"Zeugma is always great! Sometimes it gets a bit busy and noisy but for good food i don't mind. Their chef and staff is very friendly Nd I hope the chef gets a very good pay because the lamb is so well cook. I'm not very happy with their wine but their beer is perfect for their type of food anyways. I definitely suggest any lamb dish because I believe is their best dishes."

"no good experience at all, ordered a takeaway and in the rule is zorba fantastic, but the meat was over boiled and chewy, the Bulgarian rice was dry and tasteless, the chips were soggy and undercooked and the brot was changed from a flatbread to a thick naan type brot that is not so delicious. a very disappointing experience. I'm gonna go to another one from now on. as a shame as this was my favorite withdrawal earlier, but I don't know what happened"

"AVOID! AWFUL SERVICE WITH EXTREMLEY RUDE STAFF! Our entire take out was burned to a crisp literally black and charcoaled! Inedible! Shockingly rude staff there the owner (who wouldn't spell his name out for me, when I politely asked shouted down the phone and told us to go elsewhere. Apparently he's stopping take outs in the next week or so as this is a frequent problem. From reading reviews on here now, it seems others have had issues like this and I imagine I'll get a rude response with him lying about this happening! Very strange way to treat regulars (no doubt he'll say he doesn't recognize us as he has said to other regulars that have left reviews on here! we'll gladly find a new restaurant as you suggested before you slammed the phone down!"

"24/8/20 We three middle aged SE Londoners from Lewisham are taking advantage of the Government subsidised Eat Out To Help Out scheme. I had wanted to sample the delights of Lewisham for years but had budget restrictions. This was an opportunity to redress this. We turned up on spec quite late on a Monday at 21:20 to find a large deep busy restaurant of mixed families and groups of young people, quite noisy but a good atmosphere. The staff were young too in general. The pavement tables were all full and we were taken to a table toward the back. We took seats and as the staff were so busy it took a little time to be presented with the menus I nearly grabbed them from the service station myself). They were busy though so give them credit. The music was interesting Turkish versions of popular songs, Isla Bonita included! The menu was large and varied and we chose a beer each along with the main courses, no side dishes or starters. At 22:45 A waitress popped a small plate of olives and wooden bowl of pitta bread on the table, which was welcomed. The draft Tuborg Turkish brewed) beer arrived at 22:50 and we toasted the meal to come. As it was busy the food was taking a while to arrive and we ate all the tasty olives and most of the bread. Another waiter popped over and asked if we wanted a refill, we said yes and he returned with a larger plate of olives than original which was welcome! At 22:05 the main courses started to arrive. The portions were generous, my friend especially liked the chunky Swordfish dish £14) with the trimmings. I had Fish Guvec £17), a mixed seafood with cheddar cheese topping, which was hot and delicious! Our friend really enjoyed his Salmon Tava £15). I had bulgar instead of rice as a change and it was tasty. The side salads were also good. As the evening went on the families left and the noise decreased. Others arrived quite late 22:45) but were happily served. The mains went down well and I decided to have a rice pudding so ordered it from the waiter. My friends ordered another beer I was happy) between them and the waiter said he would bring two glasses to share it, that was good of him, instead of ordering two smaller more expensive beers. I waited for the rice pudding... and waited, obviously being made fresh I thought. We chatted with the waiters as they relaxed and the back staff came out to clear up the front trays. At 11 the rice pudding finally arrived, it was in an aluminium tray and chilled! The waiter apologised as he had completely forgotten he said! We forgave him! It had been a very busy day! The staff relaxed at the end of a busy night. The EOTHO days had been busy as Friday the waiter said. By 23:05 we ordered the bill which came printed including the 50% discount for the food £9.75 each). The total was £39.25 in total and we left a £4 tip. We left at 23:15 thoroughly repeat and sated."

"Absolutely in love with the food here! They have a loyal fan. So we walk in and a whole live charcoal grill scene is going on with breads beings rolled and meat on skewers, the works. The place hits you with a delicious smell and we couldn't wait to order. We ordered a hummous, cacik- which is a yogurt, ezme- an aubergine dip along with bread to start off with and of course mixed olives. We ordered moussaka, the kebab platter, kuzu beyti lamb and the chicken wings. Top quality food, top quality service. "First time here. The service was great and not rushed which I liked to be honest. Very friendly. The meat was succulent and tasty and even the salad was lovely. "I was passing so thought I would grab some take away food and thought it would be good and plentiful like a local one I have used a few times . I ordered a lamb shish, rice , salad and bread and was charged £13. I was surprised when I saw the small container he put into the bag which I guessed was the meat. When I got home I was horrified, the small container had a little rice which had 6 very small pieces of lamb , in my local you get 10 large pieces which these 6 would make up about 2 of them, mea twas tasteless and dry. The salad had a bit of green lettuce , no tomatoes, no onions only a sliver of red cabbage and a sliver of carrot, no dressing only a piece of lemon The bread was too thick and it was chewy, There were no wipes included. and for the money it was a huge rip off, it wasn't worth £5 never mind £13."

"The food at Dar Marrakesh was once again absolutely fantastic, which is why I returned with my entire team for dinner after a long day of meetings. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the service this time. The young lady serving us seemed annoyed to be working and was not very helpful when we asked about the menu. Despite the delicious meals, we had to wait almost an hour to pay our bill, which was unacceptable. "The food at this restaurant is very good, but the main course portions are too small. My partner, who is vegetarian, did not have many options besides fried food and an aubergine dish, which she does not like. The waitress made a mistake with our starter order, but she did not delay the main course, so we ended up receiving both at the same time. The drinks menu is not impressive. Overall, the food is great as long as you are not a vegetarian, but the portions are small and the prices are high."

"One particular incident, among many others that myself and my friends have experienced, involved me stopping by to grab an iced latte before heading to the cinema. I had half an hour to spare, so I didn't think it would be a problem. There were three staff members working and only a few customers in the entire place. I was the only person at the bar, so it seemed like the perfect opportunity to quickly order my drink. The bartender assured me he would make it right away since I was going to the cinema. However, after waiting for 5 minutes, a customer at one of the tall tables, who had been waiting for an hour, asked when his order would be ready. The server checked the system and realized that the order hadn't even been sent to the kitchen. The customer had to reorder, and when his order finally arrived, there was not much of an apology given. After 20 minutes of waiting, I went up to the server again to check on my order, as I needed to get to my seat. To my surprise, when I asked how much longer it would take, he looked at me with confusion and asked what I had ordered as if he had never seen me before. The lack of communication and organization in the kitchen was extremely frustrating."

"We hadn't been to the Armenian Taverna for a few years. There is now some unattractive building work at the street level but once you go down to the restaurant it is as welcoming and atmospheric as we remember. I made particularly good choices of food this time. My borsch was a good warming starter for a cold Saturday evening and the Armenian goulash was excellent more reminiscent of a Lancashire hotpot than a Hungarian goulash but with rice! I really enjoyed my meal. My wife's meal was unremarkable and she was somewhat disappointed. Our meals were quite expensive, coming to £70.50 for two starters, two main courses, two beers and a bottle of sparking water."

"I visited this establishment on Saturday for my husbands birthday. I was very underwelmed by the customer service i recieved. When we arrived a small group of 6 people also arrived approx 5 mins after). We placed our order and proceeded to wait, the small group placed there order 5 minutes after us. It was a very long wait or the drinks we ordered but we waited patiently. We waited 40 minutes for our food while the larger group recieved their food quite quickly after they ordered and before us I may add). When I questioned the length of time we were waiting, I was taken aback by the response that ' it was no ones fault ' and that they didnt inform us of the delay because ' we didnt ask '. I can honestly say that the food is lovely but the whole establishment is let down by the lack of customer service and the atomosphere as staff were walking around eating and drinking without checking in on guests. My annoyance was more the length of waiting and the customer service as they were not welcoming at all and this was on a SATURDAY NIGHT! Will not be returning even though they are so close to home and the food was pretty decent."

"Dined in there nearly 2 weeks ago. Good food, friendly waitress and exotic environment. Nice background music too. One star is deducted from the 5 full stars because the choice of coffee was very limited only 2, between Turkish and English coffee. Moreover, the plate was a bit weird or worn out so that it was like a sensitive turntable. Everytime when I cut or took food from the plate, it turned moved, which was a bit annoying. Certainly it was not a major problem, but attention to detail must add marks."
