"the personal was amazing that everyone smiled and really woke up. the presentation of foods was really impressive the visualization and plates. Unfortunately, eating was not so big missing aromas and flavors. ramen nudeln looked rather disappointing not sure what kind of noodles, but tasted like the cheapest. the huh katsu was missing, as mentioned above, also the taste. sushi wasn't bad, can't complain, but not so good for the price. I'm glad we tried this restaurant because we were much interested, but I don't think we're back."

"I regret to say that I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. The atmosphere was lacking, with only one other table of diners, and the temperature was uncomfortably cold. The quality of the food was poor and the high prices on the bill only added to our disappointment. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant."

"I love this restaurant! It seems to have new management, as I have heard negative feedback about the previous owner. I decided to give it a try after it rebranded as Takeya, and I was pleasantly surprised."

"While I understand that Japanese cuisine is traditionally centred around fish and meat, I believe that it is important for restaurants to cater to a diverse range of dietary needs and preferences considering the climate impact of Intensive farms. In this day and age, many people are choosing to adopt more sustainable lifestyles and plant-based diets for health, ethical, and environmental reasons, and it is important for restaurants to keep up with these trends. I would like to suggest that you consider adding more vegan options to your menu, such as vegetable tempura, vegetable sushi rolls, and tofu dishes. These options would not only cater to vegans and vegetarians but would also appeal to those who are looking for healthier, plant-based options."

"My friend and I had planned to go to the place next door, but it hadn't yet opened for dinner yet, so we impulsively walked into Sakura instead, and we are"

"I highly recommend this place! It's very kid-friendly, with plenty of space for children to get involved in the BBQ cooking. The service was excellent as well. We dined for dinner, and the cost per person was around £50–60. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 4. Some recommended dishes include the seafood, the 16-piece nigiri sushi platter, and the wagyu chef's special set."

"The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and welcoming. We were quickly seated at a table with a cooking surface in the center. The chef greeted us and impressed us by heating up the hot plate with a flash of flame. The food was delicious; the duck, tofu, and aubergine teppanyaki had amazing flavors, and the shoots and rice on the side complemented them perfectly. The restaurant had a smart decor with traditional motifs in line art. The menu was reasonably priced. I highly recommend this place and would gladly book a table here again!"

"tenkaichi is the best place for sushi/Japanese food in cardiff. there are other killer restaurants, but I always find myself in tenkaichi. I have visited all couple months once (minus lockdown), and I love it absolutely. usually. I put the sushi here, which is very tasty and very cheap. I would have their maki with bark (I can not remember the technical names), california maki, panko prawn maki, tuna maki; but all I had so far has not disappointed. I have also tried the Katsu wheels here and although the Katsu chicken becomes soggy (as they would expect if it were added to a ram), it is very delicious. the shoyu broth is moreish and the portion sizes are worth the money. all in all I can not recommend tenkaichi enough! I went here for one of my last meal before Kovid; it was one of the first places where I went to regulate to covid relaxed; I had a birthday meal here and I got friends here when they visit cardiff. it is excellent!"
