"First thing is they never had us booked in..claimed we hadn't ordered until I showed him confirmation.. We waited a wee while and were seated . 15 minutes too get a drinks order and 25 too take order.. Starters were lovely. Then downhill from here.. They had massively overbooked and people were standing right at our table waiting to be seated.. front door constantly open and it was absolutely freezing sitting at table. After 1 hour after starters our food came out.. 3 out of 4 of us had to send food back as it was cold. They obviously just microwaved it and chicken was then hard and rice turning hard.. Ate what we could by this time I asked for bill and when I got it I said about quality was bad and service was terrible.. Paid a £160.18 bill thinking this was high.. Also when they served us our food it was just randomly put down ..they never once asked who ordered what.. When I saw them taking other people's food out as well they carried as much as they could and on 3 occasions I saw the curry bowls sitting on the naans. When I got back to hotel I noticed a 10 percent service charge .. I was so angry as service was terrible.. Putting an extra £14.57 onto the bill.. I really wish I read bill properly before leaving.. Never again ..I would give minus stars if I had option"

"Had an incredible experience, the place has completely changed under the new management since last year. We happened to go in by chance and were really surprised by the great service. The team was very pleasant and brought ice cream for the little one. They were attentive and the taste was very delicious. We ordered the Tawa for two and thinking it may have a small portion ordered one dish extra too but the tawa was quite large."

"Cannot fault the Copper Lounge. The staff are mega polite and friendly. Always feels clean and tidy. The food both starters and mains always hot, good portion sizes and so tasty. I've tried almost every Chicken dish now and every time the quality of the Chicken is brilliant. Well worth the money if you don't mind paying a touch extra for a great meal."

"I think that on this site a few films have been filmed (or at least use the outside of the pubs), but I could be wrong about it. I really enjoyed eating. the house salad was great because it was really beautifully presented and had a full of delicious ingredients. it was very delicious. I recommend that the hunch. there were people at the front of the pub that seemed to be local, which made the atmosphere even more beautiful. there is a large screen TV for those who enjoy sport and there is also a small table close to the screen for those who need to be close. there are seating in the upper floor, which offer a beautiful view of the holy trinity church and the beautiful stone streets."

"We visited as a family of 4 at 8pm on Friday night and the restaurant was not at all busy; three other tables. There was no sign of any staff when we walked in and after 5 mins a grumpy waiter appeared and we were seated. This waiter was very disinterested all evening. A second waiter appeared a bit later who was very cheerful and really lovely. Eventually we got our drinks and placed our orders. The dips that came with our poppadoms were freezing cold!!!! That’s a first!! And they were not good!!! The food, when it arrived, was tasty and hot but VERY salty! The grumpy waiter really spoiled things for us and was very slow to do anything at all considering how quiet the restaurant was."

"This was my first visit to the newly revamped Indian restaurant, and I was truly delighted and impressed. I went with my family, and every dish we tried was outstanding. This is exactly what Wanstead needed, and I highly recommend it to everyone. My mother especially loved the chili salmon. "the restaurant as our usual the grange was completely booked. it was a Saturday night, and we were the only 2 people we thought was something strange? we were greeted by a very friendly and friendly young girl. we ordered a beer and a mango leti bee came on, but we were informed later that the kitchen could not knock on a mango letis. we ordered a mixed grill between us for starter the menu description indicated that it contains a nan, huhn tikka, kebab, windshield wiper and another type of huh. after 50 minutes we wait several inquiries and about 15 minutes later the owner came with a sad looking sizzling plate that only a few bits of chopped chicken tikka lamb kebab, he said "here make a start on this"! we asked where the others were dinge and he said that the nan soon get this first”! when we said about the disc and other chickens, he called aggressive and loud: “You did not order the distributor.” we told him that it was on the menu description and he denied it! So we asked him to read the menu before us, and when he saw that we were right, he began to murmur something about someone else who wrote and stormed the menu! the unfortunate waitress who stood close, apologised to behave. she was full of embarrassment. we told her that it wasn't her fault, but we really couldn't stay after it and she said that she understood completely and didn't expect us to pay for the drinks and 2 parpages we had. my man and I were really on a beautiful evening and good eating and instead the owner ruined it with his inability, bad attitude and greed he was clearly prioritizing phone orders over the 2 of us in the restaurant. it's a shame that if the place was renovated, it's not! I think his daughter, who runs the kitchen with him, but not this evening, would most likely be appalled by his shameful behavior. we will not return."
