First visit in many years. Very good menu, with g f options available which was perfect for one of us. Great service in a lovely setting. Definitely be back

Friendly, helpful staff. Delicious freshly cooked food, served promptly. We sat outside but inside is very pleasant with some comfy sofa's and well spaced tables.

This charming, traditional country pub is situated in a picturesque riverside location. The food was enjoyable, and the service was satisfactory. Although the menu was somewhat limited, this is usually a positive indication, as it suggests a focus on higher quality dishes.

Despite the social distancing measures and restrictions in place, the atmosphere and interior of the restaurant are stunning. The food was delicious, and all four of us really enjoyed our meals. The staff was also wonderful and friendly. I look forward to dining there again!

We dined in a group of 12 on one of the hottest days of the year. Our food arrived quickly and all at once, so no one had to wait. We had a couple of picky eaters in our group, and their meals were served just as requested and perfectly cooked. The value for the quality was excellent, and everything tasted fantastic. Held my Mum's wake here. Starting from the beginning, it was easy to book. The room was large and beautiful. The funeral was held at St. Edmund's Church in Taverham, so the Swan in Ringland was really easy for my guests to get to. On the day, the food was good and the staff were helpful. A TV was set up and I brought in a USB stick with photos of Mum on, which displayed on the TV. There was a speaker there which I bluetoothed to my phone to play our own music. It was really good. There was a children's play area that my 2 children and husband disappeared to for a long time. Apparently they really enjoyed it, even though they did get a couple of splinters. Uncle, my burger tastes of blood . We were a group of 20 and placed our order days before at the request of the restaurant. Of the 20 meals, all 4 meals of Dirty Burgers were raw as you can see from the photo and the burgers are thin so there is no excuse, 4 other meals were stone cold (cooked but had been left on the pass at least 10 minutes, the mousakka was in an enamel tin but still cold all the way through), all the pie meals arrived but the gravy 5 minutes later. It is clear the kitchen are unable to cope despite having pre ordered everything. The steaks and seabass were fine, presumably the last thing cooked. Where do I even begin? The service from the woman behind the bar was shocking. When I inquired about dairy-free options for my son, I was told that nothing could be modified and that they don't cater to allergies at all! I pointed out the menu's claim that they could accommodate such needs, but my concerns were met with an eye roll. I then tried to order him some chips, but was told they were fried in the same oil as dairy and meat products, and since we are vegetarian, that wouldn't work. I asked about the vegan dishes, only to learn that they are also prepared alongside meat products, so there's no guarantee they would actually be vegan.
