"Went to the theatre and wanted somewhere to eat beforehand. Saw the photos of the restaurant online along with a menu. Restaurant was in a hotel which was not clear from the pictures which affected the ambience a bit and the menu was different which was a little disappointing; the wine choice was also reduced. Ordered from the new menu and when my starter came realised that 3 ingredients had been omitted from the description of the starter all of which I am allergic too. Sent back 3 times and they still didn’t manage to get it right no apology and still charged even thought I couldn’t eat it for bruschetta read ‘bread’. Steak was £30 and not great ended up taking half home for the dog. Chicken overcooked and dry. Overall disappointing and will never return"

"Such a lot of hassle when we got there because we thought we had booked the restaurant but we had booked the bar the manager said that we shouldn’t have been able to book the bar via Open Table as the bar doesn’t take bookings. Luckily they seated us upstairs in the restaurant on a lovely round table as there were 5 of us, the bar is a bit dark and busy to enjoy a meal so we were very fortunate that there was a table free in the restaurant the staff couldn’t have been more helpful trying to sort things out. It was a very awkward start to the occasion luckily it got better when we eventually enjoyed a glass of bubbly some very enjoyable food. Open Table needs to communicate with GNH Bar over what can be booked what can’t!"

"First we seen a mouse. There were five other people that saw the same mouse. Our dessert was apple crumb it came out on 8” pizza dough with maybe 10 pieces of apple no crumbs. We will never go back and will I will bad mouth your restaurant till the day I die. I wish I had taken a picture of the mouse that came right up to out table! Thanks for nothing Tom Russell Upstate New York"

"My wife and I enjoyed a delightful Sunday lunch at this restaurant. The pork and lamb dishes were delicious and served in generous portions. The kids' pasta was also tasty, especially when paired with the garlic bread. The desserts were fantastic and we washed it all down with a delicious beer and a lovely glass of Rose. We probably ate too much! The service from the team was very friendly and attentive. The only downside was that it would be helpful if they had smaller cutlery for children."
