"The food was great but when we arrived they had no record of our reservation. When they eventually sat us, we were then ignored for 30 mins before someone finally took our order. Then the food came out basically one thing at a time. They also forgot to bring us some of the food we ordered and we had to ask them where it was multiple times, before someone finally brought it to us. Also it was difficult to get any drinks after our initial order because it was difficult to get the attention of any of the staff. Our reservation was meant to be at 8pm. We didn't receive any food until about 9.15pm and we did not finish eating until about 10.30. This was much too late and we were all pretty tired by the time we finally got back. As I said the food was great, and I have eaten in this restaurant before without any problems, I'm not sure why it was so difficult this time."

Great Place for Singaporean Malaysian meals in the Kensington Area. After living in Singapore for 5 years in the late 90's this is the first authentic Singaporean food we have found. I highly recommend it if you are in the area.

We were there for lunch on New Year’s Eve. Not many people there when we were there. Food was amazing. Service was good. I was a bit disappointed by decoration in the dining area it felt flat and no festive atmosphere. They should have made it more special for the season

Have been there quite a few times but went recently for after they have done some upgrades to their menu and whole restaurant. Overall very good, the restaurant was a bit more refreshed and i love the green chairs and chopsticks. We had their signature dishes Hainan Chicken Rice the chicken was moist, Kway Teow with Beef was well done and beef was very good. Stir Fried Okra Blachan. Sago Gula Melaka was TOP Notch if you know what that is .. it is a sago pudding and amazing (less sweet than what you get in Singapore which is even better) .. I went on a Monday and it was pretty full so that was a good sign. !

We went to Bugis street more than 10 years ago and must admit our recent visit was a bit let down. Overall, the experience was very mixed. My wife is from Penang, Malaysia living in UK and we found the signature dishes very authentic. The Penang Char Keow Teow is just mouth watering and so were the other dishes. However, some of desserts were baffling....chocolate lava cake served with strawberry ice cream, banana fritters served with (again! strawberry ice cream. No mention of the ice cream flavour in the menu nor mentioned by the server if vanilla ice cream were out. But no chef in his right mind would be serving these combo! Like the food, service was very mixed too. Some staff were very...
