Fettuccine served in a creamy Alfredo sauce with rich Parmesan and a hint of garlic, topped with fresh herbs.

"We went for a family meal, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We ordered several starters which all came and were very nice. The mains arrived(ish) they dropped one of the meals so that came later these things happen. The special Swordfish ..was as dry as a bone, this was returned and the chef re.cooked the dish and sent a new meal out which was cooked to perfection and lovely, which begs the question Why was the original dish even served The Calzone was not very pleasant it was over powered with ricotta cheese to the degree that the other fillings were unnoticeable, however we didn't complain as they were obviously having a difficult evening! This was one of our many visits to this restaurant, had this been the first time it would have been the last."

"We occasionally meet chums in Newmarket and this Italian was the place we agreed to meet for lunch. First time for us and overall a pretty good effort. Requested a better table but they couldn't accomodate the request, when obviously they could but no biggy . The food was good but not what I would call spectacular but would gladly go back and eat there again, so I would urge you to do the same. I think the trouble is we holiday in Tuscany, and frequent several high end Italian restaurants here in the Midlands. We may have been spoiled but seriously, this is a place I would gladly eat at again when next in Newmarket and as I said would urge you to have a run at it too. "Booked for the evening as I've always gone to Amore and wanted to try something different. We did get greeted very quickly as we arrived early but wasn't a problem. Was informed they ran out of mussels soon as w sat down. I chose a pasta dish as there wasn't much choice in pizzas as I like meat on it more than just ham and I can't have spicy foods. Our mains we really enjoyed and was just enough in portion size. Though I'd if liked to see more on the menu than just deli meats, spicy nduja and mackerel. Lots of vegetarian options for those who can't eat meat. Or if any specials were made then I'd of had in exchange of no mussels. Other than that we enjoyed our evening"

"I never usually leave reviews, but I feel particularly motivated after my experience at villa marina. My girlfriend ordered the chicken and chorizo paella and I ordered pizza. Unfortunately the chicken in the paella wasn’t right, it was crunchy chewy and rubbery. It was inedible. I told the waitress that it wasn’t right and asked if it had been cooked properly, I was told that that is how the chicken is, if it wasn’t cooked it would be pink and I should Google it. She did offer to give us another paella meal, but she said it would be the same as that is what the chicken is like. She was very defensive and unapologetic which lead us to leave it and just not eat the chicken as we did not want to get ill. They did knock £6 off the £16 charge for the paella, however I feel this is not good enough and felt compelled to write a review due to the way that the situation was handled as it made the atmosphere very awkward and ruined our meal. The pizza and wine was nice though."

"Welcoming staff and pleasant surroundings but sadly three of our chosen options (starter main courses) were not available. Our gin and tonics arrived without a slice of lemon or lime and our glass of dry white wine was room temperature and so we requested...some ice to put in it. The food was pleasant enough but felt we were being rushed. I had been looking forward to this restaurant as the pictures on their website looked great but we were disappointed with the overall experience."

"We were a table of 11 noisy family group on a busy Saturday night. The service was top class, our server Sophie couldn't of been of any more assistance, she was so lovely and very attentive! The food was absolutely delicious and everyone enjoyed every dish prepared! We also noted the choice for gluten free was superb...We had a most enjoyable evening at Adesso and will definitely recommend to others and return in future! Hugest thanks to all the staff for a wonderful evening!"

"I've written many glowing reviews for this restaurant, but my experience yesterday was a bit disappointing. If nearly raw cabbage and lukewarm custard are the new trends in cuisine, I hope we can move past them soon because they simply don't appeal to anyone! However, these are minor issues compared to the sneaky tactics used to lighten my wallet. We were offered the lunch special menu at £30 for three courses, which we chose since it was 4:45 PM. But when the bill arrived, we were charged £35. Apparently, that's the evening price, so please don't present us with a menu that’s not applicable! On top of that, there’s a service charge. While it's rarely acknowledged, I believe diners should have the freedom to decide when and how much to tip, without the awkwardness of having to request its removal if the service or food doesn't meet our expectations. Better yet, Gusto, consider giving your staff a pay rise! Despite my little rant, I genuinely enjoy this place and will likely return."

"Fabio’s Restaurant in Old Town has been a family favourite for nigh on thirty years, since my parents first took me there as a kid. Every experience was a special moment, it was always a treat to dine there. Gianni, and his attentive team, treats us as royalty and still gives us attention despite their regular, enormous amount of covers. Always an ‘on-the-house’ aperitif offered to close the meal. As for the food, I recommend sticking close to the traditional structure for Italian dining: • Antipasti: a couple of small shared dishes, such as: ≈ insalata di mozzarella e pomodori ≈ insalata di mare ≈ trio fritti • Followed by Primo (1° course : pasta dishes served as starter portions especially, the fettuccine: ≈ fettuccine al salmone ≈ fettuccine all’ortolana • Secondo (2° : go for a special if possible, the fish is usually a standout, or: ≈ pollo alla’cacciatora ≈ filetto rossini filetto alla boscaiola • Contorno (sides : usually comes with the main so no need to order separately • Dolce (dessert : panna cotta or banana di fabio followed by espresso latte digestivo, limoncello being a personal favourite Suitable for: ≈ Romantic meals, family, parties, solo dining ≈ IBS-friendly, just ask for alternatives and they’ll accommodate ≈ Portion sizes appropriate to Italian meal structures ≈ Vegetarians"

"--- **Meal Type:** Dinner **Price Range per Person:** £20–30 **Food Rating:** 5/5 **Service Rating:** 5/5 **Atmosphere Rating:** 4/5 **Recommended Dishes:** Tiramisu, Seafood Linguine I recently dined at this restaurant for dinner and had an exceptional experience. The food was outstanding, earning a perfect score of 5 for its flavor and presentation. The service matched the quality of the food, also deserving a 5; the staff was attentive and friendly throughout the meal. The atmosphere was enjoyable, though slightly less impressive, which is why I rated it a 4. I highly recommend trying the Tiramisu and Seafood Linguine—both dishes were highlights of the meal! --- Feel free to ask for any revisions or additional details!"

"I had a fantastic experience at this Italian restaurant located in the heart of old Poole. The food was exquisite, and the atmosphere truly charming. Our waitress was delightful and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. The menu offered a variety of consistently delicious options, catering to all tastes. The chef is incredibly talented! "We eat here more than I should publicly admit....The food and service are always spectacular! The menu has something on it for everyone, we are still finding things we haven't tried and end up loving. The specials are a great compliment and always something scrummy if nothing on the menu quite fits the mood (which is rare! . We have also had many special occasions here and are continuously impressed and our guests always leave raving. Luigi, Julia and their team and so wonderful-you will never regret a meal here!"

"I am extremely disappointed with the treatment I received from Zaza while trying to book a birthday dinner for my 10-year-old daughter and her friends. Despite the restaurant offering a children’s menu, they outright refused my booking, claiming they could not “manage” 13 children and that they would create a nuisance. I even requested a private party room and assured them that responsible adults would be present to supervise, but the manager Alin was shockingly rude and dismissive. Instead of offering a reasonable solution, they made it clear that they did not want to accommodate us at all. This kind of attitude towards families is unacceptable. If you are looking for a restaurant that welcomes children and treats customers with basic respect, I would suggest looking elsewhere. It’s disappointing to note that in a family oriented area this is the attitude a restaurant takes."

"Will only give 3 star , mainly because I booked for Valentine’s Day and was expecting the restaurant to have a Valentine’s theme but was disappointed as there was nothing whatsoever I saw on their Facebook that they had pictures of the restaurant nicely decorated for Valentine’s but this year there was NOTHING Food was ok , desserts not so good , chocolate brownie was too dry"

"I had an excellent dining experience at this restaurant. Every meal I have had here has been delicious. I have been here about five times, as my daughter Sawra and her partner Andy live in Winchester and often come to visit. They recommended Tom's Deli to me. Yesterday's lunch was amazing, thank you so much. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys authentic Italian cuisine."

"I was accommodated nicely, and the restaurant lead ensured I got a seat The food is absolutely great apart from the Canole, which tasted beautiful BUT a fork and spoon wouldn't break, i ate it with my fingers, when nobody was looking and it was shame as the presentation was lovely. . I was told the desserts weren't in the menu, but that was wrong, and my memory is fine. The scallops are divine, and the spaghetti is beaut. Attitude problems with some staff more the women, the guys are friendly enough, is it a Sicilian thing? If you can get your head around that, then fine. I felt I was treated like I was going to rob the place. This reflects other people's comments looking at them. I come as I am, from work NHS surgical, I like to eat out once a week. You serve me when I pay, not vice versa. You tell a lot of people how things are. House wines are great. Lighten up. Take it on board. Be nice., work on it, I hope to return."

"The staff at this restaurant are exceptional—friendly and respectful. We were part of a large wedding party, and they did their best to keep us together. Breakfast was fantastic; I especially enjoyed the salmon and scrambled eggs. The evening meal was also a great value for the price. The steak pie was huge, and the blade of beef was tender and flavorful. I can't say anything negative about any of the courses. One thing to note is that the location is somewhat isolated, but it’s definitely worth the effort to find. This place is a must-visit if you're in the area. Room rating: 5."

"This is the worst dining experience I have had in Dublin due to one of the waiters We booked a table and deposited the money required, which I understood due to the busy time. There was a very rude waiter who said to us (quote) 'Nobody comes to a restaurant just to order deserts when he got to know that we were just ordering wine and deserts, other than a full set three-course meal We completely understand the rationale behind this, but the way this message was delivered to us was very unprofessional, disrespectful and in fact, very rude. I could think of a million ways to better tell your customers the same information. The waiter is black (This is not related to race at all! but his language could come across rude due to English not being his first language? benefit of the doubt is given here However, when we were leaving, the nice female receptionist was super nice and professional, making it less awkward to both sides Still, no customers should be treated like this"
