"The ham and mustard sandwich, which was meant to be hand-carved, was actually made with low-quality, pre-packaged supermarket sliced ham. It was overloaded with mustard, and I could barely eat any of it. My friends ordered the cheese sandwich and sweet potato fries, and they had no complaints about those. However, another friend who ordered the chicken burger found it lukewarm and barely touched it.
We also ordered two glasses of rosé wine, but they were warm, and we ended up leaving them untouched. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, enough to make us decide not to return. We previously enjoyed the Laura Ashley tea room, which provided excellent service and good food. I hope you can take this feedback constructively, as it’s a shame to lose customers who would have liked to return, especially since the location is lovely.
Best regards,
Jo Reynolds"
