"Lovely traditional village pub. Very welcoming but sadly the bar man could have done with another pair of hands. We waited nearly an hour for our meals to arrive which they said was because the pie we ordered needed half an hour in the oven from the time they received the order. Obviously a delay in getting the order through to the kitchen. However when the meal finally arrived it was delicious and the barman deducted our drinks from the bill to compensate for the wait. Can't ask fairer than that."

Wonderful pub! Lovely atmosphere and great food. My wife said her lamb cutlets were fabulous and my homemade chicken, ham and leak was the best I’ve ever tasted and the portions are very generous!if you get a chance…go!

Enjoyed one of their homemade fish pies this evening which was really delicious! Full of flavour and piping hot with plenty of fish in a creamy sauce and topped with a generous portion of mash and melted cheese…would definitely recommend!
