"Myself and my wife have been to Zayna four times during recent trips up the Chiltern line to London and it is, quite simply, fabulous. The curry is second to none in central London and as true Brummies, we know our curries . We have been, in previous visits to more expensive and well marketed Indian, Bangladeshi and Pakistani eateries in and around Marylebone and Fitzrovia one of which is even boasted that he unmissable hideousness of a table full of loadsamoney noisy oafs which I don’t seem to recall were part of that particular restaurant website’s sales pitch. In any case, none can touch Zayna. We had Mukhun Murgh, Aloo Gobi, and Tarka Dhaal. We accompanied our mains with the sublime garlic naan you simply must… peas pilau, and the garlic pilau chef’s kiss . So, we will keep going back. The hospitality from Shan and his staff is always one of the warmth and good humour. The cuisine is excellent. The atmosphere cosy, and the personal touches of a family run restaurant there for the keen eye to see. It’s worth it alone for the two magnificent hand carved mirrors that adorn one wall, that took one man and one chisel six months to complete. You must go."

"Great menu! Very refreshing and different to the usual North Indian cuisine majority of the British Indian restaurants offer. Definitely try their Indian Chinese starters like chilli chicken, salt pepper prawns, veg manchurian and their cocktails! Natak’s menu beats Dishoom for us ; They have a new and excited team of waiters waitresses who take your eating plates away in a rush so a bit of service awareness missing but otherwise they’re all friendly prompt. Cannot wait to return to try their diverse brunch menu which has dosas etc."

"Food was amazing.Couldnt find any fault with the food.But the wait was ridiculous.for over an hour.One of our dishes was given first and had to wait for the rest of the stuffs again. Even though the staff apologized for it as there were short of staff .But what we noticed was that one of the families who came after was given the food earlier than us.They were given even glasses to drink water while we had to ask for a bottled water finally. I would say the customer service wasn't that great .but may get food from here as takeout."

"Wonderful food at MyLahore! Traditional Karahi, seekh kebabs and chicken stir fry were delicious with soft naans/rotis and refreshing mocktails. And to finish the best desi chai Really helped having a parking attendant outside who guided us to an easy parking spot opposite the restaurant. Really cosy, spacious and clean seating areas, we were given a very warm welcome by Sharjil Waqas who looked after us and recommended the dishes. Thank you Sharjil!! "a real sweat of a place. I don't know why it took so long to serve a few desserts. After half an hour of waiting I went to theke to ask when it will be ready and they said minutes before they go to make them. After a few minutes we were told that they didn't have what we wanted. How would we not have said that if we ordered it first? When I decided to get only one refund as I was dropped, he said he had to get the manager. he couldn't find the manager when he looked around outside the last. he gave us a refund with cash, although we paid with card. I didn't want to disturb her anymore, so I didn't say anything else. the young man was very apologetic and tried to explain that they were short workers, but on the way I noticed that the last was closed. if that was the case, why was it so long? there were people working and of what I saw, just a few people sitting around, so I'm still confused why it took so long, but I think it doesn't play any role as I don't back. manager must train teamworkers and actually be present on layer!"

"I have a table for 8 people for 9 o'clock there and we waited an hour before we sit down. must keep track of the staff to find out what takes so long. the table on which they sat was actually for 6 people, we were cramped. they said we should have been sitting there until we get one table, we waited, but no table was empty, so decided to sit in a tight position. the staff did not even apologize, they were beaten by their feet. but besides the service at the beginning, the place was absolutely amazing, eating was the best I had, great worth for money. entertainment was also the best I experienced, dj was amazing. the whole thing was such a mood, although it really started bad, I had the best night for my birthday. the people seemed to really enjoy their night."
