"My partner and I recently moved near here and we’ve been scoping out some fun new local spots the past few weeks..This place seemed to always be packed so we assumed something good was happening inside and decided to check it out for ourselves—and I’m so glad we did! Without a booking we managed to get a table on a Friday evening, which we weren’t completely expecting. Once sat our waitress Sai offered some amazing suggestions for starters; the spicy Thai beef salad (steak was seasoned incredibly well and the dressing is both delicious and truly spicy and the minced prawn/pork dumplings which were so good—will be reordering both. For entrees we had the BBQ duck with sticky rice and a prawn pad Thai which were delicious. If you go, we’ve also heard great things (and Sai confirmed this that the drunken noodle is very good and I’ll be looking to update this review as soon as I can confirm ; Overall our experience at Thai Garden was a fabulous one. Everyone inside was lovely, the staff and also the other customers…which is a weird thing to comment on I realize but you get a real sense being here that most people who come in are regulars and it makes the whole experience just a bit more warm. Can’t wait to go back"

"recommended this place from a good friend of mine .. that was eating ace .. starter we had mozzarella sticks and nachos .. beautiful and fresh and tasted really good .. they had some unusual mojitos and since I was obsessed with irn bru, I had to have an irn bru mojito. it was nice, but rather steep price for a softdrink £5). but I guess they pay for what they get! for the net we had burger, lambburger, crispy chickenburger and a sunday roast ..all were fully tasted and tasted very nice .. the burger came with skin on fries."

"So we had another establishment cancel our reservation at the last minute and we stopped in here and they were very accommodating. Food was amazing and definitely the best Thai food I have had in a very long time. Authentic taste and we loved the variety of starters and main meals. "We called in having no idea what was awaiting us and were warmly greeted by the servers and shown to a pleasant table by the window. We were encouraged to see that the restaurant was quite busy for a Tuesday and many of the patrons...appeared to be of Japanese origin. We were quickly asked what we wanted to drink and our chosen beverages arrived very quickly. We were able to study the extensive menu in peace but when asked if we were ready to order the waitress provided guidance and advice. The food arrived beautifully presented, piping hot and in vast quantities! Everything we ordered was delicious and we swapped small amounts as we all thought we'd made the best choice and wanted to show off to the others! The puddings were equally incredible with tempura battered deep fried ice cream a complete revelation! It tasted like ice cream filled donuts!"

"The first place we visited on our way from the mall to Did Modern on Jubilee Day wasn’t overly busy, which made us a bit skeptical at first. However, we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was very helpful, and there was a nice variety of drinks available. While some menu items were out of stock, there was still a large selection to choose from, and the food did not disappoint. We would definitely come back again!"

"Not the best Japanese food but it tasted good and was presented nicely Otherwise this was a pretty bad experience. A real disappointment because we had visited a few times before and enjoyed ourselves. Loud modern music was playing but they did turn it down when asked. The waitress didn't really seem to know what she was doing. We ordered starters and mains and it all came out at once. There were 5 of us. The kitchen staff must take some responsibility for this but it appears that their minds were not fully on the job. My daughter asked for her main dish to be kept warm. I asked the waitress to bring my main out later as the table was full and there was nowhere to put the food. My granddaughter had burger and chips but was given no cutlery. She got it when she asked. No green tea, although it was on the menu. The carafe of cold water was fine. The toilet was out of order so two of us had to go and find a business that would let them use a toilet. I don't know what had happened to my main course but it hadn't arrived by the time everyone else had finished their meals. Eventually, I took it away as a take out. I would advise you to avoid this restaurant. You would do better with a takeaway."

"I came to this restaurant for Father's Day after visiting many times before. Unfortunately, this time the service was poor and the portions were small. I am gluten-free, a dietary restriction I mentioned when making the reservation. Typically, the chef comes out to explain what I can and cannot eat, but this time the waitress told me I could only have what was marked on the menu, which was just olives. I asked to speak to the chef, and was surprised when the waitress suggested I could have a roast dinner. When the roast beef arrived at the table, it had a Yorkshire pudding on it, which I was initially told I couldn't have. After questioning the waitress, she confirmed it was gluten-free, only to take my plate away one minute later because it wasn't actually gluten-free. This experience has made me doubt their ability to accommodate my dietary needs. I spoke to the manager, who told me they were working to address issues from the previous management."

"I will write a total review because we have enjoyed saffron so far at many locations. but today something unique and really nice happened. we ordered a trip to the house. while we went to our car, a bag fell and one of the containers spilled. one of the chefs (if I understood correctly) drove and noticed that. He went into the kitchen and brought them to prepare the meal and replaced the one who had fallen. it wasn't something he had to do, but this little gesture was appreciated in full. we will continue to recommend this place to all."

"I had a family dinner here today on 23/4/22. Eating was absolutely amazing, had never Thai food before and I am a definitiw fan! I ate a yellow curry with king garnel and cocosy for my main meal and it was delicious, very full, but did not let me blossom. the food arrived quickly and the personal has constantly checked us to make sure we are well. this is really appreciated as it has welcomed us and the personal took care of us! there is also a beautiful dessert menu, with some delicious puddings. I would recommend the deep-fried ice! it was all cut off with a nice cup coffee. all in all, a great culinary experience with nice eating and personal. will definitely return. thanks!"

"My boyfriend and I went here today for my birthday. The food was absolutely delicious. My boyfriend and I got Thai calamari with sweet chilli sauce and chicken coconut satay with peanut sauce for starters. Then the tiger cry, chicken and beef friend rice with beef pan-nag for our mains. My tiger cry was SIZZLING!! We also got chilli sauce. The food was SO GOOD. Omggg. We ate every single bite and morsels of food. It was so scrumptious. They also sang happy birthday to me (on request of course) and brought out the cake my boyfriend got for me. If you’re thinking of coming here for a meal DO IT!! The staff were lovely and sweet. I’m so glad I got to come here for my birthday"

"She said we could sit anywhere so we sat in the window. I love the glass tables with the miniature Vietnamese village scenes under the glass, sets the scene. So good to look at a Vietnamese menu where everything is vegan so no mistakes can be made. I ordered the Caramelised Tofu and green banana in clay pot and my buddy ordered the presidential bun cha, was Delish. I don’t think I’d ever had dessert in a Vietnamese restaurant before so we had the fried ice cream and Mango spring rolls and basically they were amazeballs Everything is vegan but they are still in the vegetarian page of HappyCow. "Very disappointing. Very very disappointing. I have eaten at this restaurant before but after eating there last week I will never go again. I ordered a panang chicken curry, the quality of the meat was poor, the sauce was thin and watery, the rice overcooked and my friends meal was supposed to have seafood in it and there were about 3 bits of seafood which were overcooked and it tasted of nothing. I am a big fan of Thai food and therefore was very disappointed with the quality of the food. We complained and got nowhere, they couldn't of cared less. The restaurant was busy so I think that they have just got to the stage where they are just serving in volume and not worrying about quality...read more"

"My partner and I were in Bristol for an hour to charge our car and came here for dinner. The staff were really friendly and helpful in an attentive-but-not-annoying-way and just the right level of chatty, and the food is brilliant (not overly complex, not too simple, not trying to be too healthy, just delicious and filling! . We arrived later than planned and didn't realise the kitchen closed earlier than the closing hours (Happy Cow now updated! but they went out of their way to look after us, make sure we were fed and watered and didn't feel like a burden. Hand sanitiser on each table, clean toilets, amazing food, friendly staff and at a good price. I can't wait to go backSeveral outside tables in addition to those indoors. I wish I lived in Brisrtol!"

"Tried this small place after finding the adjacent restaurant all booked. I will upfront my complaints: the menu advertised an 18£ meal but when we sat down we found that an alternate £33/38 ! prix fixe menu was in place. Upon checking again after the meal I did notice that the displayed menu was for a Thursday, so the prix fixe must be for weekends. I consider this somewhat deceptive advertising. This price fixe menu only includes appetizer and dessert if you go with the 38 option. No matter how good the food I just can't really justify a 30 dollar pad Thai. In addition, the space is also somewhat small I was seated almost blocking the entryway . That being said we ordered the massaman beef curry, pad Thai and crispy chicken and all the food was very good. I feel bad since it seems the owner/chef has put a lot of time and skill into their menu. Perhaps they are being overcharged for their location and have to pass it on? As is I can only give a 3/5."

"I have visited Tom Yum Thai Kitchen a numerous amounts of times over a few years and I have never been disappointed. The Banquet Tom Yum on the set menu is amazing value for money and the dishes included are just out of this world this is personally my favourite choice on the menu and cannot wait to try more!The staff are incredibly friendly and nothing is too much trouble, they're very welcoming and polite. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is brilliant, beautifully decorated and outstanding cleanliness. Also I would HIGHLY recommend the deep fried ice cream they offer on their dessert menu!
