"While in Moreton for work, I discovered that Raj Mahal was conveniently located near my hotel with a quick Google search. The staff guided me upstairs and despite being busy, I had the option to choose a table. I was promptly given a menu and placed my drink order. There was a slight delay (about 20 minutes) before my food order was taken, but the staff were apologetic as they were clearly busy serving other customers, making drinks, and taking phone orders. The menu offered a variety of delicious options at a reasonable price, and my food arrived hot and tasty. I definitely plan on returning as a customer! After my meal, I was provided with a complimentary hot towel and shot of spirits. The staff was attentive and friendly, and despite their suggestion not to leave a tip because of the delay in taking my food order, I felt that my overall experience deserved one. I highly recommend Raj Mahal for anyone looking for great food in the area."

"What an incredible experience, we went to the Teppanyaki dinner with 2 other couples so we made up half the table but there were couples as well all sat on a large square horseshoe table, if that makes sense, with a chef in the centre cooking on a large grill. You ordered exactly what you wanted and the accuracy and quality of cooking was amazing. Add the theatre of the chef with his comedy antics and juggling skills including audience participation made it a dining experience second to none. If you want a romantic quiet dinner, its not the place but if you want a unique dining experience with high quality food and wine then give it a go, you won't regret it."

"My partner and I recently visited Edinburgh for a short break and decided to try out Thai 2 Go Street Food after finding it on Google Maps while searching for Asian cuisine. After a quick 10-minute bike ride from our hotel, we arrived at the restaurant and placed our order to go. The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered a red tofu curry while my partner opted for the pad thai with shrimp. We also enjoyed some pak choi and jasmine rice on the side. The flavors were authentic and reminded us of our time spent in Thailand. The staff were also very friendly and made our experience even more enjoyable. We will definitely be returning to Thai 2 Go Street Food in the future!"

"This is probably the best Indian food I have ever tasted. The menu is amazing and all the dishes are cooked to perfection. The service was excellent and the restaurant has a very spacious and fabulous atmosphere. There are many dishes offered that you wouldn't typically find on a menu, in addition to the traditional ones. I can't fault this place at all!"

"An Honest Review: Ordered on Ubereats: Chicken biryani tasted OK, nothing special. It had WAY TOO MUCH OIL. I 've never seen a biryani this oily. Supplementary curry sauce was a nice suprise. It was creamy and hot. Tasted good. Pilau rice was hard and probably undercooked? Not good. Chicken tikka starter (like many have already mentioned) was like EATING ROCKS! So dry! I could probably smash a window if I threw one at it. Raita sauce was nice but a bit watery. Overall, disappointing. Best: supplementary curry sauce. Worst: chicken tikka. Might try a chef 's special next time. Hopefully an improvement "

"Very disappointed, their 'Fried Chicken ': Served with french fries, peas, tomatoes mushroom came as just chips and dry fried chicken. When I immediately called them to bring it up they said they would give me something extra free on my next order. This is presuming I 'm going to give them another order having not given me what I paid for on this order, and also, not actually promising me anything extra, as I paid for it this order! Perhaps this is because I didn 't order through just-eat as I know just-eat take a cut, however having signed up for their website I now regret it, and am having second thoughts about ordering from them again. Had I ordered through just-eat I would also have left them a disappointed review there."

"This is a real little gem of a place. We went in early evening when not many customers were in so can't really comment on the atmosphere but the food was excellent and the staff attentive. We had the buffet which consisted of 5 or 6 different starters and about 10 curries to try. The Lamb Achari and the Beef Jalfrezi were outstanding with succulent pieces of tender meat in tasty, spicy sauces. I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant and hope to return before my stay in Glasgow is over."

"We ordered a chicken burger and lamb burger meal. Chicken was like pure plastic and no flavor. My boyfriend wasn't able to eat more than a quarter of that chicken burger. Lamb burger was kinda ok but the caramelized onions on top were bitter. Curly fries weren't crunchy at all, it was like eating old people food, really flabby, and I paid 1£ extra for them . We also ordered a Ferrero Rocher milkashake. It didn't taste at all of that, it was super sweet white chocolate taste but at least was the only thing we were able to finish. I really don't understand all the good reviews. I eat in other burger places on a budget much much better than this. Cmon people!"

"1) environment (0.25/1) interesting decoration (small pot plants along the wall.) however the kitchen directly at the entrance makes the place a little conjusted look also the seats (single) can be made more comfortable 2) eating (0.75/1) the fishcakes were really tasteful, but were fried. their spring rollers were seen twice as large as the normal at other places. the vegetarian tofu pad thai was something my friend totally loved. I also enjoyed my thai curry (padped) with jasminreis. very generous portions and we loved the touch of their crushed earthen nuts together with the net! 3) service (0.25/1) service was fast, but a big part was that * they did not accept card...more"

"We booked this restaurant for pre-theatre as it was ver close to the Kit Kat Club at the Playhouse and seemed reasonably priced. So happy we did! It’s a very small place and at the start at 17:30 was almost empty, but got filled up very quickly. The service was prompt and friendly and the food simply delicious. Summer rolls and prawns, Cha Ca fish and prawn and aubergine clay pot were all very tasty. Thanks a lot! Good value!"

"after 45 minutes still had not received food or drink (coke nothing fancy) whilst all tables around had received food and drink even though we ordered way before them. Had to get up and remind the waiter of our existence. We then got our drinks and 1 item of food .. they then bring us the wrong meal and claim they had a technical issue and had to retake our order after 1 hour. We order our dessert as well so they have time to get this sorted. Whilst waiting for our food still they decide to bring us 1 dessert which we send back. They then tell us our order which I placed over an hour ago is actually out of stock. I say can we just have dessert so we can leave. They come back and say the dessert is out of stock. Terrible experience. The two starters we had where nice. They had to nerve to come over and ask how our meal was whilst we ate chicken wings. Left hungry !"

"I have order £30 worth of curry’s to night as has had family over. All curry’s was very basic and bland no favour what so ever I had four pieces of tiny mutton in mine. Also all curry’s was lay in loads of water so rice got soaked up with all the rice so just looked and tasted horrible. Never had bad experience in past orders. But really unhappy with fact was not will to compromise with some form of refund there answer was that’s wat u get with just ordering a curry. Well I’m sorry but i always order this curry and never lay in so much water and tasted so bland. Unacceptable to be honest and so up setting fact there not willing to compromise after I’ve wasted £30 as it’s all gone in the bin.......!!"
"Went there for dinner on Wednesday evening there was only one other table being used a dad and his two children . It was a banquet night for £14.95 for any starter excluding fish and prawn dishes any main except fish and prawn you pay £2.50 extra on starters for any of those dishes and £3.50 on mains, and any side dish and any rice or a naan each. I had a mixed starter and my wife had chicken chat both nice the mains she had mixed grill but it came with king prawns we don't know how many 1 or 2 but they wanted to charge me £3.50 for the dish just coming with a couple of prawns rather than a whole king prawn dish unbelievable but hey he said he would do it without king prawn so that's what she had expensive for what she got. I had a chicken tikka dansak it was ok not the best and we shared a mushroom rice and a keema naan which I sent back as there was no meat in it that I could see and all soggy and oily on top ,which they did a new one ,better. Pint of cobra each job done it was ok wouldn't go back even for their banquet night but try it for yourselves."

"We ordered takeout from this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by how quickly our food was ready on a busy Friday night. The restaurant was nearly full, which indicated to us that it was a popular spot for dining. Our meal was delicious and the service was friendly. I highly recommend trying the lamb rogan josh. We will definitely be returning to dine in again."

"we decided to share some pages: tempoura garnel, sweet rolls and Satay chicken. the king prawns were slender and slightly coated in the tempura lightbatter. a soy-and-wasabi-dipping sauce was the perfect companion to the four garnels. the mini spring rolls came in a part of six. They were deep fried, but not fat. simply beautiful and crispy with a delicious carrot and cauliflower. they were served with sweet chilli dip. the satay huh, marinated and on spits, came with a spicy erdnuss sauce that was absolutely delicious."
