"Lunch with my partner, as an end of the week treat for us both on a freezing cold day in February. We hurried to the wine bar, looking for a warm greeting (in every sense) but noted that it was quite cold on arrival. We were eating early, so put it down to recent opening for service. The wine, available by the glass was superb and the selection of small plates tasty and offered good variety. However, the experience was ruined because it was so very cold throughout. There is a wall mounted heater/air conditioner but it seemed to be switched off. Mentioned the temperature to the waiter who said its warmer in the evening when there are more people . Astounding comment as with only the 10 tables it WAS full at lunchtime. Disappointing and though I will go again, I will wait until summer time."

"My mother and I stayed in a nearby hotel and we just happen to stumble across Art Yard Bar and Kitchen whilst looking for a suitable place to have breakfast. I have to say what a find!! A really hidden gem. I had the breakfast buffet option which is a help yourself to the breakfast from the hotel. Food was delicious, juices and coffee were fresh and the service was excellent. The interior is very stylish and we felt right at home! We enjoyed our experience so much that we had to return the following morning for another go! We had the same menu option as the previous day and enjoyed it just as much. The staff were so sweet and helpful to find us a table, especially Jamie who was a really sweetheart! If you're looking for a nice place for breakfast to get your day off to the right start then i cannot recommend Art Yard Bar and Kitchen enough and we can't wait to go back!
