"I hadn’t made a reservation, even though I was on my phone. They initially showed me to a high table, but when I explained that I preferred a regular table closer to the floor, they accommodated my request. Despite a large chalkboard displaying the menu, we were informed that the kitchen wouldn’t open until 6:30. When we inquired about the delay, the staff simply apologized, but I couldn't understand why a cheeseboard and a cold meat platter required a chef, especially at 6:30 when we were ready to eat. In such situations, I would expect at least a hint of friendliness to make the wait more bearable, but the staff’s complete indifference was disappointing and left a bad impression."
