is a great way to move forward in hospitality to avoid paper wastage but you might want to think twice about this option when your building has no cell service and your free 'wifi ' works slower than my grandma climbing the stairs at 95. Our order was taken, we weren 't asked about any allergies (which we both had but ordered carefully), the food arrived quickly but my god... We get it, everything 's expensive in London but £14.50 for TWO pancakes with a spoonful of mashed up cherries and £10.50 for a slice of bread with some avocado?! RIDICULOUS! The tables next to us were also complaining at the prices of their breakfast once the food arrived and realised how appalling the portions are. My friend and I love supporting smaller businesses and expect to pay slightly more in support of these, but this was just atrocious. Not one server had returned to the table to check if our food was alright or if we wanted anything else. Once finished, we actually managed to access the QR code to pay the bill and a service charge had been placed ontop of the already extortionate amount. Now as someone who has worked in hospitality myself for 4 years, I 'm more than happy to pay service charge as well as leaving cash tips. Not this time. Paying service charge would 've meant we 'd actually been served, we hadn 't. My friend asked for the service charge to be removed to which the waiter nodded then went back to the till, bad mouthed us to his coworker who turned around to look at us both (making uncomfortable eye contact) he then returned and we paid straight away. My friend and I both left straight away, thanking the staff but we were blanked completely. Note to farm girl: sort yourself out, you may be popular with tourists but eventually you 'll be out of business."

"The food at the restaurant was not as good as it had been in previous visits. The service was casual. The shared starter was good as expected, but we were unsure about some of the ingredients. The biryani was mostly rice with a dry texture and burnt on the bottom of the pot, not following the recipe. The paneer masala was nothing special and disappointing, served in a dish with no place to put the rice. We could have gotten something similar for a lower price elsewhere. We have always celebrated our wedding at Prashads and had excellent food and service, but this time was a disappointing and expensive evening."

"This was an unexpected surprise. Came upon this restaurant by chance whilst visiting Birmingham. The trip advisor reports are very true to reality. Firstly very well decorated and very friendly staff. Bustling with customers after 7:30. Up a side street so reputation definitely helps this place. Vik, the barman come waiter served us to start some wonderful cocktails, which were made with clear skill. Last night in Bombay came recommended by Vik himself and I had the liquid gold. Both delicious. Food delivered on flavours. Extremely good quality. Faultless cooking and flavours. Mahi Salmon one of the nicest salmon dishes I have ever eaten. The beef cheek (Dhalcha beef Ghaal) was melt in the mouth and sumptuous. The vegetarian options were delicious also. Vik special after dinner Negronis are a must and he is very charming. High end Indian cuisine in a beautiful setting. Will definitely return and recommended already to friends."

"I had been looking forward to dining here for quite some time, and while it certainly was an experience, the food and service did not meet my expectations. I was with a group of ten, and the noise level in the restaurant was so high that I could barely hear the person next to me, let alone my guest at the end of the table. Additionally, the cocktail waiter at the bar seemed disinterested, and it took over 40 minutes to receive our cocktails, despite the bar being relatively empty. If you're seeking an authentic dining experience, this place may be worth a visit, but I won’t be in a hurry to return."

"great greeting, excellent eating (as always) and a special mention for what some of the best service I receive (consequent) in a birmingham (or elsewhere for this occasion) restaurant. Intimate knowledge of each plate from our server (just sorry that I won't catch their names), coupled with a delivery that is balanced professionalism and good humor is rare/unexpected. it made everything for a fabulous meal / experience. well done lasan!"

"We found ourselves in Guildford at the end of our mini-break and needed dinner. We wandered down Jeffries Passage and found Raviz. What a GEM of a restaurant. Honestly, the most gorgeous curries and Indian food we've ever had. Not bog-standard British versions of curries we've all eaten so many times over the years, but intricate, thoughtful flavours, absolute treat for the senses, so very delicious; with lots of lovely complimentary touches like the palette cleanser that came pre-dessert. Plus, we loved the decor front of house, so many lovely touches. If there was a tweak needed behind the scenes, perhaps the toilets needed a bit of an upgrade, and we did end up waiting longer than we thought for dessert (only because we needed to get back on the road home , but the food was divine and the staff so lovely. Compliments and Thanks to the Chef and all at Raviz. We would definitely make our way back to Guildford for another meal at Raviz. Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome there and the waiter helped us choose something suitable from the menu, but there isn't a kids menu (and there shouldn't be, it's not that kind of place . Our 9yr old LOVED her curry and was well behaved (mostly ."

"As a new vegan of nearly a year and currently traveling abroad, I have found it challenging to find suitable dining options. However, El Piano made my experience much easier! I walked about 30 minutes to reach the restaurant."
