"I started with the bruschetta topped with mushrooms, which was tasty but nothing out of the ordinary. For my main course, I had the bistecca, or sirloin steak, with artichokes in a white wine sauce, served with roast potatoes and nuts. The steak could have used a bit more seasoning, but overall it was delicious. I also enjoyed a glass of house red wine from Verona, which was a bit sour but still enjoyable.
The service was decent, with a single waiter handling several tables. While he was friendly and welcoming, we had to make an effort to get his attention when we needed something. Overall, it was a good first experience of authentic Italian cuisine in Edinburgh, though there were a few minor drawbacks."
