"Bit of mixed evening slow start and bad ending. BAR Great decor but perhaps as we came earliesh (5pm? was not fully staffed so had to flag down the server to take our order.  OK cocktails but nothing special.  No bar snacks.  We felt ignored.  FOOD  Absolutely great brasserie cuisine.  The chops especially nice as seasoned to perfection and sliced off the bone.  Fun retro (1980s desert trolley with drawers.  Again excellent food all around. WINE Charming sommelier who listened and recommended a surprisingly and smashing white!  STAFF Heaps of them but not sure they are very well organized.  Friendly but cater and pander (very very obviously to regulars and celebs.  Made us feel abit 2nd class honestly and we definitely were not the staff's priority.  DOG POLICY  None on website BUT a medium/large poodle nearby us was allowed and it barked and barked loud enough for the entire dining room to notice. The owner nor the staff took any proactive action to resolve this.  Our dessert course was absolutely ruined for 30 minutes.  We did mention to manager and he said he would look into the policy but did not take any action at the time.  We love animals but they belong at home not in a restaurant we paid nearly £300 for dinner!  Utterly unacceptable.  Per Covid this would never happen.  RECOMMENDED Absolutely NOT unless you are a dog lover, lesser royal, cast member of Made in Chelsea or a posh regular who lives round the corner "

"A beautiful experience at Cafe Murano, this came highly recommended by family, and I was so pleased they were able to squeeze me in last minute, at the bar, for a pre-theatre supper (though booking is recommended! The staff were very friendly and able to recommend excellent dishes on the menu to help me decide. I opted for the Primavera Risotto, which was gloriously silky smooth risotto with yellow courgette, asparagus, and wafer-thin spring onion slices. It was light, fresh and very flavoursome, and not ‘claggy’ like some risottos can be. The rest of the menu looked delicious and I will definitely return with more people and for more courses! Whilst waiting I was served some focaccia and a dish of olive oil, both delicious. There is also a set menu which is £23 for two courses which looked great value too."

"I had the pleasure of eating after fucine while I visited family and friends in Britain. if they are looking for an authentic Italian resturant with a modern note that only the best ingredients, has vegan and vegetarian options with friendly helpful staff, a great ambiente, stunning venue and environment, don't look further! everything is made fresh on the spatialities, the sauces, pastas, brot desserts and soo much more. highly recommended. amazing can not wait to go back!"

"Abysmal. We came for breakfast at 10 am and restaurant was 80% empty but waitress forced us to sit at a small table next to a solo diner working on a group phone call. Waitress claimed that all the other tables were booked. Breakfast toast...came but it was cold. Omelet came and it was acceptable, hot and fresh, but without the accompanying chips. We asked for the chips and the waitress said that those had to be ordered separately and that there is an additional charge. The menu didn’t reflect that, but she insisted that they had changed the menu so that now there is an additional charge. The orange juice, indicated on the menu as fresh, was boxed. We asked about the freshly juiced drinks, the orange and carrot or the apple, orange and carrot, and the waitress said that those were half boxed/half fresh, despite the menu description of “fresh juiced”. As we left, we commented on all the empty tables we were denied and the waitress said that those patrons went next door instead( All in all, very expensive, very rude. We certainly will not return."

"Booked for a first date from a friends recommendation. Absolutely first class service and food. Cannot fault anything. The staff even knew who I was as I walked in, showing a great attention to detail. Food was spectacular and didn’t take very long to arrive. Simply cannot recommend high enough! "First we seen a mouse. There were five other people that saw the same mouse. Our dessert was apple crumb it came out on 8” pizza dough with maybe 10 pieces of apple no crumbs. We will never go back and will I will bad mouth your restaurant till the day I die. I wish I had taken a picture of the mouse that came right up to out table! "Terrible, sadly. We've eaten here and had great meals, but booked to have brunch on a Saturday morning. Upon arrival we were told that 3 4 members of staff hadn't turned up, and to leave. I completely appreciate that staffing issues and illness can be unexpected, but it could have been handled far better no sign of an apology etc."

"the Ribelli Sunday brunch is really excellent! we enjoyed the version with free flow prosecco. at 44 € we can only recommend the brunch completely (without prosecco 34 €). the pizzas are excellent. both the small breakfast spizza, as well as the normal (big) pizzen tasted us excellent. also the breakfast buffet does not read a wish open. all we have tasted has excellent taste (lax, salami, crimp, diw cheese (especially delicious: gorgonzola), salami, washbasin, ice cream, speck, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, baked). "Went for the Jan half price deal. I don’t think I’d go normally because the menu is so expensive, but the food was admittedly very good, couldn’t complain about any of it. Would have preferred if the beers and ciders had the amounts (500ml or 330ml for example) on the menu, as £6.80 for a 330ml bottle of beer is not good value in my opinion. The downside from our dining experience was the service. My girlfriend described it as “terrible service with a smile”, because while everyone was very welcoming and friendly, our servers would frequently forget drink orders and be less than attentive. It seemed like there were a lot of new staff members and that the system was disorganised which would be a management fault rather than the fault of the servers themselves. So all in all, I enjoyed the food, but the service needs improvement."

"Have been past here so many times, but today thought we would go in and get a breakfast. And we were very pleased we did. The cafe itself is great inside with old style booths in the front and tables with a TV in the back. The food was very nice indeed and we also tried a couple of house cocktails, well why not? They had the world cup on in the back, so we carried on our day with a few pints watching the footie. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Will now be a place we come more often for sure."

"This review is slightly old.. I had dicorved this plase close by to my house in St Johns, they had recently opened up and is a quaint family run joint.. I decided to give it a go on a monday evening for a late lunch early dinner with a friend... I was craving some good italian food.. nothing special with out burning a hole in my pocket... it deivered to the T really good service... We had a cheese pizza and a lasagne bolognese with a glass of wine each.. cost 15 quid per person which was not bad at all... the food was decent but nothing to rave about... expectations were met and we left as happy foodies"

"The restaurant is situated behind the Swan Hotel. It has a lovely, cozy atmosphere with a strong Italian influence. The staff is friendly and welcoming, providing perfect and speedy service. The menu is somewhat limited, but the food is fresh and delicious. I ordered garlic bread with mozzarella, tagliatelli with garlic, porcini mushrooms, and coriander, as well as thin fries, all of which were very tasty. The prices are fair."

"I booked this restaurant for our 1st wedding anniversary after carefully searching restaurants in our area for reviews, it looked absolutely perfect BUT it couldn't have been more wrong, in fact the only good thing I have to say about this place is the young girl that welcomed us and did absolutely everything and I mean everything. she welcomed us, served our drinks, took our orders, served our food, cleared our table, everything. the first red flag came as soon as we sat down and were presented with a menu printed on a piece of A4 paper with not a very wide selection of things to eat maybe 5 of each, starters, main course and desert then to be told a couple of those were actually not on because ingredients had not been delivered. well we thought small menu so the food must be really good, this couldn't have been further from the truth. we both ordered brucheta to start, when it came we were presented with a piece of sliced bread probably from the co op from over the road with a mush on top that didn't look very appetizing, not fresh tomatoes and so on and so forth. then came the main I ordered chicken kiev and the wife got a pizza. the wife ate 3 pieces of her pizza because she was hungry. what was presented in front of me is another story, i paid £11 for a tennis ball size and shape of processed meat, just like you get from the supermarket on a bed of to be honest i still dont know what it was, no flavour to any of it and to cap it all of it was burnt. we didn't complain at he time because we are not the sort to do that, we dont like making a scene but this experience absolutely ruined what should have been a perfect day for us our first wedding anniversary. now i dont know whether we caught them on a bad day or what, i read all the reviews before and i have read them all again since and it doesn't make any sense, all i can say is i certainly will not be returning or recommending this place to any of my friends."
