"This was our first time visiting this restaurant . We booked for lunch being midweek it was quiet so we can’t fairly comment on what the ambience would be in evening. But….. fantastic food we sampled six tapas dishes and each of them had superb taste. And the service was excellent. We will certainly be back with the rest of our friends and family in tow !"

"It was a Tuesday evening and apart from one other couple, we were the only diners. I was very disappointed with the food this time. We hadn't visited Barcelona for quite a few years and on this occasion I was taking a friend out for a birthday meal. The management is still the same and the owner is very nice, friendly and the service was good. But the food I would say was below par. The calamaris were rubbery and the batter soggy. The prawns in garlic were OK but nothing special and just the same size as you can buy in a local supermarket. The mixed salad was soggy and we left half of it. The presentation just didn't have that je ne sais quoi. We had a nice bottle of wine, but for over £60 (for two) with no desert or coffee I wasn't impressed. There was a fresh flower on each of the tables, but a little extra ambience like a candle on the table would also make a difference to the dining experience. I got the impression that the sparkle has gone now. I think they need to up their game and get a new chef!"

"Decent food but strange ambience. Atmosphere here really let's this place down. You go downstairs into what seems to be the basement of an office, but rather than a cozy, dark room the place itself feels quite bright and sparsely decorated. We partly went hoping to hear upbeat and authentic Spanish music but were disappointed that it was instead hard rock. At one point this was turned so high with shreaking guitar riffs that we could not continue our conversation. At this point we complained to a waiter, only to be told that this was their play list and they are not changing it (ok, then we won't be back! but he did turn it down. It is a shame that these ambience points overshadowed the overall nice food. Tortilla, padrón peppers and churros were excellent. Other dishes were good too (an aubergine stew was however a bit too salty and oily and the menu is vast, and suitable for veggies. The house red is also decent."

"There are a couple of things that went wrong during our visit here. We were taken to our table and told to scan a QR code to order our food. Once we did that we were told that we shouldn't have but order and pay for the food at the cash till. The staff was nevertheless able to sort it out but, unfortunately the online order was not properly picked up and one of the dishes we ordered was brought with the extra spice sauce (instead of the one ordered). Again, things were sorted out by the staff but the overall experience was sub-par. The good was ok-ish but would probably not return soon."

"We had been to Barcelona Tapas once before. The previous visit was decent, but this time it was poor, due mostly to the service. The food was decent, but one of the dishes (croquettes) arrived when most of the other dishes had already been eaten; so late that we thought they had forgotten the croquettes. The restaurant was quiet, and when another couple came in, they sat them right next to us (that shows the waiting staff care more about their journey than anything else), and then were very chatty towards them. They weren't with us. That's a small thing, but it made us feel that we were just punters in to eat and go. Basically, there was no sense of occasion. Football should also not be on the tv. If I want football on, I'll go to the match or to a pub."

"brindisa in borough market is one of my favorite restaurants in the whole city nay, the world when I lived in london bridge, I went so often we were on first name with the personal, had the usual favorites and always a good table, fast. I love this place, so when I heard about a special lunch menu in the sister industry, tramontana in shoreditch, I knew I had to try it. the calçotada is an annual Spanish festival, which celebrates kalotten, which are essentially great earlylings onions, by catalunya in the northeast spaniens. the set menu is served on Saturday and Sunday in the mornings in the february and the fairytale if calcots are best. the limes are boiled on a fire until the sharply brazed, in timed steamed, then in bundles for the table to divide. you peel off the darkened skin with the fingers and immerse them in a delicious Romasco sauce. it is simple, tasty and very chaotic: we set ourselves to a chilled glass of cava and put our balls on to stick. After we have a dozen, we pulled up the meat plate with butifarra wurst, presa iberica ham, delicate lamb and grilled chorizo. for inlays were grilled artichokes, roasted paprika, baked kartoffel and toast served with a good, strong aioli. for dessert we had finished the Spanish version of crème brûlée, crema catalana, and with double presses."

"We enjoyed the charcuterie board with an addition of queso tetilla (which was absolutely delectable), the mussels, ham and cheese croquettes and the truffle mushroom croquettes, lamb lollipops, a bottle of wine and some cocktails, and the classic tapas menu for three. All of the food was excellent, but everyone especially loved the croquettes, the mussels, the lamb, and the fried potatoes and omelette that came on the tapas menu. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys authentic and delicious food."

"we have visited many tapas bars throughout Spain and the authentic food cooked and served in this restaurant was excellent. the menu was great and the quality of eating was excellent. the personal was incredibly attentive, friendly and very good about the Spanish culture., eating and drinking. during our weekend in london we went back for a second evening to taste different things from the menu and the experience was just as good! the cocktails were amazing, we were able to taste a lot of different sherry drinks and we enjoyed our evenings very much. we do not often write reviews, but we were so impressed by this restaurant that we wanted to share our experience with others."

"Visited for a Painting and Sangria night with a group of colleagues and we had an excellent night! The Sangria was fab (they offer a non alcoholic strawberry cocktail as an alternative), tapas absolutely delicious (and in very generous portions) and the painting class was super fun and you get to take the painting you do home with you after. Such a great idea for an evening out that was different but made for a great night! We will definitely be returning for dinner and possibly another Painting class. Would make a great hen party idea or birthday party."
"Very bad service. We were on the back of the restaurant next to the kitchen, although booked 2 weeks ago and ordered Sangria and some bread and cheese on arrival. 15 minutes passed and nothing came. We were then asked if we were ready to order and said we had ordered drinks and snacks and were ready to order our net. Then we did this and still there were no drinks. Then we were told that the red wine sangria had run out, which was poor at 8:00 on a Saturday eve for a tapas restaurant. Our whole food including bread and cheese came at the same time and left us overwhelmed with food."

"It's okay. The service was friendly and they were good to take a photo. On the website, however, they advertise a 3 tapas deal for 12.50. We came to see a sign outside 3 tapas deal for 14.50. I wasn't amusing. The waitress then apparently had no idea about the deal and went to check. Deal for 14.50. Well, I notice that the deal was online anyway. We order, generally enjoy the food and receive the bill. The deal was not taken into account. The waiter says we should have let the waitress know. That upset me when I'm pretty sure she asked him. It was only approx. 5.75 saved and had to choose 2 dishes from the sections. I previously recommended this restaurant on another side, but this experience has upset me. They need to change their website and educate their staff."

"What a hidden gem! We found this restaurant on our last night! It was fabulous and I would have eaten here every night! We were welcomed by the staff as soon as we arrived. We ordered a mix of tapas, paella and then desert. We...were a mix of children and adults. There was no food left over it was delicious and we ate so much. From calamari, bruschetta, seafood paellas, lamb, olives the list can go on. It was delicious. The atmosphere was buzzing as it was after a Chelsea home game. Wine was paired and went really well. We finished with a Alcoholic coffee with deserts and let the server choose. The price was so reasonable for London it was incredible. Will definitely go back. This place reminded me of Barcelona and brought back such special memories."

"We found the menus to be quite complicated. There were six of us eating and two if us arrived a bit late. Overall I found the street food dishes to be delicious and we ordered of them on the advice of the friendly waitress. We mainly stuck to that menu. Two of us shared a bottle of white wine and that menu choice was limited options from memory. The rest drank beer. I also had a margarita which was fab. We had tacos and salsaguacamole dips to start as well all very nice. Some of us ordered dessert the donuts with choc dip v average and a tart which was like a creme caramel no pastrybiscuit base which they weren't expecting. Overall I would go back but the I have to say the service from the chap waiter who took over when we moved to a bigger table helped to complicate it all for us. He seemed as confused as we were at times"

"Boqueria Market on Queenstown Road is the second branch of Boqueria, a Spanish tapas restaurant group. I visited the original Boqueria on Acre Lane in Brixton about 18 months ago and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food was fresh and wholesome and the service was lovely. So once again I found myself south of the river to discover what Boqueria Market had to offer. Boqueria Market is a really smart looking restaurant. The setting is intimate and the lighting is soft. The restaurant feels relaxed, yet there is a buzzy vibe to it that makes for an engaging dining experience. The menu is similar to the Acre Lane branch and includes a selection of traditional and contemporary tapas as...read more"

"We were lucky enough to secure a booking to hold our Christmas Party this year at the Princess Victoria. From moment I approached them I knew that this would be a memorable party. From the decorating, menu planning, drinks and canapés on arrival everything was organised and Susi and her team were always willing to liaise with me about what I wanted both leading up to and on the night of the event with great flexibility and professionalism. I recovered a number of outstanding reviews and feedback in relation to the venue, drinks, food, atmosphere and comments about her friendly staff were made my many of my coworkers. I can not could not thank Susi enough for her hard work and input in making our Christmas party this year so memorable. Thank you and Merry Christmas to everyone working and involved at the Princess Victoria!"

"In Camden and needed somewhere to eat so dropped in here. Service was attentive and friendly, really nice buzzy atmosphere and was food was pretty good. Should’ve had the tapas as it looked awesome coming out but we’d plumped for the sharing meat and cheese board then paella. There was way too much meat on the board and not enough cheese and olives (maybe some pickles would be good here). Paella was ok but nothing to write home about, glad I asked for chorizo (seafood and chicken option) as it helped lift the flavour. House Rioja and Cava were good. Finished with a couple of hazelnut liquors, nice. Service charged included came to £92 which was reasonable. Worth dropping in if passing by for the tapas for sure."

"love this place! camino is located in a street that runs between the caledonian road and kings x road. it is in a rebuilt warehouse style building, with freestanding brickwork and wood floors and there is a reasonable outside space for the summer. it is a great meeting point and very practical around kings x if they are between draws or just want to hang there and read the time on Sunday afternoon. good choice of wein and beer, nice snack, Nibbly food and reasonable coffee. I really like it and have all the others I took here."

"Mackerel and apple (9/10) What is on offer: Spanish tapas in casual surroundings in the culinary dense area of Charlotte street. Don’t expect fancy interpretations of classical dishes, but rather less common rulal Spanish tapas as part of an every changing menu. It should be no surprise that a visit to Barrica will satisfy your taste buds; afterall, the same owners run the impeccable Copita in Soho. "Booked a table through Opentable only to be told when we arrived it was closed for a private event. Total waste of time and with 7 people (4 adults and 3 children) we struggled to get anywhere else closeby. Awful that you can book and they dont even see it Manager said it was impossible to book online but i received the confirmation "
