"We have stayed at the Kimberley hotel several times but I was not as impressed this time with the food. Our booking deal included a 2 course meal on the first night. My husband chose battered cod and I had the filleted fish. The battered fish was served lying on top of the chips which had been arranged in a row. He found the batter quite oily/greasy which he did not eat but consequently that had left the chips underneath soggy. My fish was nicely cooked. I was also upset to see that several of the courses had a supplement and therefore not offered in the choices unless an extra cost was incurred which further limited the already limited menu. The wine was also very pricey. I felt the £49 for 2 people sounded a good deal which included a bottle of house wine although the house wine was not advertised as an option to purchase. We chose not to eat in the restaurant on the second night"

"Shocking. Have used this restaurant many times so surprised when I placed an order for delivery, waited 1hr 45mins to then have to call the restaurant to chase and be told “we cancelled that order as it’s a bit out of our way” phone manner terrible, not apologetic at all or even tried to find a solution. Just go elsewhere food isn’t worth the arrogance"
