"So last night we ordered from Milano pizza on Ormskirk road. Ordered food at 7.15, told it would be no later than 50 minutes. Called back at 8.20 and they said it would be 10 minutes and that they were busy. We were promised two free cans of Pepsi for the delay. Food arrived cold at 8.55, they sent one can of Pepsi not two and they had the nerve to charge us for the Pepsi they'd said would be free! Upon closer inspection half of the order was missing, chips were cold and soggy, the chicken tandoori kebab was burnt and had brown wilted lettuce on it and the garlic bread was freezing. When we rang to complain the person answering the phone had the nerve to say our order hadn't even been delivered yet! They sent us more chips the missing food, and when Matt gave the cold food back to their delivery driver the bloke threw it all over the road in front of our house, and the receipt from our order was with the rubbish so they can't even deny that they did it! Won't ever be ordering from them again"

Late, missing food and over priced! I wouldn't go here again even if the food they had given me was for free. They lack majorly on customer service skills.

Ordered chips and Kebab meat with chilli sauce, you would think nobody could get this wrong. YOU WOULD BE WRONG!!!!! Absolutely awful never order from this place again if I could have rated it zreo I would .

Ordered 3 large pitta chicken and lamb full salad chilli and sweetcorn sauce absolutely delicious I collected it ordered on line 30mins it was ready with a free garlic bread ...less than 17 quid bargain .... good meat not chewy or anything

I ordered food at this restaurant and waited for a while, but the wrong food came. I asked for a refund but the phone call got cut off. I tried calling again but there was no answer. I have been waiting for someone to call me back for a while now.

We have tried Milano take away in Pemberton for the second time now. Unfortunately, both times our food was delivered and served promptly but was lukewarm, almost cold. When I called the restaurant to address the issue, they offered no apology or resolution. I will not be ordering from them again and definitely cannot recommend them.

I ordered delivery through JustEat to a hotel nearby. The food arrived 30 minutes late (90 minutes after ordering), even though the takeaway was only a mile away! The driver did not follow the instructions on the order and left the food with reception. The garlic bread had no flavor and felt like eating polystyrene. The pizza was burnt, lukewarm, and of very poor quality.

Wow ..not was I was expecting at all ..food was hot but not as I would like it, So 2mins microwave and Hay presto..my hot Donna meat chips and salad was amazing hot sauce just what o had askd for..hubby's kebab was just as good ..cheese garlic bread to die for..normally my leftovers is 3/4 ..today I finished the whole lot and enjoyed every mouthful..Again thank you ..I had all but lost faith in kebab take aways x see you next week

"Fabulous little cafe. Went on a Friday evening, did book but there were a couple of tables free during the evening. Lovely lady called sue the owner and chef. Sue will talk you through the menu vegetarian or vegan and gluten free. So much to choose from. Variety of teas too. No alcohol is sold on the premises,you can take your own. Can park outside on the street, spaces are limited. Lovely vibe to the place. Not open every evening, also do take away. Had the Chinese fritters so filling and delicious, you will not leave feeling hungry at all. I myself am a meat eater and I will be definitely returning."

"the baked alaska wasn't baked it just poured flat onto the plate the outer mixture was scorched with a blow torch but when this outer skin was removed the rest couldn't stay in place .... it was definitely not baked meringue but...uncooked white mixture, what a shame asked specially for a window seat when booking and i even emailed several times to check this was ok but on arrival was told my party wasn't big enough and that a bigger party was paying more so they got the window seat pity they couldn't have told the truth a lot earlier in a reply to my email ad telephone call. The waitress also picked up my bill when I had paid by card so I had no proof of what I had eaten. I couldn't therefore check if I had paid for two meals with two course charge or for four separate courses as the bill reached over £60"

"After reading the reviews we was really looking forward to eating here ,however it turned out to be the worst tapas and worst service we have ever received . After waiting 10 minutes for someone to take our drinks order we then waited a further 30 mins to be served with what can only be described as toast with tasteless mushed up tomatoes on , this was inedible and hardly touched , a further 20 minutes on and we was served a single dish of chicken between two of us again this was very bland and resembled nothing like a original tapas dish more like a chicken korma again this was hardly touched . When I enquired as to where the rest of the food was I was told they was very busy . With this we decided to cut our loses and asked for the bill . Before leaving we tried to have a conversation with the manager who is also the chef to give some honest feedback ,however he wasn’t open to listening , he’s response was “it’s normal in a tapas restaurant to receive one dish at a time between two with a large gap between dishes wasn’t it explained to you that’s what tapas is “We felt this was a very patronising remark as we eat tapas on a regular basis and know this is definitely not the case . To matters worse there was people who came in after us with multiple plates and tucking in nicely to their meals . The manager who was obviously struggling to cope on a busy Saturday night should have just apologised and admitted our order had been overlooked . If you are looking for authentic Tapas with excellent service in Wigan go to Casa Carlos this place doesn’t deserve your hard earned money ."

"As soon as I walked in, I liked the aesthetic of the restaurant. I sat down and ordered my food with my amigos. I had the pulled brisket nachos and was surprised at the portion size, it wasn’t a small starter like most restaurants but...large, delicious and clearly fresh. I also had the Mexican lasagna which I never heard of before but it was amazing and I couldn’t finish it as it was so filling. I also had a cocktail which was good and a slush which was good too. The staff were friendly, polite and would check if we needed anything often. Overall a great experience and I would come again"
