A delightful treat, crispy on the outside, cool vanilla ice cream on the inside, drizzled with chocolate and topped with cherries.

"I've eaten an all decent Viet restaurants in London and used to love Viet Grill, but my last experience was my last, arrived Saturday at lunch time, not too busy but as only two of us, got sat at a table against wall in rear of restaurant, really? Meanwhile there is a lovely bank of seat long rear of restaurant vacant except setting up for the staff lunch. I did manage a better table but ordering and then long wait for food, meanwhile the staff table began to fill up with food. It was 13:30, think you need to pay attention to customers food first. Finally ordered the Pho, no salad/bean sprouts/greens came. When I paid for the bill, the young lady said I had to request this if I wanted it with the Pho. Seriously? So service has gotten really poor and I won't eat here anymore, go to Tay Do, much better service and less expensive"

"Went with a friend who is vegetarian. The menu accommodated vegetarians too which is good. Place was nicely enough decorated on the inside. Food prices were okay. Had the dry noodles and found it was a a bit odd for them to not be served in a bowl because whenixing the ingredients together it kind of went everywhere. So not very practical albeit looked nice enough on the plates. The spring roll was also slightly overcooked. Otherwise was quiet when we arrived, bit busier after we left."

"In Preston Street, there is a Thai restaurant called Kanok Thai . Once we entered, we noticed a nauseating smell. A mix of foot stinks and humidity...but that wasn 't a problem. We asked the waitress for advice on some clarifications on the menu. She was flawless on the information given. Some were followed, others totally ignored. We ordered: 'Crispy noodle ' and 'Mushroom Sateh ' as starters, 'grill chicken ' and 'grill prawn ' as main course. The starters were good, but the main dish was so-so. A special mention for Anna who was very kind. Average food...unfortunately you can 't have everything in life Eh eh eh."

"I absolutely love this restaurant every time I visit Poole. It's a small establishment, so make sure to make a reservation in advance to avoid missing out. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is consistently excellent, always freshly prepared and packed with flavor. Booking a table ensures a leisurely dining experience without feeling rushed. I highly suggest trying the Chilli, Garlic and Basil Chicken stir fry, although every dish we've tried there has been fantastic. I'm already looking forward to my next visit."
"Set up an order to pick up at a certain time. Went to restaurant at exact time. Got told that order was meant to be picked up 40 minutes earlier. Had a call from Siam 30 minutes later than the time that they thought order should have been picked up. No care from management at Siam, it was a “computer says” moment. Food left on hot plate for 40 minutes. Food greasy, tasteless, over spiced. A poor and disgusting example of what the hospitality industry should be. The manager should have a review on how he deals with customers. I wouldn’t go back and would not recommend this place at all."
"Friendly service, albeit could be improved. Considering we were the only customers there, was pretty slow. Food was average, compared to other Thai places around the Alti/ Manchester area. I think it 's a reasonable eat if you 're craving Thai and happen to be around the corner but places like Try Thai in town are a few notches up. Perhaps I 'll give the ala carte a chance, places like these always serve a watered down version of their food for lunch menus but imho still no excuse."

"what a nice place to go for a meal. when they go into it feels inviting and the decor is simply beautiful. service was fast and informative about certain dishes and how to eat them. always checked to make sure we were in order and to top-up all drinks we needed. eating was some of the best thais I had for a long time. my seafood panang curry had a heat that built in the run of time, but was not exaggerated and the fragrant made my mouthwater with each spoon. all courts were well represented. the menu is extensive and of amazing quality, there is a story about the owner history that is a good read. all the elements on the menu have an allergy button that made there with a milk allergy very easy and easy to dinning. worth a visit. we are looking forward to our next visit."

"We have visited Doi Intanon a few times over the years during our numerous stays in Ambleside and have always been pleased. Unfortunately, we were disappointed on our last visit. We felt the portions were skimpy and we don't have particularly large appetites. We were happy with our starters but not the mains. The chicken massamam was watery, consisted of mainly potato with just a few scraps of chicken and the stir fried beef was very tough despite being thinly sliced. The portions of rice were miniscule, unacceptable at almost £5 a portion by the time they add a 10% service charge to customer bills. The service was as one would expect but we didn't appreciate being presented with our bill before we had asked for it. We won't come here again as we left feeling unhappy and a tad hungry despite paying 30£ a head for a starter, main and a small beer each."

"overall a good experience, eating in was a little strange, as there was no environment music and it was quite easy to listen to other guests, phone calls and the personal discussed a failed delivery. the usual generic plinky plonky music would have been more relaxed. the food was nice, although the appetizers feel somewhat overpriced in comparison to the main, the garnish with the appetizers could be exchanged for a dressed minisalat without a big wall. price was generally appropriate"

"Excellent meal with 2 friends on a stormy Saturday evening. Town was quiet, but Thai Rice was bustling and now I know why. Extra friendly service, quality ingredients and cooking and the presentation was spot on. Well priced bottles of Singha Beer £3.25) helped the meal along nicely. The restaurant is very attractive inside and had a really nice atmosphere. My seafood salad was terrific and yes, spicy) with plenty of king prawns, mussels and squid combining well with crunchy salad and vegetables. Thank Buddha for Thai Rice restaurant."

"This hidden gem may not look like much from the outside and has simple interiors similar to a Vietnamese café, but it serves some of the best food I've had in a long time. The dishes are presented in a minimalist way with vibrant colors and scents that make you eager to dig in, which is a good excuse for the lack of photos. My friends and I had a delightful meal sharing summer rolls, crispy spring rolls, bbq satay chicken baguette, chicken and prawn omelet, seafood pho, stir-fried lamb with peanuts dressing, chicken satay with rice noodles, spicy seafood noodles, ginger and tofu in coconut milk, and Vietnamese coffee. We had to take a long walk afterwards to burn off the delicious meal, but it was totally worth it. My personal favorites were the crispy rolls, baguette, and lamb, although I can't stop thinking about the scallops in the seafood noodles. The prices are reasonable, but be aware that the dinner menu is served at lunchtime on weekends and is a bit more expensive. The staff is efficient and friendly, and the relaxed café-style vibe is perfect for a quick bite and some indulgence."

"Just returned from a fabulous meal. All the staff made you feel welcome from walking through the door to when you leave. We went for a family meal myself, husband, daughter (1 year old) and my parents. We were all impressed with the amount of choice on the menu. The dry house white was really lovely we could’ve had another bottle easily. The men were happy with the choices of beer on offer. Little one enjoyed sitting in the high chair and sampling some of our food. From the starters to the puddings we all agreed that the food was really good and wouldn’t think twice about returning. This may have been our first visit but will certainly not be our last!!"

"This place is an absolute diamond and well worth a visit. The staff (Annie and the other super young lady) were required to help me out after an unfortunate incident involving myself and some medical incident that befell me in the restaurant. Annie took care of me and called an ambulance and the other young lady went to get the local defibrillator in the pouring rain for me at Annie's behest. Luckily the defib wasn't required but the gash on my head required direct pressure for over an hour, something that Annie did perfectly until I could get to hospital. The food and service are second to none make sure this place is on your itinerary when you visit Great Yarmouth"

"We visited this restaurant on a Sunday in search of a Thai meal, as other nearby restaurants didn't open early. The restaurant was charming and clean, and it wasn't too busy. We had the option of choosing from a set menu or ordering individual dishes, and we both opted for the set menu. The meal included tom yum mushroom soup, spring rolls, chicken bites, and sweetcorn cakes, all of which were delicious for the price. The chicken red curry we ordered could have used a bit more spice, but it was still tasty. The beef dish was also enjoyable, and we had egg rice and chips since noodles were not available. We ended the meal with a delightful chocolate cake. One of the highlights was the draft Singha beer, although my husband couldn't enjoy it as he had to drive."

"I recently returned to London and made the trip to a restaurant across town for a vegan roast. I ordered the Nut Roast and also tried the Beet Wellington, along with the Leek Gratin sides. My favorite was the Beet Wellington, it tasted delicious. The Nut Roast was decent, I would rate it a 3.5-4 out of 5 (it's cooked in a cabbage leaf so it's more of a steamed nut roast). I would suggest a thicker gravy. I recommend trying the sticky toffee pudding over the crumble."

"I initially thought most of the vegetarian items were actually vegetarian and even vegan. Now the restaurant after I've been eating there for years, has created an allergy list. It shows they use prawn paste in the red and green curry. If you go, make sure to specify: no fish sauce, no oyster sauce, no prawn and no crustaceans. A shame I never asked about prawn but only fish oyster and crustaceans : ."

"Very good genuine Chinese food if you use the Chinese menu rather than the Western menu. My Chinese wife rated it highly, and as someone that has been to China a dozen times I also enjoyed it. My only issue would be the initial attitude we got when booking our party had 3 kids and they were very keen to get us in and out early when I called to make a reservation (told me we had to be done by 7pm), but were much nicer when we turned up and they realized my wife was Chinese. Considering late evening family style dining is normal in China, it would be nice to bring some of that culture to the UK instead of pandering to the local rednecks who think kids shouldn't be allowed near a restaurant until they're 16"

"This restaurant doesn't look attractive from the outside. Inside, the green paint on the walls looks like a green background for video editing. But dare to enter this restaurant. The menu is extensive and the food is excellent. The service too. Little discovery of the day."
