"visited with a group of 18 to the breakfast. the staff was very accommodating to put all of us together at a place, even bringing an additional table when the number of what was expected increased. I had a big frit that filled my plate. coffee and teapots were regularly refreshed without it having to be demanded. the breakfast lasted a few hours, which is normal for our group. the coffee was good as the frit. beautiful clean cozy furnishings. they give me how if they found it helpful."

"What can I say! Ordered £30 worth of food from here, was here really quick and the food was absolutely amazing.. moved from other side of Sheffield and not been able to find a curry what’s any good (I’m quite picky) and took a shot in dark at this place and was not disappointed, will be a regular now"

"Sadly another Takeaway that had a great reputation and customer service but since new owns have taken over no so much service isn't good and owner doesnt understand that that he should remove items from his menu no raise the price of items and deals but then refuse to sell them i would rather pay to have new menus printed with the correct items and deal that i am willing to sell at those prices and not have to pay a fine for false advertising. But sadly it's only the latest of a sting of local takeaways in this area that have change owners and the new owns who bought the business because it was doing so well wont have the same level of custom as they dont seem to understand the things the previous owners did that got them those customer levels. Some rule for achieve this is. If it is not broke dont try to fix it. But to many these people think they know better."

"It's a challenge to get attention from the table service. Certain food items were not cooked properly and had a dry consistency. The steak also lacked flavour. The atmosphere was so loud that we couldn't hear each other speak. It's unfortunate, they used to be a staple many years ago."

The decor inside has to be seen. And upon entering the bar, you really feel like you are somewhere special. It's a very popular cool bar, and yet when I go there, I always feel like I've stumbled into this secret that not a lot of people know about. A must visit bar for anyone visiting the city or for my fellow Edinburgh people on a night out."

Popadoms were stale, starters were fine but chicken pakoras just a fried fritter with hardly any chicken there was even a chip on the plate from the fat frier, obviously the chef doesn’t care too much! My lamb shank was terrible and barely edible, it looked black and grey in parts. Won’t be coming here again."

"absolutely amazing. we sat down on a busy Saturday night, which is expected to be booked, the beautiful lady who welcomed us aimfully made a table for us so that we could feed. drinks were ordered and arrived very quickly from a very happy helpful waitress. the food ordered next door and since it was busy, we didn't expect wrong again. the beginnings came in good time and were pilted hot, the calamari was boiled to perfection and nave muscles were perfect. the best middleton grill is an absolute must, it was the best steak I ever had. the chicken was moist and very tasty and the ribs from this world. I can't eat middletons to all the staff friendly and amazing that even better. an absolute gem in watford. x"

"Just had delivery through deliveroo. Just over £50 spent on a range of starters, sides and a main. Very quick delivery …. That’s about the only good thing to mention. Chicken Tikka main stuffed into the bag on its side resulting in half of the main being spilt over everything, this meant our vegetarian options being contaminated in the Tikka sauce. Poppadoms soggy and broken, again squashed into the bag. Mango chutney nice. Garlic mushrooms were still hot however everything else luke warm to say the least. Incredibly disappointing. Will not be using again."

"I think eating here is quite good in average, but a handful of things are really extraordinary. this five star ratings should refer to those which are now stapled. these outstanding things are in my experience in descending quality: the tarka dal (seriously, this is a cut above any other tarka dal I ever had, and I had a lot of it, and it is also vegan) the pakora. in the rule does this place, imo, the best pakora in the city. the plant and mushroom variations are particularly top. they also have some interesting, such as spinat and jalapeno, and hot and sour. the naan. the garlic and coriander, garlic chili and the peshwari are top drawers naans and good portion sizes too. I have no experience with the problems that others describe in these reviews (long waiting times, sometimes burned/overboiled foods and unpleasant interactions with workers). my positive experiences can be an artifact of the fact that I only go there and collect items in person, and eat from a limited part of the menu since I am vegan."

"Visited on a saturday night. Restuarant was more or less empty yet staff seemed to be rushing around. Quickly became evident this was due to takeaway orders The owner who is normally very friendly and recognises us as regular customers seemed less friendly. When asked at the end of the meal if everything was ok I politely stated I was disappointed with my meal but my husbands had been fine and was surprised to be challenged back that it 'looked like ' the curry I 'd ordered so I stated it didn 't taste like any kind of curry. It was chicken in a tomato sauce. I also wasnt the only person in the restuarant that night with the same experience. Therefore we requested and were quickly issued the full bill, paid and left and wont be back. Not only due to the quality of the meal but the surprising attitude displayed when we gave our requested feedback, lack of atmosphere, length of time we waited to have our drinks order taken, having the drinks ordered wrong and length of time to take our order. I had no issue with length of time waiting for freshly prepared food but if I order a certain curry I expect it to taste like that. Wht could have been a simple 'sorry about that ' could have been brushed off as a one off but the way it was handled has finished us off. Shame but I 'd rather drive over to Corstophine for a decent curry. Very sad as I 've always loved the place"

To be honest we weren’t too bothered about that BUT it was the last straw on the night.
