"We have been previously and loved it but this time we were greeted by Vicky Pollard (I think she was a supervisor or just had an air of importance with no customer service skills) and poor service from her followed. The other members of staff were slow but pleasant at least. Our drinks sat on the bar for 30 minutes before being sent over to us. It was also too much trouble for “Ms Pollard” to ask chef for pizza with no pesto. To be honest we could have put up with slow service and the reserved table being a bit grubby upon arrival but the young woman’s attitude “Ms Pollard” just left a bad impression."

"We booked a table to celebrate our friends birthday. The staff were all brilliant especially Denise who really looked after us. We had starters, followed by pizza and lasagne for mains.... all really delicious. Excellent wine list too. Denise brought a birthday treat with candles and the staff to sing happy birthday.... "I already wanted to go one after katsouri deli, I went one past the window and a huge sausage caught me the eye. Since then, I knew I liked this particular delicate thing. too midday in the week this place is absolutely heaving. the employees are super efficient, they must be! that was not long. there is a series of options for lunch and an breakfast menu that contains an excellent full English. I had not made the full English, but his whole day available, so I took some care while I was on my delicious lunch, it looks like a hearty affair. "if they are a beer lover, that is exactly the right place for them. They have many interesting beers on the tap and a good selection of bottles as well. the finger food is simply amazing. ambiente: the ambiente this place is very welcoming and has enough space for it to host a small party. the music is not too loud, and they can have a good conversation while they enjoy that pint of beer and share some thoughts about the life or the beer in general; the heatings are used in the moderation and some of the areas of the place can have a little cool, especially near the door, but nothing a cup of the beacon can solve or heat up a bit; they also have some free space for them. foods: they have a rather large selection of finger food and we ordered their plate filled with most of their appetizers. this is a good option if they are in a fairly large group. I personally loved the chicken wings it was so well cooked to perfection that it simply melts in the mouth and comes out of the bones without much emotion. next on my recommended list is the wobbly fries it was just the kind I call it crispy and greasy, which goes perfectly with this prise beer. beer: the place is called from a background as a design house! and after its name there are some of the best beers they can have. they have some interesting beer on tap, the one that my eye was caught red loved it tasted really good and definitiv it worth trying it. they have many measures that begin with a 1/4 pint that I felt was perfect as they want to try a lot of beer when they are the beer lover. I personally did not see that I visited most places so far. this is a perfect place to meet friends or their office colleagues after a long working day."

"Good hotel, staff are friendly and helpful. The people next door was shouting at each other all night so I did not get a good nights rest. The worst thing is as we needed to leave early I really needed that sleep. Concerns about key as it was 1 key for our door that also opened a large glass door that made me concerned if other peoples keys could open our door as seems its a shared lock ?. My partner has chosen not to return so this will be reflected in my rating."

"I was aimlessly wandering around and came upon this gem in a neighborhood lined with pretty shops and gorgeous homes. It seems to be frequented by local residents, which was exactly what I was looking for, and it has a little shop that sells fruits, vegetables, pasta, olive oils, etc. I ordered Spaghetti Bolognese, which was perfectly cooked, hot and topped with just the right amount of parmesan. The meat sauce has to be the recipe from someone's little, old nonna. It was out of this world. I couldn't finish it so I took the leftovers to go along with a scrumptious piece of strawberry cheesecake and a bag filled with oil, vinegar, chips and sweets! Thank you, James I wish I knew how to spell your real name!!"

"Lovely atmosphere, warm welcoming staff, great service, lovely food. First time visiting and will definitely be going back again. Good value for money. I'm used to high end establishments but The Fish on The Quay didn't disappoint! Went to celebrate mums birthday. Mum can't tolerate any pepper or hot spices, so the salsa verde with the sea bream was left, however, the rest of the meal was fabulous. I had panko herb-crusted salmon. Again extremely tasty and the accompanying salad was truly fantastic! My son had the classic pizza which was much enjoyed. He is quite difficult to please as has high functioning autism. He also felt really comfortable which is a rarity. I think the friendliness of the staff and the pleasant atmosphere helped him to feel safe. Dessert was equally as tasty and very satisfying. Mum was raving about how tasty the ice cream was which came with her peach clafoutis. My treacle tart was amazing! Fantastic evening which will become one of our happy memories after the pandemic year's."

"jak’s bar is one of my favorite bars in south ken. a noble high-end bar with excellent music and a beautiful cosmopolitan london ambiente. they should however learn that mosque mules are served in metal jugen, but they would forgive them because they do everything else beautiful. not here. their pizza and appetiser are excellent. this spot is one of my favorite places in london."

"We visited on a Sunday lunchtime in early August to celebrate a couple of birthdays. We had booked and were offered a table inside the restaurant (pub? which was all but empty while it was a nice day outside. We asked if we could be seated outside to be able to enjoy the weather and to watch the world go by. We were told very rudely If there 's a table out there then you can eat out there, but you can 't run a tab and you have to order at the bar . We did as we were told, trying to make light of the rudeness. To be fair, it was only one of the staff who had this unfortunate attitude. We ordered drinks at the bar and then our food There 's a 30 minute wait the rude server told us. Dressed Crab, Mussels, and a fish and chips. Turned out there were no mussels left, so we ordered another fish and chips. The food, when it arrive (not as long as 30 minutes was ok, but only ok. My mother 's fish and chips was overdone and dry. Mine was less well cooked, but still rather bland and fish was dry. The whole experience was rather disappointing. We cut our losses and left to eat an ice cream elsewhere. It would hurt any of the staff to crack a smile and perhaps a lesson in manners and customer service wouldn 't go amiss."

"The dining experience was excellent, and the wine was served at the perfect temperature. The ambiance was warm and pleasant, and the personal attention we received was commendable. However, it was a bit disappointing that there were no linen tablecloths, as they would have added a touch of elegance to the room and tables. My only other issue was having to wait 25 minutes for drinks in the lounge. Otherwise, the food was fantastic, and the wine selection was excellent."

"Wow, the pub has been amazingly well renovated. Such a huge improvement!. Came with the family and absolutely loved the Don Burgers! Didn't need to eat for the rest of the day. Loved the interior decor, it's so well done. Would be ideal for cycle groups too as lots of space for bikes to be kept out the back. Would also be good for a classic car or motorbike meet. Keep up the good work and standards and we will definitely be back! Update, came back in April 2023 and still really good. Accommodated nine starving cyclists and managed to fit us in for a quick coffee and cake! Thanks very much!"

"We were in the area looking for Sunday lunch so stopped by the Coventry Arms. The pub felt cramped and flew not well inside, but with a large outdoor area. The service was from the bar, although you had to be the right side of the bar, like me and several after me, were clearly stated. The young employees were enthusiastic, even until the point of a person tried to take our order twice! Food was hot, but quality wasn't great. It's a shame because you could hear that employees do their best for everyone."

"Where to start! Firstly i cant blame the White Horse at all . It was a Greek establishment that took over the kitchen for the night! We sat down at 7pm to be told a list of items that were not on the original menu! Including Moussaka! We were the first table to order! So we went to order three Pastitio . We were told there were only three! The food was so Salty! Chops were inedible due to saltiness. £12 for an undercooked gyro is too much . Come on The White Horse ditch the Greek this is not up to your standards At all !"
