"Absolutely appalling!!!Booked on for afternoon tea for my birthday, on Received confirmation email but when we arrived we were greeted by anyone. we asked the girl behind the deskreception where we needed to go for our booking, she just said “You’re sure you booked for today?”I responded, Yes. She walked off without saying anything and left us standing there for the best part of she returned she said they had no booking and asked to see my confirmation. When I showed her she said “We need three days notice for an afternoon tea booking and you shouldn’t have got a I asked what they were going to do regarding our booking, she simply shrugged her shoulders and said “Well we don’t have the ingredients for afternoon tea, so........”THAT WAS IT!!!! Nothing more to say.Needless to say we just left and found somewhere else to eat.REALLY NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!"

"When first opened after renovation the Toots bar area was thriving and provided fantastic quality bar meals. This is the first time I've visited in a while and arriving at 7pm on a Saturday night the Toots bar was empty, not a single soul around. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The menu has definitely changed, out with the good old favourites and replaced by a menu with items that sounded sourced from Masterchef. The starters, though extremely small, we're really nice (Local Roe Deer, and Shetland Scallops) the main course was much better portioned and was very tasty, Buffalo Shoulder, and a Buffalo Burger. The sweet however was extremely disappointing for those who chose the Clootie Dumpling, an extremely dry what seemed like Ginger Cake (nothing closely resembling a Clootie Dumpling) and covered in a green tasteless foam (described as Espuma) luckily I had chosen the Biscuits and Cheese. The whole evening we were there a couple came in, as well as a single person. There was no atmosphere and the place has lost its buzz and life. I'm not sure if that because of the new overly fancy menu for a bar area, or the fact the locals no longer feel welcome in a bleak atmosphere. Unfortunately both the menu, and the dead atmosphere will stop me from returning anytime soon, which is such a shame for a once great local business."

"It was my first time visiting Quinn's but my colleagues always rave about the place. True Irish Pub. Service is good and quick. The group I was in with had more than a few requests and each one was handled with no issues. The food wasn't anything you'd see written about in a gourmet magazine but it's great. They had a fair selection of beers and my group was happy on that account. I would certainly eat there anytime and look forward to my next opportunity to visit. Recommended!"

"Location: In the leisure complex, right opposite the Hollywood Bowl Decor: Nicely lit, no blazing lights, and overlooking the casino floor. Pop music playing at an acceptable volume. Neat and clean. Seating: We got seated straight away after playing on the roulette table. Nice solid...wooden tables, and nicely spaced apart. Service: Ok, our order was taken in a few minutes and we didn't have to wait long before the grub arrived. Pleasant waitress, and she took our order after a short while. It wasn't very busy as we dined early at 5.30ish. Food: We ordered 1 x Burger with cheese and bacon, with fries, 1 x Chicken Avacado Bacon Sald, Garlic bread with cheese, Garlic mashed potatoes. **** Mary for me....(average)....and a coke for her. Food was demolished, and the portions were better than we are used to. We were both impressed. Price: £28, so that's a real good price for a tasty meal. Overall we gave it 9 out of 10. Atmosphere was fine. Not a massive menu to choose from, but that was a positive, so we weren't scrolling through loads of pages. Great to have this restaurant on our doorstep. We will certainly be visiting again. An enjoyable dining experience, even though I lost £30 on the games...but my daughter left £20 up....hehe"
