"This is the most fabulous place. We loved it. We are a group of friends staying for a weekend at Mawgan Porth.. and after a lovely walk along the coast path on Sunday afternoon popped in, hoping we could just get a drink but thought that might not be welcome being a Sunday lunchtime and not wanting to eat. Well.... we needn't have worried. They could not have been more friendly and welcoming. Gave us a massive table all together (with the dog... and gave her biscuits)... and of course... one drink became several.... and we then decided we would have some small plates of food too. The food was fabulous... the service and friendliness exceptional. Highly recommend and thank you Gareth and the team for a great time. Vegetarian options: I had the mushroom soup. "Excellent food, presentation and service. All the staff made our party of 3 feel welcome. A special menu was available for gluten free requirements which was a welcome touch for one of our party. We were not under pressure to leave after lunch and so enjoyed our meal and family catch up even more. This has always been one of my favourite restaurants and it is good to see it continues its commitment to good food and service. Will be returning."

"I am not one to usually leave a review, however I AM IMPRESSED BEYOND EXPECTATIONS From entering the premises being greatly by friendly front of house team and manager to providing excellent customer service in dealing with all the queries and dealing with an irritable infant supporting to help settle him providing activities to keep him distracted. The service and food was to a 5* restaurant standard, with quick service and high standards if quality and freshness. Replacing cutlery between courses as you 'd expect in a 5* mainstream restaurant. The taste was simply phenomenal with all foods prepared with bursts of flavours complimenting one another delicately. Living up to the signage above the counter to SEIZE THE TASTE City centre location, with ample of parking at the rear in Pay&Display for £1.50. Pity this is not local for me I am RECOMMENDING TO EVERYONE to try and will definitely REVISIT whenever I am in Chester again."

"The food was fantastic, but the service was terrible. We arrived at an empty restaurant at 5pm and were initially told there were no tables available for 2. After insisting that we wanted to eat right away, we were finally seated. The starters were delicious, but when my burger with chips arrived, asking for some Mayo felt like a big deal. The staff didn't check on us midway through our meal and when we asked for the bill, they cleared our plates without asking about our experience. A service charge was automatically added, which we removed because we didn't feel it was deserved. The atmosphere was strange, but the food was excellent."

"I have used this restaurant now over 2 years, it is en route to my monthly hospital visit.......so, monthly since well almost every month I have enjoyed excellent cuisine, the menu is so nice and varied, so suits most palettes...mostly I dine here alone, but there have been many occasions when my good wife enjoyed the menu with me. The service is warm, friendly and reasonably served within good time. As of this August 2023 they have started a loyalty app....so now patrons can qualify for extras addons to menu at no cost . Overall a splendid Tapas bar directly opposite Belsize tube station, mI fully recommend this restaurant ....... Bon Appetit Recommended !!"

"Very difficult to describe just how bad the service was here. 25-30mins to order drinks. After an hour and incorrect drinks being delivered twice it started to become quite comical….especially as the waitress wasn’t able to tell us what the drinks were she was trying to leave on the table. We left after having to ask for the bill 4 times, having the incorrect bill delivered twice and ultimately loosing our sense of humour about the whole situation. Apparently they do food. Given the drinks experience I’d suggest ordering 3-4 weeks in advance."

"The Copper Kettle is a Cambridge institution. It's changed hands many times over the years and the current owners have a very nice Turkish slant which complements the standard English cafe food nicely. We were a group of six on a busy Boxing day and they pulled a table together for us really quickly. Food was with us less than 10 mins after ordering and we were out again in under 30 mins. Food was really good. So much better than any of the chain restaurants in Cambridge where we have ahad shocking service previously."

"We walked straight past it and someone asked if we were lost, and told us where it was. We ordered chai, everything in a box and a bhaji wrap with a samosa. It is all take away but it was quite quickly prepared. I liked my bhaji wrap particularly. My partner enjoyed his everything in a box too. The chai was sweet and tasted nice. Just look carefully at the numbers in the street!"

"We visited the Bouro x Kricket bar for an evening out, and it was fantastic! I was delighted by the blend of Indian and Portuguese flavors. My experience with Indian spices truly paid off. From start to finish, every dish was bursting with flavor, keeping my taste buds captivated. My favorite was the clams with Indian spices—it was out of this world! Each course was paired with wine, and we sampled five different types, including a fortified wine served with dessert. I really appreciated the open kitchen where I could watch the chefs at work; it was quite mesmerizing. It’s a shame it was just a one-night experience, but I look forward to trying their regular menu next time. A big thank you to the chef, the staff, and my friend who invited me for such a lovely evening!"

"The food at this restaurant is really delicious and the gentleman I spoke to on the phone was lovely. It's unfortunate that the experience was spoiled by a rude and ignorant delivery driver who had trouble finding the doorbell and blamed me for it. My best friend recommended this restaurant, but also had a bad experience with the delivery driver, noting that he was both rude and sexist. I have no complaints about the food or the restaurant itself, but I have decided not to order from them again because of this one employee. It's a shame that one person could tarnish the reputation of such a nice establishment."

"Visited the Atrium on a Groupon. The deal included a glass of wine each and a main each. We came specially for the jazz. Lacked a little atmosphere before the duo came on. Some background music would be a good idea. We ordered starters calamari which was fine. I had the seabass which was tasty my husband ordered the steak which unfortunately was awful so tough . My husband sent it back and the manager was fantastic he offered a replacement main or something else so we went for a free cocktail instead. There was obviously a problem with the steak as we saw other plates going back. Not something you expect in a premium hotel in London. The service was good and attentive no big wait for drinks or the food. The jazz duo were excellent which made the evening. Although there were issues with the food it was dealt with professionally and on the whole we had q lovely evening"

"Enjoyed their food as both a delicious takeaway and dine in at the restaurant and cannot fault the quality of the food or service. Would highly recommend. (Booking not essential but it does get busy and the dine in area is only relatively small so to avoid disappointment I’d book) The staff are all lovely, the night we attended a brand new member of staff were on their first day, and to see how truly caring the owners were supporting them on a busy night reflected their personalities. Parking: Free street parking after 6pm Monday to Saturday and all day Sunday. Otherwise it’s limited to one hour. Car Park (less than 1minute walk) on Greenbank Road Free after 6pm Monday to Saturday and all day Sunday. Otherwise it’s 50p for 3hours. "This family run restaurant is a hidden gem in Edgware Road . The Spanish grandpa is very friendly and attentive. He spoke with a mixture of Spanish and English . He reminded us not putting phone and even receipt on table because of theft . The food is good . The paella was better than the one I had in Majorca . The tapas were great too . Price is very reasonable. We had two bottles of wine . The price is £26 per person ."

"Went for Sunday lunch. Cosy historic atmosphere. Ordered 'vegetable au gratin ' served with ciabatta. Informed that they were out of breadcrumbs ! for the topping. Received a large plateful topped with cheesy potatoes. I put my fork in expecting a selection of vegetables only to pull out tagliatelle! Further investigation revealed that the main ingredient was pasta! A small handful of vegetables some undercooked were scattered around the edge of the plate. Two large pieces of ciabatta arrived along with a side of chips. Four portions of carbs and hardly any vegetables! Not what I expected or wanted and much was left uneaten. My four meat eating relatives all enjoyed their meals apart from the accompanying vegetables which had hardly been cooked and were almost raw. The portions were very large which resulted in some waste. Overall very disappointed."

"Visited last night with a group of friends. Food was lovely but the service massively let the whole experience down. We were made aware when booking table slots were for 2 hours which we were all happy with. Unfortunately even with almost half an hour...left we were not offered any puddings and with 20 minutes left of our allotted time a waitress set the bill on the table and walked away. She returned a few minutes later to collect payment and again with more than 10 minutes left we assumed we could finish up our drinks we still had. Instead we were told we needed to hurry and finish as the next group were waiting in the doorway to be seated, all while another waitress began clearing out table as we were still finishing up. If there is a 2 hour time slot we expected to actually have the 2 hours and not be rushed out 10 minutes early to allow the table to be reset. Instead maybe time should be allocated to allow some time between tables instead of having the next group spectating as we rushed to get finished and ready to leave. Spoke to others who had a similar experience and felt left down by the abrupt attitude they faced. Extremely disappointing and seems to be a common complaint from many who have experienced the same"
