"Came here to try something different as we usually have Chinese all you can eat, but thought we would try Thai for a change there wasn't much selection and food wasn't very hot very greasy, we didn't stay long was disappointed to be honest £11.95 per person for what was on offer not worth the money, the food wasn't enjoyable at all, we would not recommend to friends or be coming back, it wasn't full of customers maybe now I can see why We have paid less for all you can eat Chinese and got more selection and better value for money. Hope Gordon Ramsey doesn't go there like we see him on TV at other restaurants"

"Had been looking forward to trying this place as had heard great reviews but unfortunately very disappointed. Ordered chilli garlic Prawns which did not contain peppers as described and the sauce tasted like chilli ketchup. Squid starter was the most disappointing, the batter was coming off the squid resulting in a congealed sauce which was thick anyway.. Shame about texture as sauce was flavoursome. . The butter chicken was lovely but quite spicy which is surprising as this dish is usually mild, unfortunately no indication of spice level on website otherwise would have asked for spice to be reduced. Placed order over the phone but now wished I placed it on website as they didn't apply correct meal deal, when asked I was advised the butter chicken was not classic curry and therefore not included in deal. Only checked when I returned home and this was one of the dish choices on website for the meal deals. This resulted in over charging me which is bit dishonest."

"Not the best experience. No parking to start with. Inconsiderate drivers. Service was overly keen. Kept interrupting our conversation various times asking is everything okay constantly throughout the experience. Manager offered as we walked in some water and poppadoms in a complimentary way. Later to find out he charged us a ridiculous price. Food was very overpriced for the quality. The variety was very limit and the staff didn’t now about the menu when asked questions. The manager was sneaky and added service charge also without asking us or telling. Place is small. Go owl and pussycat if you want good Indian food at a fraction of the price. I wouldn’t recommend unless you into a show room restaurant rather the quality and service. Thumbs down for me over hyped."

"we had a great evening in their restaurant! we came in without booking, and there were 8 of us at one of the evenings. the spicy margaret was just one of the best cocktails we need to order most. the cocktails taste fabulous! one of my friends has several allergens. it is not good to eat, and most of the food she cannot eat. a blonde lady took our job, and I told her I had several allergens. an Asian lady knows my allergens. she went beyond and beyond to make sure I had something to eat. she almost makes me cry because she cares about my allergens. thanks for a fabulous evening. the Asian dame and all the workers make our evening just as good as her. We will be back for more cocktails. we love this place and you are the best!"

"This is the best Indian food we have had anywhere outside my mother inn laws kitchen. Authentic flavors, meat is tender, the mixed grill was to die for. Fish curry incredible and the biryani totally floated my boat, Service was prompt, and friendly, yes seating is a little tight and portions a little on the small side, but for this area it is still amazing value, you will not find a better Indian. I am eating the leftovers cold for breakfast : What a treat !"

"We chose to dine in, it had seating but it's predominantly a take-away service so there were three tables to choose from. The service was quick and polite, with food being freshly made. We arrived not long after Umami opened, so the staff serving made sure the table we at was wiped down and clean for us. The food was said to be out roughly 15 minutes from ordering but it came out quicker than that. My sister ordered teriyaki tofu bento with duck oishi steamed buns (eyes bigger than her belly! Whilst I had tempura aubergine with vegetable gyoza. My sister enjoyed the bento buns, flavouring was lovely, generous amount of everything! She almost fell in love with the buns after one bite and her inner gollum came out. The tempura was very hot, but light enough to not feel stuffed as was the gyoza, pleasant and definitely able to enjoy everything. "my friend and I wanted to pick up and have had a request for Vietnamese food, we wanted to meet somewhere that was half a point for her and me and I jumped quickly on the open table to find a Vietnamese restaurant in the surrounding areas. caphe came up and we were glad that we could grab a table for 7.30 on a sa in such a short time. when we arrived, there was another person who had eaten alone, and while we were there, there was another table or a farewell, etc., only we! the service (again it was an empty restaurant was elementary, the young waiter was 't rude, but was, we will say very tactless as if I mention that I had a heavy prawn allergy (anaphylaxis sufferer his answer was good, not order the dishes with garnel in it. I have put this on his ignorance and said it is a serious matter and I tell them that they can check with the kitchen that I will not be served any dishes containing garnels. the dishes were good portions (especially good value for money, although the broth to my pho was quite salty and we had to ask them twice to come and fill our teekanne and water again. again it was interesting that my question regarding my allergy took that seriously in consideration of the salat we asked came with garn crackers sitting on the top. because it was our first time in the restaurant, I am uncertain if it was just one of them that the restaurant was so quiet or whether it was to serve or something else."

"We had a lovely evening with my wife and daughters at this restaurant. It had been a while since our last visit. The staff was friendly and followed Covid safety measures. They were knowledgeable and took great care of us. The food was perfect, with fresh and flavorful spices in all our curries, served at a comfortable pace. The prices were reasonable and they also had a liquor license. I highly recommend this restaurant."

"Went as a group of 6 for a friends birthday and had The Best time. Huge range of food and all of it was absolutely delicious satay sauce...such a small point but! it was superb! all arrived piping hot and super tasty. We moved on to Beer Pong, the manager arranged for us to go on as a group hadn't turned up and we didn't know you had to book. Very kind helpful man! Was BRILLIANT fun special mention to Henry who looked after us in the best possible way a Happy Birthday pud for our friend some shots (which were surprisingly LOVELY! at the horseshoe table. Made sure we all had a great experience. Highly recommend this place for an all round top evening. "

"Been getting my fish chips from Punjabi Connection for the last couple of years now. Well prepared fish and large portions too They also do a Punjabi version of the fish, which has some spices in the batter to give the fish supper a little bit of a kick Would definitely recommend it"
