"Visited as a family with 2 young children. The waiter who served us was attentive and friendly. The waitress however seem very inconvenienced should we ever dare ask for anything. The waiter seemed panicked when I asked for a corkscrew to open our wine. I understood when he returned 10 minute later with my bottle with the cork pushed into my wine bottle, with plenty of corn sediments floating in it. Not the best start… We had the Tawa for 2 for £25. A little overpriced I would suggest but the portion size is generous! However, everything was just a little below expectation and a little bland. Nothing was poor quality, but little spice and little flavour in any of the dishes. Meat in the curries was a little sparing too compared to other restaurants serving similar dishes. Was surprised to be told cash only as I paid but luckily had enough to cover the bill. Not one we’ll return to."

A few weeks ago, my friends and I dined at the restaurant and last night we ordered takeout. The food is top-notch, the portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. We've tried similar restaurants nearby, but Sheesh Mahal surpasses them all.

Consistently the best curry for miles around. I usually collect as I live to far away for delivery but always worth it. Really freindly team, always on time for collection and the food is outstanding. I usually get the Chicken Boti and either a Lamb or Chicken Pathia. If you Ike a nice curry you should try the Sheesh.

I went to open my fast with 6children and 1 adult. I was given 3 large tawas. Yet over the phone I said tawa for 3 so I assumed there’s 1 tawa but at the time they bought out 3 and it was shocking coz they saw all the children aged 5-12 how much are they going to eat. My family and I had a great experience at Sheesh Mahal in Bradford. We ordered 2 tawas and the food was perfect for both adults and children. We called ahead to request less spices and our order arrived on time and exactly as we wanted. The service was impressive and the food quality was excellent. I brought my family to this restaurant today around 5 PM, so it was very quiet but still enjoyable. The decor was nice and the restaurant was clean. Our server, a young woman named Bahga (apologies if I spelled it wrong), was lovely and very patient with us, explaining everything on the menu. We ordered a Tawa with chops, chicken, two curries, chips, naan bread, and donner kebab meat. We got the portion for two people, but still had to take some leftovers home because the food was so delicious. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely be returning in the future.
