"I have ordered from this restaurant several times through Just Eat and have always been impressed with the quality of the food for takeout. They offer a good selection of dishes made with genuine meat and tasty vegetarian options. The food is flavorful, well-prepared, and comes in generous portions. "Dear Jashans, I had called on Sunday to reserve a table for two on Tuesday, January 31st. The lady on the phone took my booking, confirmed my mobile phone number, and repeated the details back to me. However, when we arrived by taxi at 7pm, we found the restaurant closed. We had to pay £30 for the taxi ride with no dinner to show for it. Despite Google saying you were open and Facebook stating you were closed on Tuesdays, you still accepted and confirmed my booking. Why did you not inform me of the closure and what will you do about the wasted taxi fare? If I receive a response, I may consider accepting your apology. If not, we will not be returning."

"Back in my 'day ' (the late 80 's, 90 's and early 2k), Blackwood Rd had the usual town/village shops. Walks to school including a stop at Taylors News for sweets, chippy tea, hair cut, pharmaceutical support... Roll on 30 years later, and something that could have come a lot lot sooner (when I was walking the streets, on my way home after a night out at the local public houses when turning '18 ' in the late 90 's) there is a restaurant. An indian restaurant. Visiting parents, as now live in Lincolnshire, and they took me here... Service; fantastic, very personal, great conversation. Location; 'hidden ' away, and parking could be an issue if early doors. Drinks; unlicensed, so BYOB. Wine for me. Food; when 'testing ' an Indian restaurant I will always go with the chefs/restaurants 'own ' Jalfrazi. If its good, I know the rest of the menu will be good. Lots of experience here . No complaints from parents, nor myself. Price; absolutely spot on for portion size. Lamb Tikka Sylheti Jalfrazi. Not over powered with chilli, just a nice warmth on the back of the tongue, perfection. As well as the starters, all was beautiful. Highly recommended, and parents say take out/delivery is spot on too. Those that know me, you know I like my curry. If i say its good, its very good. "I am pleased to have discovered a traditional, unassuming Indian restaurant in London like Ruhits. It reminds me of the ones I used to visit growing up in Kenton, Harrow. I prefer this over fancy Indian cuisine. The balti butter chicken at Ruhits is delicious, with generous portions at a reasonable price. The seating is comfortable, not like uncomfortable wooden or wicker chairs. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I highly recommend Ruhits."

"I went with my wife to this restaurant for a quick dinner. The manager was RACIST, he was rude in a passive aggressive manner asking us if we are new to this country implying that we aren't well cultured enough to be fit in his restaurant. The food was outrageously spicy, although this might be an act of vengeance to make his point clear that we have offended him in some way. So can't really comment on food. But yea such a downer to be here when all u want is a nice meal with a warm service Pathetic "

"I have visited many Indian restaurants, but I have often been disappointed by the lack of variety in their dishes. They are either overly spicy or bland, and often drenched in oil and artificial coloring. However, I was pleasantly surprised by this particular restaurant. Despite its unassuming appearance, the food was well-seasoned, made with high quality meat, and overall excellent. I was very impressed and will definitely return. Although I have had some average experiences in the past, my most recent visit was once again excellent. Every restaurant has its off days, but for the price, this place offers the best value for takeout in York. While Mirchiz on Fishergate may offer slightly higher quality dining, it is also more expensive. For a local Indian restaurant, this place surpasses its competition."

"I start with the positive, great location, beautiful pub beautiful and welcoming. we had booked a table in advance, which was good as he was pretty busy for a Tuesday. the disappointment came with the service, no one explained about the ordering over the app, we...figured that only for our drinks did not arrive ( apparently we added the wrong table number, we could not find that a drink finally arrived, was one not the correct order, but our server told us that he did not make the drinks. we decided to order food on the bar to be on the safe side. 5 minutes later we were told that there were no salads, no chips and only enough maic for a cake! no shinitzel. while I recognize this thing, it was the fact that nobody really seemed interested that we had a bad experience. eating was pretty good when it arrived, but we had to hurry when we had waited so long. it is a real shame that it would be great if these problems could be eliminated."

"We’ve ordered from Paprika multiple times since moving to Reading and I honestly can’t rate them enough. The food is ALWAYS amazing and on time. I’ve never had a bad or even mediocre dish from them. "Food republic is conveniently located in the middle of Broad Street. It serves mainly kebabs. During my visit, I had the chicken kebab in naan and fries. The portion sizes are big but the food tastes bland and overall quality is not great. Moreover, what they call naan is actually some kind of ready-made wrap. Service is not that great as there’s a wait for the food staff are not polite. I was also not given my 1 pence change. I know it’s only a penny but as a matter of principle, I expect to be given the correct change. I would recommend to avoid Food Republic, unless if you are desperately hungry. Even if that were the case, there are plenty of other places to eat at in that area, for example Jimmy Spices which is an all you can eat buffet costing about the same."

"great food, friendly staff and decor. alana, great work, keep it up. we were great within seconds after the entrance of the door, they could even postpone our booking as we were early. starter came fast and tasted absolutely amazing. we couldn't blame them in the least. our net, that was the smetterling pad thai was also something I would recommend. perfectly dimensioned, tasted from this world and something I would order again and again. the only thing I was disappointed was not getting a cold, but my partner did. the puddings were also brilliant, the chocolate exploded with taste and really satisfied that sweet tooth I had demanded. all in all we loved our experience and felt that our server alana was 10 out of 10. she helped us in our order, had a brilliant presentation and offered us an amazing customer service. the only one I was not satisfied with was the service fee that was added without warning. there may have been signs that I did not see, but I only found out when I was flipped and said that this was added automatically."

"30th August made a order online. I had already paid. I wondered what was going on as i havent heard anything from this company, then finally get a message rejecting the order! I rang up asked for a refund and why my order was rejected, the person I spoke too was nice and to ring the 3rd party as they took the money. I then get a phone call back I will get refund by end of day. I recieved nothing, next day I phoned up he was nice again told me that he will get in touch as soon as he knows something and apologised, My partner went to the shop without knowing I had already called. This man showed a WhatsApp message that havent been seen by curry hunter which I throught is very unprofessional. I phoned up again on monday he said can I get back to you. Tuesday this time it was the brother of the other person. He was very rude he made me cry down the phone, told me that his brother told me partner that I will get a refund in 2weeks which was a lie, he was shouting at me wouldnt letting me get out what I had to say he. I then get a text message from the person I was talking to before saying it's not for them to give me the money that curry hunter needs to sort it out not them. I then had a phone call from the manager from curry hunter manager very nice and understand they told me how things are meant to work and how mazza has dealt with me and this situation is very wrong. He told me I will receive this refund tomorrow if not to call. I got nothing I wouldnt rate this company at all never had a problem until now will not be going back EVER!!"

"The host/manager let the evening down, he had an egotistical attitude, when he was asked about the spice/hotness of the food and which regent of India it came from, he was very dismissive and spoke down, rather than elaborate on his food he served. The serving of the starters and main meal had no system, the starters were plated, however the main meal was placed in serving bowls and placed on our plates which meant mixing the side orders like rice and vegetables difficult to mix in the bowls. We had to ask for serving spons and reorganized our eating arrangement. During and after the main meal, there was no further service, for additional drinks and desert or coffee offered, by 22:15, it was uncomfortable sitting in the restaurant as the management was more interested in closing up. The premises entrance was uninviting with a cycle parked in the hallway abd carpets needed a good clean through the entire premises. Considering there was a lot of room in the restaurant, the tables for four people were very small and cramped. Shame to state the above, because the food was tasty and reasonably priced, and the two young waitress were very pleasant."

"I have ordered food from here while at work on a Monday to Friday and food is delivered promptly with no problems. However, delivery times for a Saturday is an absolute joke. I ordered a breakfast at 12:26 PM on Saturday via Just Eat, after waiting an hour and 20 minutes I phoned them to find out where the delivery was and I was told that I was next on the list so I asked them to cancel it because it would be at least another half an hour before it arrive making a grand total of 2 hours wait. At 2:50 PM I received a telephone call to say my delivery was at the door for me, by then I had made myself something to eat, eaten it and washed it up! DO NOT ORDER FOOD ON A SATURDAY UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED TO WAIT A LONG"
