"We tried here last night for the first time, we haven't eaten Sri Lankan food before. The lovely three young women serving were all friendly and helpful. There was one in particular that took the time to explain the dishes which helped us to choose and thoroughly enjoy our choices. I loved the atmosphere of the place and the food was tasty and freshly made. We now want to try the buffet that takes place on the last Sunday of the month. The lovely waitress explained it is alternated each time between the ordinary menu and a vegan menu. If you are on Facebook everything is explained on there. Can't wait to return and bring our family who I know will enjoy this fab place."

"I visited a restaurant that advertised vegan food outside and decided to go in for a bite to eat. Upon entering, I noticed there was no physical menu but instead a QR code posted on the wall. I was informed that I had to scan the code and order through the restaurant's app on my phone; ordering through the app was mandatory and I couldn't order with a waiter using the mobile phone menu. When I asked what to do if I didn't have a phone or a smartphone, I was told there was nothing that could be done. The app also required my name and email address, which I questioned the necessity of since I was already sitting in front of the staff. Despite my concerns, I was unable to override the app and ended up placing my order and paying through it. To my surprise, the app added a 10% tip that I couldn't remove, even though I felt that I had done all the work in placing my order. The staff was not the problem, as they were only following the rules set by the pub owner. I was disappointed with the entire experience, and would not recommend giving them your business. Additionally, the food was average at best."

"We were staying a short walk away from this pub. There are two pubs close to each other but this came recommended by the owner of our B&B. First visit was only for a quiet drink and landlady was very welcoming. They have homemade pie which is very popular. We returned the following evening to eat and wasn't disappointed. I had cheese flan, light with a lovely thin crispy pastry. Home cooked chips with side salad. My partner had the steak and ale pie, again all home cooked. Empty plates say it all. Would return to this friendly pub in a friendly village"

"My experience at the cafe today was disappointing. Despite the fact that the place was almost empty, the staff ignored us when we arrived and we ended up leaving without even being acknowledged. It would have been nice to receive a simple greeting or an assurance that they would be with us shortly. Instead, they seemed more focused on chatting amongst themselves. I hope they consider being more attentive and courteous to customers in the future."

"Fantastic Vietnamese restaurant, pleasantly surprised. Staff are extremely attentive and very friendly. Menu has just enough choice and every meal looks lovely. My fiance and I had Pho soup which was a lovely winter warmer. As pictured you are given a separate plate to add as much chili's, basil leaves, beansprouts and lime as you want. Plenty of meat in the pho soup which is hard to come by nowadays. My sister ordered the ribs that were technically a side, but she doesn't eat much and that was more than enough for her. She said they were top class too. The building itself is quite interesting too, quite rustic inside with multiple floors showing different creative styles from the restaurant owners. Fried banana with coconut ice cream is a must. Flan was also quite nice. Reasonably priced, a great experience, definitely going again."

"This was my second visit to this restaurant because i had such an amazing experience when visiting a few years ago with family that its been on our mind to come again. Unfortunately this experience was extremely disappointing. We booked this in advance for our...party to have the Kamayan which is the platter of food on the banana leaf tray. I have to say that the quantity of food was very disappointing compared to the previous visit. Firstly the soup was put down at the same time as the Kamayan but we were not provided with any bowls or utensils. The staff did not seem to care very much about our needs and we couldn't get anyone's attention so i had to get some dishes from another table. We had a vegetarian in our party who on our last visit was given a small bowl of vegetarian soup. This time she was given nothing and just had to watch everyone else eat. As for the Kamayan the vegetarian was previously given her own section of the platter that had her vegetarian option on it without touching the meat. On this occasion she was given the same pile of food and meat as everyone else and a tofu dish. so she couldnt really eat the vegetables or rice as it was covered in meat. The quality of food was also not great. all the food was cool and not hot. The corn looked and tasted like it was cooked hours ago and was almost plasticy and was completely inedible. The taste of the food was not as enriched as it has previously been and has really put us off coming again or recommending it to friends. As it stands the price of £17 per person is over priced for what you get now. Very sad to eliminate this place in the future."

"There's a lot to love about the tapas! They are freshly prepared and served promptly. The atmosphere feels cozy, reminiscent of a small apartment, even though it's located below street level. The decor is appealing, the food is delicious, and the service is friendly."

"Clean your desert fridge before making up lies in your replies to honest review. And Maybe keep your toilet doors closed so your visitors dont have to explore for themselves if its a ladies or gents room, door was never closed you would know I used it to just wash my hands. And if you tryna have a laugh at that then you just showing what kinda simple minded and stuck up thinking you have. Im glad you understood the foreign language comments me and my friends made about the place and food, if you are so set to making sure your customers have good experience why didnt you come and speak about the comments then? Cause you dont care you made your £90 in the hour we spent there. You are lucky we even paid for our ' 'dining experience ' ', kitchen nightmare level food establishment with a delusional owner that thinks the place and food must be perfect, and only has madeup snarky comments to make at his customers in reviews section. Just close the place down you clearly have no interest in providing a good dining experience. When I saw you in the kitchen I could tell you had a passion for making food and at this point you have burned out and just keeping it afloat and running just because.. if you cant take criticism without responding with madeup comment and acting as if its not like that then youre in the wrong business. Place has no soul or good food, only thing nice was the sauce that came with the steak and the garlic bread ill give u that. The only reason we gave you more stars on previous reviews is because we didnt want to be too harsh because you were nice to the girl in our party, that was the only reason you got any stars. But heres the real deal. Also grape and grapefruit juice are from different fruits as a food establishment you should know the difference."

"I do not agree with the previous review. they do not offer a vegan cheese, but the love shack and veginator minus the halloumi are both vegan options with many toppings. I have no problem with the vegan gluten-free bungalow and find it better tasting / probably healthier than a heavy brioche beer. they also have a bunlose option with salat that was given to replace the bungalow. the burgerpatty itself is vegan and tastes very beautiful imo not as they bought it in the frozen food aisle."

"We were there for Valentine's Day. Unfortunately a nasty surprise. The drink we ordered was named long after we had ordered it as not available. We were served carpaccio, which was no longer that fresh and therefore could not be enjoyed. Then drinks were served, which not our goods. We thought as reparation for the mishap before .. The drinks were taken away from us again and in the end the flowers that my husband ordered, which should be on the table, were completely ignored that day .. a shame"

"My mom and I are regular customers at this restaurant, usually visiting for breakfast. I would give it a 10/10 for cleanliness, friendly service, inviting atmosphere, convenient location, and the delicious freshly made breakfasts. You can customize your breakfast with a variety of options, or choose from the full Vegetarian or English breakfast. I can't even put into words how tasty everything is. The menu also offers a great selection of drinks, light and main lunch options. We don't mind making the 16 mile round trip to eat here, as it's definitely worth it and very reasonably priced. We have never been disappointed, as the warm welcome and consistently good food sets this place apart from others in the area. It's a rare find in today's dining scene."

"Not a pleasant experience at all. Lovely looking soda bread in the window. In we go to buy some. Believe it or not they actually didn 't want to sell it.A very rude gentleman advised that the bread £3.00 each, so not a bargain) would run out if we bought it. Surely that what should happen with the goods for sale in a good cafe bakery ? My friend offered a £20 note for her purchase, this caused actual panic. No change, no change , I stood holding out 6 pound coins for my bread and was totally ignored. The whole experience was ridiculous what a strange one."

"I have had a great number of treats provided by Jan of Truffleicious from bean salads to homemade ice cream to tarts and cakes. It has always been so good! Perhaps my favourite to date is her chocolate brownie with strawberries, although her lemon tart with meringue is not to be passed up either. Or the peach flan... seriously, so many lovely choices, and yet I have never been disappointed. Portions are good size you get your money's worth with Jan. All food is take away, but luckily a lovely, quaint NT garden is on hand very very nearby to sit in and enjoy your takeaway treats. Booking is advisable as she can sell out quickly on a sunny day; she is popular with the locals, so don't miss out!"

"There were 2 or 3 things that were very good... The Al Pastor Tacos and The Baja Fish Tacos. Would return to eat these. It prides itself on being based on Mexico City, but having been to Mexico City (and other places like Oaxaca can safely say this is not that far removed from Chiquitos type TexMex. The Sharer Dish of Sea Bream was Ok, not bad, but nothing better than Ok. Dessert was meh. (Mexico City...?? Where are the Churros? The Marquesitas? The flan? The Tres Leches? Just overpriced BS like passion fruit cheesecake and chocolate tart etc. In short: would come back and eat the Al Pastor Tacos Fish Tacos... Pass on nearly everything else."

"For a town that supposedly welcomes tourists, after the short drive from Larbert, our brief visit to this shop was highly disappointing. Utterly rude staff I base that comment solely on the interaction with the lady who served me a couple of (actually not great) venison sausage rolls. My wife enquires about gluten free food (quietly). Obviously an extremely insulting question we took our custom down the road to the l, altogether more civil Crieff Food Company who, perish the thought, appeared to realise that basic manners are worth the effort. I'm unsure whether it was the question, the fact it was asked too quietly (due to wearing a mask) or the fact that it was asked with a Spanish accent that led to my wife experiencing such rudeness when I had not. Doesn't matter we won't be back."

"Lots Larder Kitchen with the new Chef Baden has a lively atmosphere with excellent and attentive service provided by proprietor Maha Laxmi. We had the succulent beef randang with brown rice, lightly steamed fresh broccoli, homemade coleslaw and beetroot salad. For dessert I sampled the fresh fruit salad made of mangoes, melon, and ruby pomegranates. I also had the apple flan with fresh cream served at room temperature that I like. We also had prosecco in lieu of beer and had a thoroughly good afternoon in Lots Larder Kitchen. Ah! The food was delicious and we were sated. We look forward to returning sooner rather than later to this local kitchen."

"This restaurant is located on the high street of Ruislip and offers a nice atmosphere. While I cannot comment on the food as I have not tried it, I must say that as a pastry chef in a 5-star hotel, I am accustomed to a higher quality of product. The dishes here are more simple and resemble those found in a local establishment. The person in charge was friendly and attentive, managing the kitchen and serving guests with a smile. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place."

"We stopped at this little café on our way home to Bristol from a short staycation in the Lake District. We had decided, as it was a reasonably pleasant day, to take a mostly non-Motorway route home heading off the M6, onto the M56 and then taking the the A49 to Shrewsbury to a restaurant that we had made a reservation for lunch. Then we continued on the A49 and A417 to Cirencester (via SE Gloucester), from there it was then only a short and familiar onward journey to home. Having got clear of the motorways and onto the A49 we were in need of a break, and a cuppa. To we looked out for a likely place to stop and that turned out to be Bunbury, and thus to this café. We really enjoyed our coffee and tea and we were sad that we couldn’t enjoy some of the delicious food that we saw served to other tables. As I say we had reservations for lunch elsewhere. My partner took the opportunity for a comfort break and, whilst she did so, I purchased a limited edition print of a painting by a local artist. It was exactly what we needed, in colours suiting our lounge; the big bonus was that the subject matter really appealed too. It was my gift to my wonderful partner and to our lovely home."

"Today I was driving by a bakery I had never used before (Pilkingtons Davenport) and decided to pop in. I purchased several items which were absolutely horrific in taste! I had the curry pasty, some sort of lattice and 2 custard cakes, all of which were inedible beyond the first bite. The bakery was more expensive than a normal bakery and the 'food ' if I can even call it that has left me wondering if I would have been better off scrounging in the trash for food. Needless to say I will never use this bakery again."
