"Really lovely food and friendly but not overly accommodating service. The restaurant was pretty much empty when we arrived, and although we'd booked a table days before, we were put on a hastily pulled together section in the middle of the restaurant. We asked if we could sit against one of the cushioned sections which was easily to keep the kids pinned into but was told it was booked.... no one sat there during the course of our meal which was frustrating"

"Made plans to come here for lunch after a morning visit to Camera Obscura which is just a little way up the mile. Been here before years ago loved it…love it still! Great ambience, fantastic service and amazing food all hot, fresh and tasty. Large portions too! I can definitely recommend the haggis bites they’re delicious. Shout out to our sever Sophie who was lovely; welcoming, friendly efficient. Love this place will return."

"I visited this place with my friend this week and it was an excellent experience. Place was big but very well organized and decorated beautifully. We received a warm welcome by staff; they seated us and helped us with the menu which looked great. I ordered chicken wrapped in pancetta and my friendordered spaghettini with prawns which she said was the best she had. Great ingredients, flavors and very nicely presented. I could recommend this place without a hesitation. This place is worth a visit."

"I have been in the filling station in the omni center, edinburgh several times. I love eating American style along with the friendly service. the filling station coast to coast is an american restaurant bar. the atmosphere is created by playing classic American soundtracks and retro decoration. my favourite dish that I always go back and forth are the kentucky wings with Louisiana sauce. nom! and of course there is always space for one or two of the desert:D read them on my blog posts from the cocktail master class that is hosted by filling station and reintroducing the filling station in the edinburgh royal mile."

"So I have seen several of these all around London and assumed that a pizza a a chain wouldn't be that great. Finally I tried one when I couldn't find anything else that looked good in the area. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. I have now tried two locations and have to say that both the service and the food has been good at each one. "Bad food. Loooong wait both for drinks and food. Waiter (owner I was told) got 2 meals wrong. Brought calamari fritti for my husband and I which he never ordered in his life and I can 't stand them as they are like rubber in the UK so would never have ordered that. Waiter insisted I did, not once but 3x! My husband actually asked for whitebait! My husband ordered calf 's liver as a main which is soft and succulent in France, Germany and Greec etc. It was thin and like shoe leather. It is supposed to go into a hot pan, then turned over after a few seconds and taken out of pan served. This is what it should be like "A classic of British cooking, Calf 's Liver is succulently tender and fine grained with a deliciously mild, sweet flavour. More and more people are discovering the delicious flavour of Calf 's Liver due to its place on the menus.« I took it home to give to the dog and foxes!! My friend next to me (we were 13) ordered meatballs which were so salty she couldn 't eat them. Another lady didn 't like how the fish was done. It was mediocre. MY mussels had anorexia. I have photos. They were non existent or if there was one in the shell, it didn 't measure more than 5mm. 20 were empty and the sauce was not nice. Obvs they were not fresh mussels, they were cooked already and just heated up. Lots and lots of small broken shells in the sauce. Must have been the last dregs. Just as well I didn 't swallow one of the shards. Will I go back? No, I 'll go to a real Italian restaurant next time. Bragging about an Italian chef! He needs to go on a cookery course IN ITALY! I lived, ate and cooked there. I know what Italian food is supposed to taste like!!!!! And sooo expensive."

"Been twice now since they introduced their separate vegan menu and both times were so tasty! Tried the Mac and cheese and the BBQ pulled jackfruit fajitas! They have a sorbet as dessert currently but the staff said they are working on introducing other dessert options! Also really like that the vegan menu is a veganised version of their main menu they've put so much effort in"

"My husband bought a kebab for himself and fish and chips for me. This was on Friday evening last week. Usually you can expect a decent fish on a Friday as traditionally this was fresh from catch. This was in all honesty the worst excuse for fish I’ve ever tasted. The texture was all wrong, it was a mush, almost a paste, covered in a batter that was like pancake mix. They had even put two in the box which you might think was a bonus but it only made it heavier to carry to the bin. It was pouring with rain or I would have returned it. The chips were no better, they were sweet tasting like they’d shared the oil with goodness knows what! I will ensure I never use this chippy again."

"I made a reservation for 4 tonight without realizing we actually needed 6 seats. The staff was so accommodating kind about it. I wanted to say thank you to the servers on tonight (specifically the girl with the hufflepuff tattoo) because I know it can be really frustrating when a mistake like this happens! she was incredibly welcoming and made it work for us. "Had breakfast there on Sunday. Great choice of food and nice place inside. Coffee was a bit lacking in flavour though, and my full breakfast, although tasty, was all different teperatures. Sausages, pancake and potatoes were hot but eggs, tomato and bacon were pretty cold. Would expect all ingredients to be kept warm and plated together? Will go there again though and hope for better luck next time, as overall was still pleasant."

"I ordered kebabs for me and a friend last night. when they arrived, they were completely burned and the chips tasted. my friend called them to say they were burned and unusable, but halfway through the conversation they put on him....When he called back to ask for a refund, they said it was not their fault, it was burned and then they began to say that they were closing, so nothing they could do. they didn't even apologize and I paid for eating that we gave to the dog. I'm not fussy, but it was like coal. they must also improve on the salat side. it is missing and no chilis. I will never use this place again. they sent out terrible food and refused to return my money. the most expensive piece of dog food."
