"So last night we ordered from Milano pizza on Ormskirk road. Ordered food at 7.15, told it would be no later than 50 minutes. Called back at 8.20 and they said it would be 10 minutes and that they were busy. We were promised two free cans of Pepsi for the delay. Food arrived cold at 8.55, they sent one can of Pepsi not two and they had the nerve to charge us for the Pepsi they'd said would be free! Upon closer inspection half of the order was missing, chips were cold and soggy, the chicken tandoori kebab was burnt and had brown wilted lettuce on it and the garlic bread was freezing. When we rang to complain the person answering the phone had the nerve to say our order hadn't even been delivered yet! They sent us more chips the missing food, and when Matt gave the cold food back to their delivery driver the bloke threw it all over the road in front of our house, and the receipt from our order was with the rubbish so they can't even deny that they did it! Won't ever be ordering from them again"

"Good selection on the menu. For starters we had the celeriac and the scallop, for mains the hanging seafood skewer and the muscles. All were very well done. Not exceptional but very good. No complaints about any of the food. We shared a cheese board, only comment would be there could have been a tad more cheese, though this is a pretty common issue with restaurant cheese boards. The wine choice was also good, and lots of choices of good wines by the glass. Service was very friendly, nicely informal. Didn't feel rushed, we were seated for a tad over 2 hours for 3 courses. Positive feedback for the toilets, very clean!! The aspect we scored least was value. Not really specific to On The Quay, but generally we've noticed how much more it costs for a 3 course meal with drinks. All in all a very pleasant evening."

"I recently visited Billion Doner Kebab and I cannot say enough about the amazing staff. They were super friendly and the customer service was top-notch. The venue itself was also impressive, with a well-maintained restaurant setting and convenient parking. I loved the variety on the menu - it was perfect for picky eaters like myself. "The food and service was outstanding at the Leven Hotel, unfortunately it was greatly let down by people visiting the bar and been allowed to walk through the dining room without any masks on during Covid, the staff and duty manager didn't address or stop anyone entering the bar, we were asked to use the track and trace on entry but not the people using the bar, the duty manager just shrugged his shoulders, there were other diners complaining about the same issue. There must have been at least twenty people walking to and from the bar through a busy dining area without a mask on. To say we were very dissatisfied and disappointed is an understatement, the reason we were there was to find a venue for our upcoming wedding, the reviews on their website and trust pilot were really encouraging, however I would not even return to have another meal or drink let alone book our wedding there when a simple request like ensuring masks are worn during a pandemic are not adhered to. Shame on you Leven Hotel Stokesley, no wonder the pandemic isn't going away when you ignore the government guidelines and you would be the first to moan if you had to Close due to High Covid Levels going into a lock down, I will not be recommending your Hotel to anyone in fact I would advise people to stay away and give you a wide berth."

"We ordered two halloumi starters and shared a nacho starter. The portions were disappointing, especially the halloumi which was served on tin dishes. For mains, two of us had the rump steak which was undercooked and difficult to cut. The fries resembled those from McDonald's. One person had the burrito which was decent, while another had the prawns which were not well presented. We decided to skip dessert as we felt it was overpriced for the quality of food we received. Overall, the experience was disappointing considering the price we paid."
