"My grandmother and I had a lovely experience at this restaurant, enjoying the coffee and the relaxing view. However, we found the waiter to be abrupt and unwelcoming upon our arrival. Despite the busy restaurant environment, we understand the stress of the workplace. Unfortunately, after we paid, the same waiter (with a European accent and a beard) was extremely rude to my grandmother, causing her to tear up as we left. When she expressed surprise about the full menu offerings, such as a Sunday roast, the waiter replied sarcastically and rolled his eyes. My grandmother tried to explain her misunderstanding and express her desire to return and try the meals on the menu, but the waiter walked off and ignored her. My grandmother, who is 80 years old, was simply trying to make friendly conversation as we left. It's a shame, as everything else about the restaurant was lovely, but I will not be returning as long as this waiter is still working there. It appears from other reviews that this waiter has a habit of behaving poorly towards elderly women."

We called at the Bridge for a meal on the last night after a boating holiday, the food was nice but we thought the service could be better the waiter seemed not interested in talking to us and quite abrupt at times.

It is nice down stairs , up stairs is different American Dinner) which feels odd and the seating is limited, I had my back to everything which made me feel a little odd. The food is good as is the service parking is ok. View menu

My group of four had a day trip to Wroxham and chose to dine at The Bridge. The location was beautiful and we were able to sit outside due to the nice weather. We enjoyed a delicious meal and the waiter was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return to The Bridge next time we are in Wroxham.

We enjoyed a delicious full English breakfast, flavorful coffee, and attentive service at this charming restaurant. The roast dinner served to the patrons at the next table looked absolutely delicious. We were grateful for the opportunity to park our car while we rented a boat. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

We had the best experience for dinner at The Bridge. Our waitress was brilliant really friendly, funny and an asset to the restaurant. We felt at ease straight away and she was laughing joking with us what a wonderful warm person she is. We ordered the Sunday roast dinners which were superb! The only problem being we were too full for desserts! Cocktails were amazing honestly some of the best we tasted this whole weekend (better than any in Norwich! The alcoholic milkshakes went down a treat too! Thank you for a great visit we’ll definitely return when we next come to Wroxham.

Having visited here for breakfast a few months back, when the food and service was excellent, we went back for lunch. The options for a light lunch aren’t great but what we had was ok. Nothing special though. The service was a massive let down. Took ages to take our drinks order, another wait to give our food order, we had to ask for a second drink even though our glasses had been empty a long time, we asked for ketchup but got mayo instead…. you get the idea. There was only one other table in so it’s not like they were busy!! We will go back, for breakfast on the lovely waterside terrace, and just hope we are served by the lovely gentleman and not the young lady desperately in need of some...

"I decided to surprise my daughter and take her for a deluxe spa break . We couldn’t fault the afternoon tea and massages at the spa these were brilliant . We were very excited about our evening meal but left feeling very deflated . On arrival no staff told us what we could have with our package, we received the wrong drinks menu. After around 20 minutes someone finally came over and asked if we wanted a drink. We ordered and asked for tap water too . One of the drinks arrived but the water and other one never did so we had to find a young bar man who was rushing about and ask him . He was lovely and went and got them for us . After a long time of waiting bread and something in a little pot was plonked on our table , no explanation what it was , we thought we had got someone else’s starter . Finally we ordered our starters it was lovely but no spoon for my daughters soup so again we had to search for staff , plates took absolutely ages to be collected, mains came finally after 1.5 hours. It was lovely but the atmosphere was bad as other customers were getting fed up of waiting too. Finally got dessert and after we finished we sat patiently waiting for our plates to be taken and bill given ,as a lot on the menu which we liked you had to pay extra for .I thought this was ridiculous thinking back how much this break had cost me . After staff walking past us and ignoring us and the empty plates I had had enough and went to find someone to put it on our room bill . This experience was not the lovely bday treat I had expected for my daughters 21st disappointing is an understatement!!!"

"Where do I even begin? The service from the woman behind the bar was shocking. When I inquired about dairy-free options for my son, I was told that nothing could be modified and that they don't cater to allergies at all! I pointed out the menu's claim that they could accommodate such needs, but my concerns were met with an eye roll. I then tried to order him some chips, but was told they were fried in the same oil as dairy and meat products, and since we are vegetarian, that wouldn't work. I asked about the vegan dishes, only to learn that they are also prepared alongside meat products, so there's no guarantee they would actually be vegan. At this point, my daughters had already become excited about eating out and the play area, so I reluctantly decided to go along with it and ordered three sandwiches on granary bread and a child's fish and chips. My son had a packet of crisps. When the sandwiches arrived, they were absolutely terrible. The cheese and onion sandwich consisted of two slices of cheap store-bought bread, some pre-grated cheese, and a few onion slices—without even a hint of butter! It certainly wasn’t inexpensive; we paid £45 for four soft drinks, three sandwiches, and a child's meal. As for the play area, it was concerning—there were sharp screws poking through the wood chips, loose sharp fixtures on top of the slide, and a large exposed electric cable under the swings! We decided to leave swiftly; it was such a disappointing way to end our holiday, when it should have been a lovely final meal before heading home. I was appalled by their attitude towards me—I felt like an inconvenience. The food was awful, and I genuinely recommend avoiding this place if you are vegan or have allergies; even if a dish is labeled vegan, they certainly don’t take the necessary precautions to keep it separate from meat products. It’s truly unfortunate, as the location by the river is beautiful, and we were all so excited to be there, but we left feeling very disappointed. We definitely won't be returning."
