"The distinctive exterior gives an impression of authenticity and ambition. I never eat out these days as I’m invariably disappointed but thought I’d take a punt, just on that exterior. I can handle an alcohol free dining experience but what was on offer, drink-wise was uninspiring. I went to ‘lemon juice’ and my partner went for ‘carrot juice’. Surely it couldn’t just be lemon juice, carrot juice but it was; no frills, bog standard glassware. I imagine they prepare all their dishes in plastic takeaway tubs. A portion of meat, some veg and then rice. This makes them easy to store and reheat with portion control sorted. But to reheat it and present it on a plate still in the shape of an upturned takeaway tub wasn’t visually the most inspirational approach. Too much rice, too little flavour, too little value."

"A nice, family restaurant that produces normal Lebanese food. Nothing out of the ordinary but it was an enjoyable experience nonetheless and service was very good. It’s suitable for all the family kids too as there’s no alcohol and no shisha. The mezze selection was quite nice but I feel overpriced at £20 for the smallest plate and contains only the basic items (hummus, baba ghanoush, mutabbel, tabbouleh, wara inab, felafel and the strangest muhammara I’ve tasted in quite some time. Personally I didn’t like the look of the buffet (all hot items with a lot of meat and no mezze selection so I ordered a la carte instead. Buffet was £12.99 for adults, £6.99 for kids 5 10 I think and free for under 5’s. I’d definitely return but don’t expect anything really amazing here."

"the best libanese I tried. it has become my kryptonite at the evenings that I do not want obbr/>cook. The huh shawarma is slightly dry, so I recommend the baby huh with rice, the rice is amazing, like the brot, and the halloumi brot, and the flafel, and the garlic sauce. it's all amazing (and it's not too hard on her wallet.) In the did. that write about it made me hungry, something tells me that it's Lebanese tonight."

"Eaten here a few times and it just seems to even better. Seen a review saying this could be the best Middle Eastern restaurant in South Manchester and I wouldn’t disagree. The food is exemplary, staff are nice and depending when you go it varies from chilled quieter in the week to busy at weekends. It’s BYO drinks so if you’ve arrived not realising you can nip round the corner to Sainsbury’s local which is a few metres away. Food pics may not do it justice but it’s a classic meze choice of starters from humous dips, breads, baba ghanoush etc, mains are a great selection and desserts are classic Middle Eastern home cooked, the baklava is highly recommended. Vegetarian options: Plenty to choose from fully vegan to traditional vegetarian dishes. It’s a great choice for mixed groups. Parking: The paid parking at Village Square and Meadway are both less than a 100m away with loads of spaces and app parking (Ringo app) or coins, and only about 30p an hour. Don’t risk parking in unpaid spots or businesses as it upsets locals and you risk a fine as PCN are highly active with bramhall being a relatively compact village centre. Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly place albeit kids obviously need to like Middle Eastern food or be open minded. That said chicken skewers and rice is universally popular."

"We brought my father here for his 75th birthday and he had a wonderful time. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Our waiter, Season, was attentive and took great care of us. We ordered a variety of mezze dishes, which was the perfect way to try a little bit of everything. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant. Highly recommended."

"amazing!. we went here last night and were completely blown away by the food. we ordered the dalila mezze and main at £42, and it was absolutely delicious. the hommos beiruty was perfect, not too much tahini and a great resistance. the flesh was delicious. we have always tried only falafel, which is quite dry, but this was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, and was a new experience. the owner tony and his personal did everything to make us feel at home and made sure we didn't want anything. baklava came at the end of the meal and again was exactly right, as it was not too sweet what it is often. we will definitely come back, and again, and again!. we could not read more"

"since the change of property recently, I have dined twice in this Lebanese restaurant. both paintings, my friends and I enjoyed. decor has an authentic feel. very extensive menu for excellent trips. the personal is most helpful, but a little inexperienced, which in no way makes a pleasant experience. that will certainly improve. also very flexible, for example, there was no objection to me to order a meal to be shared by me and a child. has a large spacious interior dining area, additionally space outside the front for those who want to eat and smoke, or just a break and a zigarette that is protected from the elements when needed. how the dishes are prepared at the order, prepare them to wait, especially when all the appetizers are hot. if some nibbles, such as olives etc. were made available, the waiting time would appear less. because the restaurant has no license, they recommend to bring their own wein or beer with you. however, their unusual taste smoothings etc. are delicious and highly recommended try, regardless of byo. a proposed improvement would be better quality, greater serviettes. I want to visit again in any case!"

"Two of us arrived and were greeted decently. However, we were seated at an extremely small table that clearly wouldn’t have held all the plates we ordered (see photo). I had to request to move to a lounge table, which, when we got there, was still dirty. We waited around 5 minutes before someone came to clean it. On the positive side, the food arrived fairly quickly, and the staff were polite and well-mannered throughout. Unfortunately, the food itself was underwhelming. The falafels were bland and lacked any real flavour. The £9 tempura was especially disappointing—at that price, you expect something memorable, but it fell flat. The only thing I genuinely enjoyed were the tater tots... which says a lot, considering they were just a side dish. I paid £67.50 in total (including a £7.50 service charge, which I still felt the staff deserved), but I left feeling completely let down by the food and experience. Sadly, I won’t be returning. "Meant to write this review ages ago. Booked a table for 7 of us service was great, food was delicious and really great value for money, the staff were so friendly and gave great advice. In all we were there for just over 4 hours and are definitely going to return for our next get together at the beginning of September. Restaurant wasn’t full which allowed us lots of time to relax. Have been to a similar restaurant locally which was packed and felt like we were hurried along to make room for the next customers. We all agreed it was one of our best nights out for a long time"

"Having read previous reviews we had prepared ourselves for a long wait but our food arrived very quickly. It was delicious! Very friendly and helpful staff, food fairly priced and the portions are huge, the amount of food waste they produce must be quite significant. With that in mind and knowing they are still in the process of developing their menu, might be a good idea if one could order half portions instead. Just a suggestion! Thank you for a very flavoured culinary experience, we would definitely go back to experiment further."

"No doubt their lamb Sharwarma and sautéed liver is a show stopper here. It's BYOB, Chefs, and Staff are very attentive, a very nice ambience (warm, clean, and cosy). What more can you ask for... the price? Very reasonable! It's £7-8.00 for their lunch menu offer (12 -4 pm) so you can taste the good food for yourselves. I've been eating here for three years or more, I think, and the standards of quality are well maintained. See you tomorrow, guys!"
"my visit to beirut meza I liked very well, although my eyes might have been too big for mine. I had several of the hot and cold midshot, of which I would highly recite the hommos (a slightly spicy version) and the kalaj beirut mezza (a hello stuff flatbread) the chef, imad, clearly has a strong passion for eating that he cooks, and was about the dishes worth knowing would again eat a lot."

"I met a very old and good friend for lunch here she had recently visited Iran so wanted to be reminded of an interesting time. Having read the previous Tripadvisor reviews, we were prepared for the £10 corkage fee. I prefer white wine at...lunch, she prefers red. So we each brought a bottle and asked if we could drink half each for £10. The answer was no. So we both drank the white wine, which was fine, albeit the corkage was a bit more than the wine itself cost. We both had Jooeh and shared a Taboulah. Perfectly nice and good, but not exceptionally so. Plus an absolute mountain of rice! To finish, I was somewhat staggered by the Mint Tea, which was rather strong black tea with a couple of bits of mint in it and it cost £6.50 for one person. The staff were charming and doing their very best, but at £63 for one course plus the corkage I'm not sure it's a destination restaurant."
