"I am genuinely disappointed to write this review. We visited for a Sunday lunch with the family. While the location and setting is great, the seating and tables are basic and a bit outdated. The starters were all very good. The main (beef) was really over cooked. The desserts were generous in portion but not very good apart from the pistachio ice cream which was lovely. The service: everyone was polite and tried hard but service was slow for drinks and food throughout. It felt like training and management direction was lacking. There were hardly any covers in the restaurant and from seeing other reviews on here the problem does seem to be with consistency. They are really missing out on the food quality and service, there is a real market for it in this area. The restaurant has such potential, there are very few choices in Northampton to go for a very good quality meal with excellent service combined."
