"The food and service at this restaurant were excellent, especially from our server Franco. The pani puri was one of the best I have had in the UK, and the chaats and main courses were absolutely delicious. The only disappointment was the Masala Chai, which was not made in the traditional way. The total cost was very reasonable, making it a great option for affordable and high-quality Indian food. We dined in for dinner."

"This was a last minute booking so didn't have time to research other reviews, but I wish I did. The food was awful! Had to send back the cod fish balls due to one being cremated. We were met with disdain when explaining that we could not eat it. The goat was tough and undercooked with no gravy it was basically soup. The service was awful apart from the bartender. We walked out feeling robbed as the prices are astronomical compared to the portion sizes and quality. Will never return"

"I absolutely adore the Bombay Chilli Mock Chicken made spicy, it’s INCREDIBLE. The popcorn cauliflower is also very delicious with incredible and intense flavor coming from the dip. I always order these two items. On this occasion I also ordered the spicy fried vegetables, but I honestly felt these were very similar in flavor to the chili mock chicken. It was really hard to discern the difference between the two. Moreover, I couldn’t tell where the vegetables were because it seemed like more of a mock meat dish. Finally, during this visit we ordered the Momo and we hated it. So, I would not recommend ordering that. In general the food is usually delicious here. Be sure to ask for the separate vegan menu. "Food was wonderful but it was 20 minutes before anyone approached our table we were just about to leave when someone finally asked if we’d like something to drink.After we finally ordered food it was another 30 minutes before we saw our starters and then another 20 minutes before we saw our main courses. We understand restaurants are having trouble finding staff,but this restaurant really needs to get more staff as soon as they can.The saving grace was the food was excellent."

I consider £9.99 for vegetable jalfrazi and £10.99 for a vegetable biryiana a little too much, but it did taste good. "The Glad Cafe is always fantastic for some drinks and live music however my girlfriend and I decided to try the food .... Very tasty indeed . The Glad has a nice tapas style vegan menu with some great dishes . We opted for five dishes and we were stuffed . Our favourite dish was the jackfruit curry as it was delicious . Would recommend this lovely place for a drink or bite to eat as you can sit and relax or take in a gig whatever is your preference ."

"I went to birthday with 8 family members there on Friday. andrew had created a beautiful space for us that respects the social distance. it was just a very special evening. pam is an amazing cook and we had a lot of dressed, all excellent. my family wanted to take me to a chic steak place, but I chose kaiteur kitchen and what a brilliant choice that was. I may be biased, but the Guyan cuisine has the most sorts in the Caribbean (the best tasting also to do with the fusion of foods of 6 different ethnic groups and on the South American mainland) and and andrew and pam reflect this in what they serve. it was like my mother's kitchen. everything is made by scratches also the sauces and the black pudding. I must not forget to mention that they also serve el dorado around. the best of the world. best Caribbean restaurant in london also very clean and hygienic. thank you andrew and pam!"
