"Lovely room, nice staff especially the female greeter who seated us and checked we were happy, but the waiter who poured the wine didn’t know not to fill up the glasses he tried to empty the whole bottle immediately for the three of us). Food and value ok."

"Lovely traditional village pub. Very welcoming but sadly the bar man could have done with another pair of hands. We waited nearly an hour for our meals to arrive which they said was because the pie we ordered needed half an hour in the oven from the time they received the order. Obviously a delay in getting the order through to the kitchen. However when the meal finally arrived it was delicious and the barman deducted our drinks from the bill to compensate for the wait. Can't ask fairer than that."
