"We've been to Bibis often over the years. Our most recent visit was really disappointing. We arrived a little early, probably 8 mins or so and we're told they weren't ready for us (the restaurant was half full) and directed to wait outside in the cold. The table we sat at had a view right into the kitchen. The chefs spoke loudly the whole time we were there including a discussion about a bleeding wound that required stitches! Not what you want to hear while eating your meal. Our drinks were warm and the margaritas are not what they used to be. The waitress leaned over our table to light candles on a shelf above us while we were eating our main course. It was very awkward. The waitress and chef had a disagreement about who was passing by the tables in the very small space. Again very awkward right beside our table. The food was bland and far from the flavoursome Mexican tastes we'd experienced at Bibis in the past. No guacamole, tortilla chips or salsa with any courses. Every single plate that arrived had a handful of rocket on the plate as the side. The chicken in the chicken quesadillas was hard to find. The fish tacos had no flavour and the smallest piece of fish in each. It was so disappointing. Unfortunately, we won't be back."
