"The all-day dining concept of GBR (Great Brisitsh Restaurant) in St. James is all about seasonally inspired dishes. The preparation brings out the flavours of each ingredient and the plates are beautifully presented. Dishes we tried included Duck Liver parfait with Yorkshire Pudding; Norfolk Crab with Rye Bread and Crab Mayonnaise. For mains the Isle of Gigha Halibut was an excellent dish in a Clam Chowder with foraged Sea Herbs. Desserts were dark chocolate mousse and Lemon Curd Parfait. Service is friendly and knowledgeable offering advice on the sourcing of the ingredients to wines that complement the food. Hidden gem in the St. James area (Inside the Dukes Hotel)"

"My wife and I visited 215 to celebrate a Birthday and an Anniversary we both took the Vegetarian Taster menu which was exceptional the Chef also provided a Dairy Free option for my wife. The whole experience was also made even more enjoyable by the friendly efficient service. If you are in Oxford and want a meal to remember this is a restaurant I would recommend"
