"This was our first time visiting this restaurant . We booked for lunch being midweek it was quiet so we can’t fairly comment on what the ambience would be in evening. But….. fantastic food we sampled six tapas dishes and each of them had superb taste. And the service was excellent. We will certainly be back with the rest of our friends and family in tow !"

"We arrived to the smell of fresh paint which was very disappointing as there was no mention of refurbishment on the website. I queried with the Manager and he advised that they were just finishing from decorating over the weekend but the smell of paint was very noticeable and I found off putting. I know they need to decorate but please not as evening service was beginning. However the food was good and service was OK for our party of 8. We had the standard Tapas Tasting Menu which was plentiful and tasty. There were not many tables occupied in the restaurant on that night so not overly buzzing but overall we all enjoyed."

"We had been to Barcelona Tapas once before. The previous visit was decent, but this time it was poor, due mostly to the service. The food was decent, but one of the dishes (croquettes) arrived when most of the other dishes had already been eaten; so late that we thought they had forgotten the croquettes. The restaurant was quiet, and when another couple came in, they sat them right next to us (that shows the waiting staff care more about their journey than anything else), and then were very chatty towards them. They weren't with us. That's a small thing, but it made us feel that we were just punters in to eat and go. Basically, there was no sense of occasion. Football should also not be on the tv. If I want football on, I'll go to the match or to a pub."

"I had booked for a works Christmas meal this was 15 people. They were very helpful over emailing when planning and adding additional people. On arrival service was very friendly and helpful. When it came to paying they even split up everyone’s orders with their own receipt. This is above and beyond and made it so easy. The food was cooked exactly how you asked for it. Very very tasty. Good selection of vegan burgers also which is another reason we selected this venue as there were a few in our party. All in all highly recommend and we will be returning"

"This place honestly should not be on anyone's radar. The tapas are very mediocre and they also have minimum orders on a lot of items. Meaning that if you want to get 1 paella, tough luck, you can't. This is extremely annoying and it's made to make you spend more. Also 30pp for a tapas course is way overpriced. The good part was only the music and atmosphere. Will not return here unfortinately and neither any of our friends."

"The service at this restaurant was very poor. Despite booking two weeks in advance, we were placed at a table at the back next to the kitchen. We ordered sangria and some bread and cheese when we arrived, but after waiting for 15 minutes, nothing had arrived. When we were finally asked if we were ready to order, we mentioned that we had ordered drinks and snacks and were also ready to order our mains. However, even after placing our mains order, our drinks still had not arrived. We were then informed that the red wine sangria had run out, which was disappointing considering it was only 8pm on a Saturday at a tapas restaurant. To make matters worse, all of our food, including the bread and cheese, arrived at the same time, leaving us feeling overwhelmed."

"eating is good. the service was friendly and they were good to make a photo. on the website, however, they advertise a 3 tapas deal for 12.50 we came to see a sign outside 3 tapas deal for 14.50, I was not amused. the waitress then apparently had no warning about the deal and went to check. offer for 14.50 good, I notice that the deal was online in the choice anyway. we order, generally enjoy eating and get the bill. the deal was not taken into account. the waiter says we should have let the waitress know. that upset me when I'm pretty sure she asked him to. there was only approx. 5.75 and had to choose 2 dishes from the sections. I have already recommended this restaurant on another page, but this experience has upset me. they need to change their website and educate their personal."

"platz was really busy when we arrived with people who were not booked away, so it is very popular. the staff was friendly and helpful. the table was a bit small and sometimes felt somewhat cramped, especially with overlapping table sets. it was also next to the disabled toilet. (hence the -1 star) eating was really nice and cooked, just as we asked. they also had an extensive wine list with very beautiful weeping. I'd go back if I knew I was sitting somewhere else."

"What a hidden gem! We found this restaurant on our last night! It was fabulous and I would have eaten here every night! We were welcomed by the staff as soon as we arrived. We ordered a mix of tapas, paella and then desert. We...were a mix of children and adults. There was no food left over it was delicious and we ate so much. From calamari, bruschetta, seafood paellas, lamb, olives the list can go on. It was delicious. The atmosphere was buzzing as it was after a Chelsea home game. Wine was paired and went really well. We finished with a Alcoholic coffee with deserts and let the server choose. The price was so reasonable for London it was incredible. Will definitely go back. This place reminded me of Barcelona and brought back such special memories."

"We were invited to have dinner at this restaurant to celebrate a friend. As Brazilians, we love Portuguese cuisine. The dishes we chose were top-notch in both taste and presentation, receiving a 5/5 rating from us. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed a refreshing white sangria. The manager was a fantastic host, the serving team provided excellent service, and overall, our experience was well worth the money spent. "We have lived in the area for years and I now wished we had discovered Boqueria earlier! We had the papatas bravas (so crunchy! and the tortilla (with creamy egg yolk inside for starters so simple but so perfectly executed! For mains, we ordered the chicken paella which was very generous but maybe a tad too salty and the pork, which was paired with an unusual lemon sorbet (it works! . For desserts, we had the cheesecakes (burnt and pistachio , which were a perfect way to finish off our meal. The meal was really fairly priced for the quality of the food. I have been to many tapas/Spanish restaurants in London and this one is definitely up there. We will come back!"

"great restaurant really enjoyed it we were adult. I tried the tomato cheese salad, chorizo, ham croquetas, patras brava as stater than had more ham croquetas they were really nice some funky kartoffels with a fried egg, some chorizo, type of bark boiled medium rare, black pudding and chickenskewers. I can't really blame the place where the food or service is. I loved the Spanish music in the background was surprised that it was not very busy. when entering the bar area has a safety ball and they have some decks on the side, which makes me think that Friday night the place is packed"

"This was our first visit to a Spanish restaurant, La Paella Tapas Bar, after searching for a few months. The atmosphere was beautiful and cozy, complemented by lovely music. I really enjoyed the tapas and the warm bread. The paella was simply delicious, and we finished everything on our plates. Miguel was very friendly and interacted with all his customers. "Upon entering we were seated amongst tables full with family members shouting over each other so me and my partner were unable to talk much as we couldn’t hear. We were then given a menu which was only a small selection of food and no where on the website said it was going to be a set dinner. We then ordered our food which took forever to turn up and our drinks had been forgotten about. Our starters arrived after 20 mins and they were small but nice. I ordered a steak and my partner ordered the fish, we were given a bowl of veg and potatoes to share when it stated that our meals came with potatoes and veg not to share and then they charged us £162!!!!!! I couldn’t believe it!! The food was lovely but the overall experience and price was a massive let down for New Year’s Eve."

"I would like to say after I and my wife visited a friend in coleshill, we were told about a pub called red lion on the high street, so we decided to give it a try after the use of the pub a few years back. wow we used this pub about 10 years ago with our parents who used to live in coleshill, we were pleasantly surprised that we stayed safe and for a pizza went a burger, eating was amazing and the whole mood of the pub was so refreshing to see from the friendly staff and the friendly owners, it was nice to be treated with so much respect. I would like to say that in any case we will be done very soon to the new owners."
