"I ordered a takeaway from here after reading reasonable reviews on trip advisor and just eat. I ordered my food via just eat which was fairly simple. It sent me a time that my food would be delivered by a few minutes after placing my...order, which was convenient as I could warm my plates and oven for when it arrived. The food actually arrived before the time I was given which was actually a good thing as I was rather peckish. I was greeted with a happy new year and a smile by the delivery man which was nice. He said he hoped I enjoyed my meal and wished me fair well good service. The food was piping hot and of a good standard. I think there was room for improvement on flavour but quality was very good. The meat used was tender and fresh. I enjoyed the curry and would order from here again, not the best I've had but, for the price, can't go wrong. I had a chicken madras, pilau rice and onion bajhi which came to under £10. I would recommend this curry house for its efficiency, friendly service and good standard of food."

Great little takeaway (only takeaway; no dining area), best we have tried so far in St Albans. Always happy with it, seems fresh and is well priced.

Always quick to deliver. Nice friendly people. Last time we forgot to order the rice so they got it to us within 10 minutes at no charge. Food always good and they do child portions as I can never finish the big adult portions.

I ordered a chicken curry with rice, naan, and popadoms. The meat was tasteless and the sauce tasted like hot tomato sauce, making it inedible. The rice and popadoms were alright, but the peshwari naan was bland. I would not order from this restaurant again as it was a waste of money and very disappointing.

only a small level, which is a canvas, were sweet dishes big pieces of tweebel and kartoffel, the paratha was overdone and the salat was raw tweebel (no coriander), but the dips bhaji answer poppadums, where all the big ones were such a mixed bag. all that should have been taken was the least raffinesse to be good!

The experience was amazing. From placing the order to the polite server who delivered it to our table, everything was perfect. The food arrived quickly and was beautifully presented and hot. The flavors were fantastic, and the meat was tender and cooked to perfection. I can't say enough good things about this place, and I will definitely be returning. - Lisa

The service was wonderful, so friendly and helpful. Our order was filled promptly and accurately.Three of the dishes we ordered were perfect tasty, beautifully cooked, full of flavour. The other three were ridiculously sweet, as if sugar had been ladelled in. Actually, even the...naan tasted as if sugar had been added liberally. Not to our taste, which is a shame, because it was otherwise perfect.

We decided to try this restaurant after reading a good food guide in St Albans. However, we were extremely disappointed with our meal. The tandoori lamb chops were marinated in a overly sweet sauce and the quality of the lamb meat was poor. As a fan of lamb, I found it to be tasteless. The naan and roti appeared to be frozen and not made fresh to order, which seems to be a common issue in St Albans. The curries were overly sweet and infused with coconut spices, making them too sugary for our liking. Overall, we found this to be the worst place in St Albans for a curry in our opinion.

"Yammin-Yummy says. ... 5 stars ... also a rarely awarded- 'beezybonus'. . . now, where do I begin to begin with such an amazingly appealing selection of freshly prepared foods that one would naturally expect that, already cooked, sitting, waiting for the next hungry expected customers. this can sometimes cook up to 10-20-50mins before they are placed in front of them. not here. freshly cooked. now this beautiful example of a traditional 'fish chip love affair, established over generations of Friday nights, was beautifully designed to tell their mouth, tonge taste panties, please attach their belts, and then it is about them an incredible arbor ride. ... one who seems to go up just as once they decided what's going in their mouth first (at least the crispy tail end) begins their incredible journey up; as their eyebrows increase during thinking, omg that 's sooo different good, light, crispy teig as I've never tasted in my 37 years since the beginning in the food industry. And then I made the mistake of dipping my squid in the homemade tartaric acid sauce. that is when the 1st massive fear happened, as I thought, oh my days; the better then mean, re-entry, deeper, actually cure my wrist action, to ensure maximum absorption of this sweet/creamy/tart/caper filled taste, as I reached for a chip to accompany, strengthen the excellent experience I thought stupid would be a 'standard thing'. Now I took care of you like this, but I have seen on my chips a few each mouthful was an experience, depending on how I stacked the fork, hahahaha. the fish was so fresh that I was looking on my teller sand. ... to dedicate a joy to each chip. ... the muddy heaps, normally warmed, not microshaft to a mass-hotter-then-the-sun, went a tasty bite, and quickly also, for once. the lemon shattered haddock had to be tied to the plate, because this teig was so light that it almost raised to the deck. but as soon as this handmade tasty tartaric acid sauce meets, any responsible 'handler-of-the-fork', wants to make sure that its only trajectory can be swallowed in their waiting swallow. It was so good, I couldn't stand to leave a single diesel and with this tartaric acid sauce, which even made a bulky chip, was nothing left, I was ashamed to ask the cook the recipe for 'this sauce', as he made such a light oil-free beautiful teig. the staff is very attentive, courteous, with a beautiful large sitting area also. get yourself here quickly bungalows to make an ordinary experience, in an excellent exciting eating expedition into a court that we all know so well, but so different. ... enjoy."
