"Today we went at 5.30pm to the Siam, it was our second choice as the Shippons was full all evening. When we arrived there was no one there, we ordered of the menu as they had stopped serving all you can eat for £20 a head. We both ordered hot prawn soup, it was spiced milk with 4 prawns in each at £6.50 each, there was no complimentary prawn crackers at this very inflated price and it was in a small bowl at £13 for two bowls it was absolutely yuk. We explained to the young waiter that the flavour was not nice and he obviously relayed this back to the manager who basically did not care. No alternative was offered. We had already ordered our main meals which where where beef in black bean £9.70 and my other half ordered beef schezuan £17 we then had to order rice for £3.20 a portion as it came with no rice so one meal was exceeding £20!! Other was approx £13 plus. Well it was smaller than a child's portion and total bill for food was just below £50. The manager did not remove the soups nor did he apologise, for portion size. We both left and came home for something to eat. due to minimum portions, on leaving I explained the above and the manager stood back whilst his smarmy cashier took the money. We paid and explained we won't be going back, we now know why the resteraunt was still empty at 8pm but the shippons was full all evening. Siam you will be closed soon unless you get a grip £20 for a meal that we could have got from a takeaway and would have done two off us for £6. Your arrogance shrines out brightly."

We had a lovely meal at Siam, the service was excellent, and the food was lovely, would definitely recommend the Chicken Yellow Curry for anyone who's not keen on spicy food.

I made a reservation for 7:30pm on Saturday evening. However, a large party arrived after us and we were made to feel like we were in the way. Our meal was rushed and the waitress was very unfriendly. The rice was heavy and the main course was lukewarm, as if it had been sitting out for a while. When we expressed our concerns upon leaving, the staff seemed disinterested and simply shrugged their shoulders. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

I don’t think I’ve left a review before but I’m doing this so the owners take notice and hopefully improve and then they will have happier customers. I’ve just spent £62 on food that tastes of nothing but rubber. I got the most tasteless food I’ve ever eaten. I love Thai food normally but this was not Thai food. It was so bland I don’t understand. The tapas and the starters are awful. First Restraunt I never left a tip. Honestly i can’t express enough how tasteless and buy the way not cheap this restaurant is

we arrived at half six and had a lovely pint or two of Singha cold lager. The starters were served very promptly and we enjoyed the chicken wings , ribs and duck. the mains were arriving too and all was delicious. The special(70) was pork belly with chilli. it was served with jasmin rice and the other thai green curry and lamb dishes served with coconut rice. We concluded with icecream for the kid and the mango and coconut rice pudding. A cocktail was also consumed enthusiastically and a couple more cool beers rounded off a lovely evening. Do visit, the service is outstanding from Pinet the waiter and all in all a lovely evening with real authentic Thai food and music too. View menu

I am always eager to try Thai food, so when I heard about a new addition to the street food menu at this restaurant, along with the return of a seasonal favorite dessert, I knew I had to plan a night out. The staff greeted us warmly and provided attentive service. I ordered the newly added char siu pork and rice dish and was impressed with the presentation. The flavors were perfectly balanced and the pickled ginger added a subtle yet special fragrance to the dish. The quality of the meat was exceptional and it was evident that it was prepared with care. For dessert, I indulged in the mango and coconut rice, which was the main reason for my visit. Let's just say, I will definitely be returnin...

We visited this restaurant on a Sunday in search of a Thai meal, as other nearby restaurants didn't open early. The restaurant was charming and clean, and it wasn't too busy. We had the option of choosing from a set menu or ordering individual dishes, and we both opted for the set menu. The meal included tom yum mushroom soup, spring rolls, chicken bites, and sweetcorn cakes, all of which were delicious for the price. The chicken red curry we ordered could have used a bit more spice, but it was still tasty. The beef dish was also enjoyable, and we had egg rice and chips since noodles were not available. We ended the meal with a delightful chocolate cake. One of the highlights was the draft S...
