Mai Sushi - Menu

Really lovely food!! I’m a sushi addict and this really hit the spot indeed! A must go! Nothing fancy, just great food! Decent pricing aswell!

Have been here a few times since being introduced and it's an excellent unpretentious sushi restaurant with fantastic quality sushi and sashimi.

The sushi you get at this restaurant is of excellent quality and comes at a great value. Additionally, the service is friendly and prompt. I highly recommend trying the scallop sushi.

Not bad at all with one or two dishes standing out well. The others were a bit average and borderline questionable hence the average review. Dishes to go for edamame, agedashe tofu. Miso soup. Plus points. Great for parking (after 630pm quiet area. Good service. Nice ambience.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Mai Sushi. The sushi, rolls, and sashimi were all fresh and delicious. The eggplant starter was particularly tasty. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was lively and relaxed. I would definitely return to this restaurant. View menu

I would come here every day if I lived in London. The best sushi I've had in Britain. When you walk in you immediately see the fresh fish on display and the traditional wok for frying tempura. We had the sashimi bento and the tempura bento. The salad was very nice, the miso soup had a lot of flavour and wasn't tight with the seaweed or tofu. Everything was amazing and very reasonably priced. Truly a hidden gem.

Interior really is very sparse- white walls, brown skirting, brown wooden tables and chairs- one can call it minimalistic. No plans wine- if it’s so popular: stock up! Prawn tempura was good. Aubergine- too sweet , average really. Katsu pork: average: batter too thick and the pork meat wasn’t dry. The inside out eel maki was good but was cold as waited for Katsu to be done to bring both dishes. Service was ok. Won’t be back!

There isn't much to report. We dined at Mai nine years ago, and by chance, we booked a hotel just around the corner this time. Our expectations were not high (you never know how things can change in nine years), but thankfully Mai Sushi is still a simple establishment with fantastic food. Don't anticipate an ornate interior, as that is not typical Japanese style. Just savor the exceptional dishes. A small suggestion to Mai: please ensure that your payment terminal can accept Maestro cards. After all, it is 2022. View menu
