"came to an appointment at the restaurant bella vita invited. I didn't know what to expect honestly. great surprise, the restaurant has an air of the old trattoria restaurant, but what was a beautiful surprise is that the music was well chosen, the lights were dimmed with candles on the tables and a busy terrace. service was friendly. eating was amazing. in one point the music was quite loud, I ask the manager, a bit the music he kindly did. the manager, gabriel had a chat with us to see how we feel when we enjoy the night, I would like to thank them for giving a warm personality, knowledgeable and professional, quite surprised that this type of people still exists in restaurants. well done! recommend this place to everyone."

"As summer is fast aproaching the hearty desserts like Jam rolly polly is put to one side and makes why for the lighter while still flavoursome desserts like Crepes and pancakes. I must confess I 'm more of team 'pancake ' than team crepe and for those cynics out there believe me their is a difference. However a certain little Brazilian Creperie may have changed the balance in this regard. Senzala based in the heart of Brixton Market is an inviting small restaraunt with friendly staff and with so many restaurant competing and vying for customers, it is very impressive to see Senzala is always bustling with customers and standing their ground. What is so impressive about Senzala is the options, it can 't be just considered a place you go after a meal for desert, it could easily and most of the time has appealed as a place to go and enjoy a caipirinha or two (which they have a strawberry version, worth a try) and enjoy the many options from tapas to salad to savoury crepes consisting of cheese,Italian sausage and peppers (the godfather) to sweet crepes (sweet sin) grilled banana, Belgian chocolate,splash of rum and ice cream all rolled into one flavoursome dish. With the option of eating inside or out and staff that will tend to your foody whims it most certainly a place to check out. "Great little Italian cafe in Dalston. The food was good and the service quick and efficient which was perfect as we were heading to the theatre. Only negative we were seated close to the toilet and the door did not shut properly when unoccupied so we spent a lot of our time up and down trying to keep it closed!"

"It is a place that does not come in many guides and, despite these claims, not many people know it. tower 42, once the roof of Londoners (the grey tower that stands out in the city next to the omnipresent gherkin has, on its last floor, a restaurant/bar of cocktails the tables are arranged by the windows, which go from the ceiling to the floor. the views, mainly in south/west orientation are spectacular, especially at sunset, none of the other world and of course face. That is, cocktails (for Londoners) have a reasonable price that with the advantage of the views becomes a good value for money has a somewhat restricted schedule and it is convenient to book."

"We went to L'Absinthe last Saturday with friends. We really enjoyed the restaurant. The only issue was a large table with people that should be in a pub and not in a restaurant. Not the restaurant fault, but I would still expect that management would address this as we and the other tables close to us could definitely not enjoy the dinner."

"the most amazing place. the restaurant is first class with any authentic Italian dish that they could ask cooked to perfection! the staff is the best I ever met, so friendly and efficient nothing is too big, please ask for them. a big table for a birthday event and stella, the owner, could no longer have tailored to my changing desires (she had also hung up a happy birthday banner that I found so contemplative). we then went down for a pre-planned party in the event area, which is equipped with absolutely everything they could need for the magical evening (bar, dj decks, in built lighting and again the most beautiful staff). if I could do that every weekend, I would do that! honestly could not recommend a real jewel of a sound."

"I am here twice, once in september and again before two, and I will come back as this is a beautiful place. quite tables like the back of the restaurant, with more a lively atmosphere on the tables closer to the outside seats. eating is simply beautiful and the Sharing Plates of Mediterranean style meat and olive etc. is beautiful, and the burgers and pommes are w. filling and the pommes have a beautiful light herby coating that makes a change from the wimpers of the salt she somewhere else. but, come for eating and stay for the cocktails! the martini espresso is divine and there is this passion fruit number they do, and I normally don't like passion fruit, but that was huge and meets the place! as for the waiting and bar staff, funny charming and informed. I accidentally left the tipp on the first visit, and I just felt like tapping on the second visit, as the service is great and I felt guilty after the first time that I had forgotten the tipp."

"I have my partner for a bite to eat on a Saturday night to celebrate their 40th birthday. I can only say what a beautiful evening we had. the food was before place and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. this place is not a big place and is quite rustic in its facility, but has a relaxing chilled atmosphere. it is very cheap and the service for me was just right, not icy or slow. they also put candles on our desserts and took time to sing happy birthday to my partner. the tapas menu is not massive, which is a good thing and they also had a special board. support this small business, as these places in these days become rare, as big business and franchise restaurants can not match the personal eating experience of this small gemstone"

"We walked in and were seated immediately in a corner to the right of the door. It didn't take long for us to place our orders. There was a lot of discussion at the table about short stacks and big stacks. While I admired a hearty crêpe at the table next to us, I decided to ditch my diet and ordered a short stack of pancakes with bananas. My dining companions opted for blueberry pancakes and cream pancakes. Unfortunately, I forgot to take any photos. The pancakes were light and fluffy, just like Aunt Jemima's mix but without the additives! I also ordered a side of sweet potatoes, which were just as delicious as any sweet dish."
