"Great food, friendly service and excellent value. After visiting the theatre on a Friday night we found that this was the only restaurant still open in the area (it was only 10pm). The staff were very friendly, the food arrived relatively quickly, and was delicious. All the staff seemed very friendly and keen to make us feel welcome. Would definitely recommend."

"We have been frequenting this restaurant for years and it has always been our favorite Indian spot. On New Year's Eve, we placed an order for delivery at 5:30 pm and were told it would take 1.5 to 2 hours. Unfortunately, the food never arrived and despite trying to call numerous times, there was no answer. The next day, I went to the restaurant as soon as they opened to address the issue. They claimed all deliveries had been made, but while I was there, the phone rang multiple times with other customers experiencing the same problem - no food delivered but payment taken. The staff said there was nothing they could do and I am now waiting for my bank to resolve the issue. As regular customers who spend at least £60 a month at this restaurant, we were extremely disappointed and will not be returning."

"Ordered a chicken korma. Quite possible the worst korma I’ve ever had, the sauce itself was fine but the chicken was so chewy and dry, it tasted like I was eating a rubber tire. Not over exaggerating!! I called them up regarding the issue and nothing was sorted."

"What a hidden gem. Authentic old school Indian restaurant, family run business for over 50 years. Used to eat here years ago then moved away. Returned 2 weeks running now for their excellent value banquet night on a Monday. Starter, main dish, rice, vegetable dish, bread and tea or coffee all for £13 each. The food was spot on, even took a doggie bag home! Piping hot and lots of it. Staff so attentive, nothing is too much trouble. Booked a table online. So easy. Would highly recommend. Will be back next Monday :"

My brother and I love dining here, and every dish we've sampled from the menu has been fantastic. Prices are reasonable, and while the portions might appear small, they are surprisingly satisfying. The restaurant can get busy, so it’s wise to book a reservation or arrive early. Service, ambiance, and dining experience all deserve a rating of 5. Must-try dishes include Masala Dosa, Chicken Tikka, and Pilau Rice. Vegetarians will appreciate the extensive, clearly labeled vegetarian menu options. Dinner typically costs between £10 and £20 per person."

"Just enjoyed my first visit to Cardamon. I arrived at 19:30 on Monday 4th and there was only one other table occupied which was a bit of a surprise. The menu was presented smartly and showed a wide variety of interesting sounding dishes which were well explained. I chose the Meat Bilate Mirchi (stuffed pepper) and on the advice of the host the Staff Curry with Pilau rice. Both courses arrived very promptly and were very well presented. Both were highly flavoursome and would rank near the very top of all of the Indian (Bangladeshi) restaurants that I have visited over many many years. The service was very good without being too intrusive. The total bill came to just over £30 for the above mentioned dishes (but no sides) and one pint of Cobra which in my opinion is very good value for money given the outstanding quality of the food. All in all a very good meal and I will certainly visit again when staying in the Warrington Runcorn area."

"I eat vegan food because I am allergic to dairy, egg and shelfish (I have an anaphylaxis allergy to shelfish aka my throat closes over why I eat it). I was immediately disappointed with this restaurant as the staff were rude, the atmosphere was unpleasant and the service was very slow (took 1hour and a half to be served). Things got worse when my supposedly vegan food arrived but had shellfish in it I soon spent the evening in A&E fearing for my life. When I went in the next day to politely asked what had been put in my food (in case I reacted to a new allergen) the owner treated me unkindly and told me the allergy was my fault. Never again will I support this business owner and I do not reccomend this place for anyone"

"Wow, I couldn't believe my luck when I found out this Indian restaurant is dog friendly! The place is nice, the food is decent, and the service is good. We started with the mixed kebab, which was served on a sizzler plate. It was okay, but the onions and meat were a bit burnt. For our mains, we had chicken Nagri and Lamb Jalfrezi. The chicken was delicious, but the Jalfrezi didn't taste like any I've had before. Despite that, it was still tasty."

Last Friday I made many mistakes, but it can be summarised at me missbehaving and loosing track of a bag full of expensive assets that I rejected to store in Core's cloackroomWithout any hope of getting it back, this morning (2 days after) I passed by the Core and asked to their manager who to my surprise found it and brought it back to me. "I ordered a takeaway from here after reading reasonable reviews on trip advisor and just eat. I ordered my food via just eat which was fairly simple. It sent me a time that my food would be delivered by a few minutes after placing my...order, which was convenient as I could warm my plates and oven for when it arrived. The food actually arrived before the time I was given which was actually a good thing as I was rather peckish. I was greeted with a happy new year and a smile by the delivery man which was nice. He said he hoped I enjoyed my meal and wished me fair well good service. The food was piping hot and of a good standard. I think there was room for improvement on flavour but quality was very good. The meat used was tender and fresh. I enjoyed the curry and would order from here again, not the best I've had but, for the price, can't go wrong. I had a chicken madras, pilau rice and onion bajhi which came to under £10. I would recommend this curry house for its efficiency, friendly service and good standard of food."

"this is a special place for us. we had a wonderful ruby high-time jubilee here and that was another special jubilee for us. the restaurant is spacious and the music soothing, improving the experience. eating is not so good. we had a wonderful ktikka...the staff were so helpful and friendly. it was an absolute pleasure to eat here again and I can't eat it very enough with regard to ambiente, service trails over everything else they will experience, and a generally excellent culinary experience. the location is central and it is in my opinion the best Indian culinary experience anywhere in the city. I would like to thank the manager and his personal for making the evening so special for us."
