"I wrote a fab review after a great takeaway in August. We had another in September. It was not good, Monday evening order. Not always the best day of the week to order. We didn 't want to negatively review just one of those things. Ordered last night. 2 Poppadoms with a sad few slices of wet lettuce, one slice of cucumber, one eighth of a tomato, no onion. We had to chop our own. Onion bahjis were a no show. Phoned that they 'd been missed, we had no starter. We 'll refund you ? Oh, thanks!!! That really does complete the meal experience. Main curry dish was OK, but lacking, severely lacking in taste or care. Sorry, we 've given you two chances after a great experience we 'll buy elsewhere."

We were a table of 3 on a Thursday evening. The restaurant was busy but service was excellent. We chose a selection of starters and mains with rices and naan to share. Food was very fresh and delicious with high quality ingredients The curries tasted very different from each other and all were amazing. Including drinks the bill came to less than £80. Would highly recommend

This is an excellent Curry House. Recently visited with a group of friends. We all enjoyed our selection of curry, rice, nan breads raita etc. Everything was well prepared and presented by the friendly efficient staff. At the end of the meal we all agreed the food was excellent and the cost very reasonable. Toilets were also exceptionally clean. We will be going there again soon!

Meal for two here. Warm welcome. Lovely view of Parkgate front from our table. Service excellent, as we are not that experienced in Indian food our waiter took time to explain each dish. Service was just right level not too fast and not too slow. Food was delicious and plentiful. Not rushed to leave after finishing meal. Overall I thought it was very good value. Drinks starters, main, rice and naan came to £45. Will certainly visit again. View menu

We were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of food and the attentive, friendly staff. The onion bhajees were served with a crisp salad and both were of a high standard. We opted for mains Pasanda Nawabi Chicken and Chicken Makhani. If you like your curries to be flavoursome rather than spicy hot these are a great option. We also chose the onion fried rice and this made a tasty change from the usual pilau rice. The restaurant was quite full at about 7 p.m. on a Thursday evening. The decoration is clean and modern and we would definitely enjoy eating there again.

Called in for a meal with three friends in October 2023. We hadn’t booked and were greeted with a warm welcome from the staff, and the restaurant was clean and nicely laid out. Menu was as you’d expect and the staff were very helpful in advising on house specials and particular flavours. I’m not a massive curry fan and so I always go for the chicken dupiaza whenever in a curry house, so I can compare exactly between venues; and this was excellent quality. All of the meals were very tasty and a good portion size – no complaints whatsoever. Would highly recommend, and would be more than happy to visit again.

"My friend booked for us to have a meal at Elephant Bank, Neston on Sat night. She asked on phoning was there Vegan option S and was told yes... We hadn 't realised that there are no pizzas on menu anymore, so the painted mural of girl holding a pizza on outside wall led us us believe it still had pizza 's on the menu inside. Although only 1 Vegan Vegetarian option, not options!... I was looking forward to my ordered Vegan burger. The burger on it 's own was £9 and just that a burger on a bun with a 1 4 teaspoon of very sour cabbage with something yellow also very sour thinly spread on back of bun.... that was it??? Not a bit of salad or garnish. We chose chips, again paid extra.... ordered one 's with rosemary on but got but the black pepper one 's. We did expect chunky crispy home made chips, not bought in skinny frozen one 's, which weren 't even crisp or fully cooked, just white and very soggy, also the burger served on a side dish and skinny fries in a pudding bowl? As a regular very satisfied customer of Marino Lounge in New Brighton, Elephant should look into their burger menu...they offer plenty of meat chargrilled smoked etc, on menu but with a wide selection of Vegan Vegetarian options also, and definitely be offering home made chips for the price Elephant are asking, even crispy ones, not just limp white sticks of half cooked soggy potato. Also an adult sized plate would be appreciated.... The burger wasn 't great and the cost was ridiculous for what it was. We hadn 't expected the huge TV screens either. It 's more a sports bar, with whole menu BBQ 'd or smoked meals.... Obviously not the kind of place a Vegan or a Vegetarian would want to go into, but when a friend is paying as a treat, and she presumed the menu would be a lot bigger and told Vegan options , that was the only reason I never complained to manager. and my friend looked so embaressed already I didn 't want to take it further, and my friend only ate 1 chip, I didn 't want her to feel any more embarrassed by her poor choice of venue. 1 Vegan choice is not choices , it was an overpriced meatless burger on a bun that or nothing else on menu available The young girl serving was pleasant, but I wouldn 't return. I heard good things about Elephant Bank whilst a pizzeria and an Italian themed menu. With all the emphasis on char grilled smokedhouse meat I feel it is only serving a small minority of people, and with a very restricted small menu. hence place seemed to be full of only young lads watching the football. What a shame the menu has changed to this. Not very inclusive, and expensive for what you get compared with other places, and please offer fresh cut chips or wedges that aren 't so anaemic and also bought in frozen.... At those prices you don 't expect frozen skinny chips (even undercooked one 's!"
