"I chose this restaurant for my 13-year-old daughter's birthday celebration with a few friends. The desserts were amazing, but I wanted to comment on how brilliant the staff were. Despite me arriving much later than planned and without prior notice, I asked if I could put up decorations and leave a birthday cake to present later. The staff reassured me not to worry and said they would take care of everything. The booth we had reserved looked incredible with a banner, balloons, and confetti on the table. My daughter was amazed when she walked in, and I was truly grateful. I highly recommend this restaurant for their exceptional customer service."

"Now, what can I say....love this place my family and I have made it a little a family tradition to go there when we go to brighton. the gentleman who owns it is so friendly and nothing is too much annoyed and the rest of the staff are equally friendly. the quality and presentation of food is undoubtedly excellent. we've never been disappointed over all the years we're going there. it is a must if they are in brighton, just eat nothing before they go in there, make sure that they are very full of it as they do not scrimp on portion sizes either. we had full breakfast waffel and 2 x dessert waffeln. my family member enjoyed the beautiful sunglass, which was given as a beautiful gesture, because there is birthday so friendly and very unexpected. "With a name like Hobson's fish and chips you'd be forgiven for thinking that this was a local Chippy, when in fact It"s one of London chain.. But this place is nothing more that a tourist trap, The fish and chips it's was good enough. But they charge extra for everything, even Tartare Sauce. So the bill for cod and chips twice, 2 ginger sponges and ice-cream and 2 soft drinks was a touch under £70:00 Wouldn't go back.."

"We booked a party of 8 for a 5.45 slot as we had to leave at 7 to attend a concert at 7.30. Although some members of the party were late, orders of most people were placed at 6.00. No-one got their main course (in some cases the only course) till 6.45 despite several requests that the performer in the party should be served as soon as her food was ready. Staff waited for the latecomers order to be taken, and then all food was served at absolutely the last minute. The staff seemed overwhelmed by the number of diners, and communication was difficult due to language difficulties. My Lasagne was overcooked and unappetizing. I will not go back."
