"I just want to pay my tributes to Maze Grill and the staff for the excellent experience we had when we visited you for dinner on New Years Eve! Me and my family felt ourself very special already from the entrance, the bar and throughout the whole dinner. Especially our headwaiter (think his name was Karnal? but also his colleagues had much to do but never failed in attention, on the contrary there where not a single second we had to wait or ask for anything. Nice details as when someone constantly have an eye if our glasses needed to be filled up or when our son dropped the fork he had a new one even faster than he could of picked it up himself from the floor. And we noticed that the staff picked up the napkins and folded it and put it back whenever someone went to toilet or so. And it never felt pushy or so, just nice and friendly discreet attention. And what about the food? The garlic shrimps for starter was great as a appetizer and the steak for main course was perfectly executed, as well as the chips and the cole slaw was to die for. Again the attention for detail was great since we had different choices all four of us. The sommelier presented the wines on an Ipad to choose from and we struck gold for choosing a red stellenbosch one. If we have anything to complain about the wine could of been a couple of degrees colder, it was room temperatur I believe. We could of said something but we didn´t since we already got our main courses. When we left Maze Grill for heading out for the fireworks the doorman helped us with a cab…all nice details that makes you feel happy to pay the bill even if its much more than you usually spend on a dinner as an ”average family”. We will certainly visit you again and we will look for other Ramsay restaurants whenever we travel abroad again. Hope you will find a place in Stockholm to start up a new restaurant someday! We say Thank you and wish you all a Happy New Year! Mikael Tarnstrom with family"

"GIVE IT A GO!!! Chupitos is such a lovely welcoming restaurant me and my family have been frequent visitors for quite a few years. We have previously been for Sunday dinners, birthdays, mothers day, fathers day, new years eve, and the odd Friday and Saturday night. The food is amazing and always plenty of options all freshly cooked and well portioned. The cocktails are also just as good as any London cocktail bar. Yes sometimes when it is busy or we have come with a very large table we have had to wait a bit but you would get that in most reasonable priced restaurants as they limit their staff to keep costs down. Also their food is cooked fresh and it is soo tasty it is worth the wait. While you browse the menu order a basket of bread with their in house aioli it is amazing. You have to try the cheese and chorizo or the scallops to start followed by the fillet steak with Padron peppers or a roast beef dinner with their glazed veg and roast pots is soo good. If you have room for dessert then all the options are delicious so maybe share and try them all! I have not given a review before as this is not something I generally do, but on our visit this weekend when we inquired how business was doing Katie expressed concern about how a bad review with false allegations could effect her business and she was upset at being called a racist I felt bad for not giving a them a review before so thought I would make sure to do it this time. "We were really looking forward to a Sunday roast lunch at the Chequers Inn and upon arrival we were quickly seated at our table, which was lovely and cosy. We were asked what drinks we would like, and asked for a wine list, to be told they had red, white, or rose. After asking what wines they had, we opted for a bottle of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, as they only had a Merlot or Pinot Noir available as red wine. After a short while our waiter returned to say that they did not have a full bottle of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, so we changed our order. (Having subsequently found their wine menu on line I guess they had also run out of Malbec, Rioja and Shiraz, which is why I had to opt for the Pinot Noir from Romania). After a long wait our drinks of one glass of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, one glass of Pinot Noir, two large glasses of lime and soda and one small glass of lime and soda were served and we placed our lunch order, having been told there were no burger buns not a problem as all five of us wanted a roast lunch. For starters we ordered a ‘selection of warm bread with butter, olive oil, balsamic vinegar and tapenade’ and deep fried whitebait. After a very long wait the ‘selection’ of bread arrived. This consisted of a sliced overcooked baguette, with the tiniest drizzle of balsamic vinegar at the bottom of the olive oil and the tapenade had been replaced with finely chopped tomatoes and onions. The exceedingly overdone whitebait turned up after a further long wait. Then one of the roast beef main course turned up, which looked lovely, followed by the roast belly of pork with hardly any gravy so we had to order additional gravy (at a cost of £1 for a very, very tiny pot). The two roast turkey dinners and children’s portion of roast beef turned up after about a further 5 minute wait. The additional gravy followed 5 minutes after that. Despite numerous front of house staff walking past our table it was exceedingly difficult to attract anyone’s attention to ask for more drinks. Whilst we were eating our main course we could overhear the front of house staff laughingly updating each other with what was not available on the menu. Whilst we were waiting to place our dessert order another family came in, but on being told the lengthy list of items which were not available on the menu, they got up and left. When it came to dessert our granddaughter wanted sticky toffee pudding. We were told they had the pudding but no sauce. We asked for floater coffees and were initially told they did not have the cream for floater coffees. We were subsequently told they had the cream, so order a decaf Tia Maria coffee, a normal floater coffee and a rum floater coffee, and another lime and soda. After an exceedingly long wait, (we thought they had forgotten the order), our floater coffees turned up but not what we ordered. The decaf Tia Maria coffee was caffeinated coffee, when we were told this we asked for a replacement and were told they had no more Tia Maria. Great shame as this is a lovely venue, but we will not be coming back, or recommending it to anyone as the service is so slow and the selection of what is available is not what is advertised."
