A delightful treat, crispy on the outside, cool vanilla ice cream on the inside, drizzled with chocolate and topped with cherries.

"I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. We arrived with a reservation for 6 people at 7:30 pm and ordered drinks and food at the bar. However, when we sat down at our table at 9 pm, we had only received our drinks and no food. After inquiring, we were told by the waiter that our order had just gone through, meaning we had waited over an hour for our food. Some of the starters we received were stone cold, including pork ribs that were inedible. When we mentioned this to our waiter, there was no apology or offer to rectify the situation. The main courses were decent, but the evening had already been ruined. We even had to pay for additional drinks before they were served to us. There was no gesture of apology or reduction in price for the terrible starters. I will not be returning to this restaurant, as the staff clearly lack proper customer service skills. They were too preoccupied with menial tasks like folding napkins to realize that customers were waiting for their food, which the kitchen was unaware of."

"I've eaten an all decent Viet restaurants in London and used to love Viet Grill, but my last experience was my last, arrived Saturday at lunch time, not too busy but as only two of us, got sat at a table against wall in rear of restaurant, really? Meanwhile there is a lovely bank of seat long rear of restaurant vacant except setting up for the staff lunch. I did manage a better table but ordering and then long wait for food, meanwhile the staff table began to fill up with food. It was 13:30, think you need to pay attention to customers food first. Finally ordered the Pho, no salad/bean sprouts/greens came. When I paid for the bill, the young lady said I had to request this if I wanted it with the Pho. Seriously? So service has gotten really poor and I won't eat here anymore, go to Tay Do, much better service and less expensive"

"the restaurant was very quiet, but that was probably because of the time 5,30 pmder service was friendly. I had a starter that was delicious and a good size(for a starter) my pornstar was also of good size, but would have just a bit more beef, and less veg, but it was very delicious. the restaurant made 50 so that it was very good value for money the restaurant was a bit on the simple side nothing to smuggl, but I would go back evan it wasn't on a big thing"

"A real Thai food. I would recommend the fruity pineapple rice as they mix fry the rice so well that the rice can really bring the scent of pineapple exciting your taste buds. The easy-to-make garlic sauce vegetable is unexpectedly great, having every vegetable provided cooked to a perfect condition! Ahh the size is also of a good size! One dish is above an average Asian appetite!"

"tonight we celebrated our 45-year anniversary in this wonderful thai restaurant. the staff was friendly and friendly. the meal itself was wonderful. the most beautiful meal we had in a long time. everything was cooked to perfection. thanks for a wonderful evening."
"Underwhelming second time round. We first came back in 2020, and the food was authentic and flavours on point. It has been a talking point with my partner and we knew when we came back to Devon for our mini break away, we just had to come to the thai again, having had such good experience the last time. This time round, seems a massive drop in quality? The food tasted bland. And the prices aren’t cheap either. i don’t mind paying higher prices but I expect top notch food for it. Portion of rice very small, massaman was super runny, like they had watered it down to make more sauce but had diluted the flavour? Didnt feel authentic. No potatoes, no cashews or peanuts. Pad thai again didnt have much flavour to it. Satay barely tasted like peanuts. I looked at photos of the food from 2020 and it’s like they’ve either changed owners or the chef. Or maybe they’re just penny pinching on ingredients these days? If i could liken this meal to any song Shania Twain’s “that don’t impress me much!” comes to mind!!"
"This is a great Thai restaurant in the centre of Altrincham. The owner Joy is fabulous and goes out of her way to ensure you are enjoying the food and are happy with the service. Menu is great and bonus of a two course meal upto 7.30pm early in the week for £16.95. Food quality and presentation is excellent and I thoroughly recommend. Lovely waiter who is very efficient and friendly. Please give it a try. You won’t be disappointed. Great value for great food and service."

"Songkran are now on the 3rd lot of owners since lockdown and the new ones are excellent! The previous was a bit bland and before that was good, so bear this in mind when reading reviews below. I had green chicken curry with Jasmine rice on my first June visit (I always ask for less chicken and more vegetables) the flavours were amazing! We also had Garden rolls to share as a starter and the freshness of the herbs was obvious. I went again 13 days later and had the Chicken Larb salad with sticky rice; again the freshness of ingredients came through in spades! This was too much for me to eat in one sitting, so I took some home and it made a great addition to a salad a couple of days later We went again on Sunday and this time I had the Pad Thai (chicken) and shared spring roll starter. Whilst Pad Thai is not highly spiced, it had lovely flavour and the optional ground chillis combined with the peanuts to give another delicious meal. We will be going back!"

"overall a good experience, eating in was a little strange, as there was no environment music and it was quite easy to listen to other guests, phone calls and the personal discussed a failed delivery. the usual generic plinky plonky music would have been more relaxed. the food was nice, although the appetizers feel somewhat overpriced in comparison to the main, the garnish with the appetizers could be exchanged for a dressed minisalat without a big wall. price was generally appropriate"

"If you're looking for a good Vietnamese restaurant to go to in Central London this one is my favorite! Food is so good, but with service, expect it to be quite efficient. Everyone in your group has to be there before being seated as this is quite a popular place. They have a selection of Vietnamese noodles which are really good. The last time I went, I went for their starter platter to share and it was really really good! I loved all the sensational flavors and especially loved the summer spring rolls! I also had the fried ice cream for dessert for nostalgia sake (it was not as good as I had hoped it to be the skin was a bit too thick, and the ice cream was not a very good quality ice cream). Nonetheless, I enjoyed the food thoroughly! I highly recommend and would come back again myself!"

"Best Thai food I have had outside of Thailand! Set inside a traditional old building which has the look of a church inside and out. The restaurant has two floors, the downstairs being more intimate and the upstairs open and more spacious. We were welcomed by very friendly and attentive staff. The starters, main and dessert were fabulous. The Thai green curry and the Thai red curry were so flavoursome I could have ordered again, they were to die for.The restaurant got quite busy with nearly all tables filled but the staff still managed to get round everyone with a smile and helpful advice.I can't rate this lovely restaurant highly enough, I will definitely be back when I'm up in the Lakes again."

"it is a beautiful Vietnamese restaurant with various kitchens from noodles (aka pho) to rice and curries. they should try Vietnamese coffee if they have a sweet tooth: aromatic and sweet coffee. the only thing to be aware is to give them a ring before they go there, as sometimes it is closed, while google says it opens this day."

"Back in London and had to make the journey across town for a vegan roast! I had the Nut Roast and also tried the Beet Wellington, with Leek Gratin sides. The Beet Wellington was my fave, tasted amazing. Nut roast was a 3.5-4/5 (its cooked in a cabbage leaf so it's more of steamed nut roast). Thicker gravy please, would be I recommend the sticky toffee pudding vs the crumble"

"Having got back from three weeks in Thailand just one week before going here I can vouch for its authenticity! We had chicken satay, red curry, chilli and basil stir fry and of course papaya salad, spicy washed down with Chang beer and good value white wine. It was my birthday meal and they looked after us really well. Delicious food, friendly and helpful staff, and it was very busy so make sure you book. Food: 5"

"The taste is very bad. I ordered Sichuan Dandan noodles. Sichuan is a place that likes spicy food in China. Obviously, this store is not doing it right, because it tastes completely sweet. I told the waiter that it was more spicy when I ordered, because I like spicy food. But in fact, they didn't do that. I asked the waiter for chilli oil again, and I was told that there was a charge for chilli oil. It's really outrageous. In China, adding some chilli oil is completely free this is equivalent to asking the waiter for some ketchup in a western restaurant. How can this be charged? If the restaurant wants repeat customers, they should not do so. A bad night. It won't come again."

"There isn't much to report. We dined at Mai nine years ago, and by chance, we booked a hotel just around the corner this time. Our expectations were not high (you never know how things can change in nine years), but thankfully Mai Sushi is still a simple establishment with fantastic food. Don't anticipate an ornate interior, as that is not typical Japanese style. Just savor the exceptional dishes. A small suggestion to Mai: please ensure that your payment terminal can accept Maestro cards. After all, it is 2022."
"My partner booked this on a Groupon deal for my birthday meal . Never been before and was looking for a good Chinese restaurant in the area . We live in Rowlands Gill and so travelling to Blaydon isn't far . I must say I was pleasantly surprised the food was absolutely fabulous . I had for starters the salt and chilli spare ribs my partner had Tom Yum soup with king prawns the Maine's we had spicy chilli and garlic chicken beef and mushrooms with egg fried rice and chips. Well I didn't leave a drop . Really enjoyed this place and will definitely be back . They do take away folks so get yourself there very highly recommend"

"I was a bit skeptics about trying this place when my dad mentioned it. But there was no reason to be as it was really nice. It’s a mix of Turkish and Indian, so there’s something for everyone. The food was really tasty and granted, I’m a wimp when it’s comes to spicy food but the heating of medium is hot, so if you don’t like spice go for the medium. The decor in the restaurant is plain but it’s comfortable and the atmosphere is good. In my opinion the thing lacking here was the service. Granted the waiter and waitresses were very friendly and chatty. The food came out quick, but the service with clearing our table was slow and done in stages and when we asked for water, we were given a bottle with no glasses. So that let it down a bit unfortunately. Also they don’t serve alcohol just soft and hot drinks. But you’re welcome to bring in your own alcohol. Overall the food was tasty and a nice mix for everyone and reasonably priced, would definitely recommend."
